214 The Highs and Lows...(4)

By the time Pia made her way back to the front courtyard to open the gates, a crowd had gathered in the area.

Not bothering to send the servants back to their beds, Pia just marched her way through the crowd to open the door for Lady Jaelah.

When Jaelah heard the gates unlocking and swinging open, she didn't wait to be invited in. Putting her weight into it, she pushed the door open the rest of the way, making Pia fall backwards from the force.

Seeing their head maid go down from the harsh push, the surrounding servants gathered around to protect Pia's body from being stepped on by Lady Jaelah's shoes.

"Move out of the way!" Jaelah pushed and grabbed at the wall of servants blocking her from going any further into the courtyard.

Just when I can get inside, Lyra sends her servants out here to stop me...hmph!

The servent made a wall with their bodies until Pia was able to pick herself up from the ground.
