Coming out of the darkness the phantom left Adamar by himself as he sunk into the background shadows.

When Adamar no longer felt the disturbing presence anymore, he slowly opened his eyes. The smell of herbs, other compounds and the sound of people, had Adamar momentarily confused. Looking around, he soon recognized the familiar room and people moving around him. 

I'm back at work…? Wasn't I walking with...

"Hey, Adamar. Mind moving? Even if you have no work to do, you can't just take up space sitting on the floor…" A co-worker joked as Adamar looked down at himself.

...why am I sitting on the floor?…

Getting up, he dusted off his clothes and walked to his lab table. 

"Hey, are you okay?" 

"Yeah…" Adamar felt something was amiss but couldn't place it. Thinking he might have doze off during work, he quickly got to finishing his work.
