500 City of Bones

Just as Ailwin was working out what to say, two of his soldiers came back to the group from the opposite end of the alley way.

"Sir…!"

Braeden and Ailwin both turn to look the soldiers' way. The faces of the two males coming back looking shaken.

"What did you guys find?" Braeden stepped forward, stopping the running soldiers mid way from Ailwin.

"Sir, everywhere…" One of the soldiers panted out before trying to catch his breath.

The other soldier pick up where his partner left off, "General...those bones are everywhere in the city...Just lying on the ground. Some are even in groups, like they…"

The soldier didn't need to say anymore. It was quite obvious that these people died where they laid.

However, this fact wasn't what was making everyone uneasy. What had everyone, disturbed was the fact that no one move these people and allow them to rot and eventually waste away to bones on the streets of Jkorj city.
