The sun was up, and the day was warm. Lady Lyra recalled the conversation last night with Lord Mano.

Coming to a decision, Lyra jumped off her bed and called for Pia.

"Pia, have Savvi get Mika ready in her bodied suit...oh! and tell her to bring the sword."

"Yes, Lady Lyra." Pia left to complete the task given to her. Lyra dressed in her own full-bodied exercise suit, finishing she bound her hair into a bun.

Walking into her closet, Lyra pulled out a long wooden case. More than half the size of her body. Lyra hugged the case in both hands as the walked towards the training grounds.

Even though it was her first time entering the training grounds, Mika was not surprised by all the house guards running and sparring together. After all, she had once grown up in a military-driven society. This was the norm for her.

Saavi, on the other hand, was acting like your average teenage girl. Her eyes couldn't stop looking at all the young shirtless men. Laughing at her personal maid infatuated eyes, Saavi ran ahead to Lady Lyra's side to hide her embarrassment.

Lady Lyra stood in the middle of one of the sparring rings. Dressed in the same fashion, a full-bodied jumpsuit, Mika thought her mother looked like a soldier. Laying in front of her was a wooden case. Mika stepped into the ring and walked to stand in front of her mother.

Mika saw the quick twitch of dismay in her mother's eyes at her scar before she concealed it.

"Mikaela, you will be thirteen soon, the time when most fledglings will develop their gifts. During this time your body needs to be at it's best, but because of the poison in your body that will hinder your development; I've come up with some training to help keep your body at it's prime."

Bending down Lady Lyra opened up the case, inside laid the broad-bladed short sword Mika saw at the cave. Next to it laid a beautiful white bow.

"Starting today, and every day after, you will come here to train. Since you already bought yourself a sword I won't give you mine, but this bow was my mother's. She was the one who taught me how to shoot. I will teach you how to shoot, then this bow will be yours. Treasure it."

"I will mother."

"Good, now let's start."

Lord Mano bought Lord Tasar to the side of the landing zone. Saying a few words, Lord came back to his shuttle.

"We will be going to the Amara clan, make to arrangements." His steward rushed inside the shuttle to notify the pilot of the new coordinates.

Turning back around to face Lord Mano, "I'll see you there." Nodding his head Lord Mano rushed off to his own shuttle.

Two hours later Lord Mano, Lady Lyra, and Mika sat in the meeting hall waiting for their guest to arrive.

When Mika couldn't take this wait any longer, her father's steward came in leading a man of similar height to her father in. Looking at the smile of her father's face, Mika guessed this was the person they were waiting for.

"Lord Tasar, please come in. This is my seventh wife Lady Lyra and my youngest daughter Mikaela."

Lord Tasar said hello to Lady Lyra, then looked Mika's way. The scar was viciously done. Just as Lord Mano had said this scar will have no chance of healing without his clan's masks.

"Let's sit down. " Lady Lyra gestured for everyone to take a seat.

"What do you think?" Lord Mano needed to hear that his daughter's face can be healed.

"It possible." Hearing these words Lord Mano's heart soared.

Not able to follow the flow of the conversation, Mika look at her father, "Father what is going on?...what is possible?"

"Mikaela, Lord Tasar is a good friend of mine. His clan comes from the Wild Enchanted Steppes. With the Kalea trees they grow, they make 'Metamorphosis Mask' that can heal facial blemishes. I have asked Lord Tasar to come and see if he can make one for you."

Mika looked back at Lord Tasar, "I can make you one..." Lady Lyra started crying, she didn't think that Mika's face could return to what it once was.

"...but I have to warn you about a special condition with the use of the 'Metamorphosis Mask'."

Taken aback by the seriousness of Lord Tasar's tone. Lady Lyra worried that they couldn't get the mask. "What, what are the conditions?"

"Once the wearer puts on the mask. It can't be taken off. "

"What do you mean, 'it can't be taken off'?" Mika found it funny how all the magic items in this world always had a twist to them.

"Yes, once the mask is placed on your face it will adhere to your skin. It won't come off until your skin fully absorbs all the mask's heal properties. Until then nothing can make it come off...Do you still want to wear it?"

Mika didn't really care about how her face looks. But seeing both her parents' eyes ache in pain every time they saw her face, Mika gave her approval.

Lord Tasar's steward bought forth a case they took from the Udava clan's shop. Passing it to Mika's hands, inside laid a translucent-like half mask.

Placing the mask on her face, she felt fixed onto her face.

"We added a little design to the mask for you, take a look." Asking for a mirror from the servants, Mika saw her reflection in the mirror.

Shimmering gold and purple butterfly mask laid over her face. It was quite beautiful, unfortunately, all Mika could think about was how she turned into the 'Phantom of the Amara'.

"Thank you, it's beautiful."
