393 Sticky Situation

Ailwin got back to his guest room exhausted after the night's dinner.

I didn't get to speak more with Lady Lyra…

Dragging his tired body to the main bedroom, he wanted a good night sleep but first he needed to check in with Braeden to make sure everything was okay back at his estate.

*Ding!*

He comm'ed Braeden through video.

"Ailwin? What happened to you?" Braeden said rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"A lot… How is everything going over there?"

"So far so good… The King hasn't made any moves yet." 

"That's good to hear…" Happy that Mikaela's plan seems to be working, Ailwin was looking forward to relaxing for the rest of the night.

"Let me know immediately if anything pops up."

"Will do!…but you need to get some sleep. Your not looking like your princely self."

"En…" Cutting the connection, Ailwin yawned as he stripped off his clothes to jump into the awaiting hot bath his steward prepared for him.
