The officials left Thallan's palace late at night after being assured that everything will soon be back to normal. When all were gone, only Salihn and Narbeth were left.

Seeing the last official leave his gates, Thallan let out a big laugh and smiled with glee.

"It wont be long now."

"Prince…." Salihn called seeing Thallan's happy expression.

"We can start to make our move on the imperial palace once we get some information about what is going on inside."

"Yes, I'll have my men station inside the imperial city secretly within the month." Narbeth replied, satisfied that his daughter is about to become Queen.

"Prince Thallan…." Thallan turned to a solemn Lord Salihn, annoyed with the disapproval he saw in his eyes.

"What?"

"Prince...why are you taking the throne this way? In a couple more years-"

"A couple more years! How many exactly? You have been saying this for twenty years already!" Thallan threw his hands up in the air.
