85 Sisterly Love

Lord Tasar stood in the middle of the ring and explained the situation to everyone.

"Mikaela has awakened, and her body is in survival mode. It will attack thing that it thinks poses a threat..."

Saavi couldn't believe that in the short span of leaving young Miss's side, Mika has awoken.

Originally, Saavi wanted to verify for herself Mika's condition but after seeing Kaze's wariness towards young miss, she knew it would be impossible.

Telling the healer to pass a tranquilizer dart out of his medic kit, Lord Tasar moved in close for a shot. The tranquilizer dart will make Mikaela lower her defenses, allowing them to move her to her residence.

Coming within ten feet of Mika's body, Lord Tasar retracted all of his powers and ordered everyone to stay still. Picking up the dart, he aimed it at the back of Mikaela's neck and threw it.

Thinking it would be as easy as when he shot a dart into Joanos' neck, he didn't put much force behind the throw.

When the dart was within an inch of Mika's neck, it was ricochet by another energy burst.

Feeling this burst of energy for the first time, Saavi was stun in placed until Kaze threw her to the ground beneath him.

Covering both their bodies, Kaze used his gifts to defend against the attack.

When all was quiet Kaze let Saavi get up, she couldn't believe her eyes. This wasn't your average awakening, even Lord Tasar was coming to realize this fact.

The healer promptly walks over and helps Lord Tasar to his feet. Looking at Mika standing in the middle of the sparring ring a thought pop into the healer's head.

"Lord Tasar, Miss Mikaela might be reacting like this because of the poison in her system. Though it's a long shot, awakenings have never been the same for everyone. Plus with this added factor this might be the cause..."

Lord Tasar thought on it for a while before assuming this was the only answer that made sense.

"So, what can we do? We can't leave her standing here." Lord Tasar looked at the healer for a solution.

"Lord Tasar, I honestly can't solve this problem. However, if the poison is the actual reason for this reaction, then we need to hurry before it has a negative impact on her development."

Saavi and Kaze overheard Lord Tasar's and the healer's conversation, they began to fret if they would be able to bring Mika back home to Lord Mano and Lady Lyra.

For thirty minutes they tried to get next to Mika, each time she would send out a burst of energy to beat them back.

Saavi couldn't take the lack of progress anymore. Thinking of all the bad things that could happen if they didn't help her soon, Saavi does something reckless.

While all the men stood amongst themselves discussing ways to carry Mika's body away without hurting her, Saavi carefully walked towards Mika.

Standing in the sparring ring, Saavi knew if Mika attacked her right now she wouldn't be able to protect herself in time. Gifts or not, she would be injured badly.

Taking a deep breath, she continued anyway, one step at a time she slowly walked forward

Staying focus on Mika's face, Saavi didn't see when Kaze realize she was no longer by his side.

"Saavi! What do you think you are doing? Quickly leave from there!"

Saavi kept her pace and didn't look his way, nor give him a response.

Remembering Saavi's gifts aren't strong enough to defend against Mika's attacks, especially at close range, Kaze became paralyzed.

Watching Saavi get closer and closer without stopping, and visualizing her death before his eyes.

Kaze knew if Saavi didn't make it, Miss Mikaela's guilt will eat her alive.

Kaze, Joanos and Lord Tasar stood rigid, Saavi was three steps away from Mika. If they were to go stop her now, they would need to activate their gifts which might make Mika react.

Praying that Saavi can crack Mika's defenses but knowing it wasn't likely all they could do was wait.

One step away, Saavi inhales and exhales deeply before calling out to Mika.

"Young miss...young miss, it's Saavi..."

Lifting her hand, Saavi wanted to touch Mika's arm yet as her hand came within an inch of Mika's body, Kaze, Joanos and Lord Tasar felt the telling signs that Mika was about to attack.

"Saavi, run away!" Kaze yelled before sprinting towards Saavi to try and save her.

Reacting on instinct, Saavi rushes to grab hold of Mika. She felt if she didn't hold on to her now, they would not be able to save her.

Throwing her body at Mika's, Saavi felt herself hit a hard wall before she blackout against the pain.

"Saavi!....Mikaela!..."
