100 Betrayal

When Mika left the office, Joanos had stayed behind to talk to Lord Tasar privately.

"Lord Tasar, I hope you don't think it was wrong of me in suspecting you." Lord Tasar and his family were the last relatives he has in this world, he didn't want to lose them.

"Joanos, though I wish you would've come to me, I understand the reason why you didn't...Just know I will do everything I can to make right this wrong." Lord Tasar pull Joanos into his arms, hugging him close.

"En. I trust you." Joanos pulled away to look straight into Lord Tasar's eyes.

"Thank you. Now I want you to leave the rest to me. What I need you to do is help the guards prepare for war, can you?"

"Of course, Lord Tasar." Joanos left following behind a group of guards heading to the back gates.

At ease to help the household guards check the perimeter as per Lord Tasar instructions, Joanos left like a ton was off his shoulders.
