7 6. Real Reason?

<**> Warning up ahead.

Annie quickly head out of the prison and head back to the Wang's residence. She enters the mansion and didn't see Michael or Natalie. "Where's Father and Mother?" "They're both out." "I see. I will be in my room." Maid nods and return to her duties. Annie then secretly head to the basement. She looks over her shoulder to see if anyone follows.

She takes a deep breath and walks down the stairs. She covers her nose since the smell is so strong which gives her goosebumps. As she reach the last step of the stairs, she sees red stains on the cement floor. She takes out her cellphone and takes a photo. She turns to the right side and examine in that area. In that area, she spotted a few freezers. She looks behind her and doesn't see anyone.

She then got an eerie feeling about the freezers. She then quickly opens the freezer and take a step back. She spotted blood on the side of the freezer. She hold her breath and takes a step in. She gasped and immediately close the freezer. She storms out of the basement and head to her bedroom. She pants heavily.

She couldn't believe what she sees in the freezer. She knows this place isn't safe for her. She grabs her jacket and her bag and head out of the bedroom. She then heads out of the mansion. She needs to get away from there. She kept driving until she found herself in front of the hospital where Janie is at.

She gets out of the car and heads into the hospital. She sees Toris inside the room with Janie. Janie looks up and eyes widened. She gets out of the bed and both of her hands are on Annie's arms. "Ann. What's wrong?" Janie sees how tremble Annie is. Janie hugs Annie. "It's okay. It's okay. Take a deep breath." Annie inhale and exhale. Janie takes her hand and guide her to sit on a chair.

Janie sits back on the side of the bed as Toris was leaning against the wall. Both of them wait patiently for Annie to be ready to talk. Annie opens her mouth and said, "I went to the Wang's basement." She looks at Janie. "...Blood was on the cement floor. On the right side, there's a few freezers. I opened one of them." Annie's hands trembles. Janie puts her hands on Annie's.

"Tell us little by little." "T-there's a dead bodies in the freezer." Toris and Janie's eyes widened. Annie continues, "It's not safe there." Janie hugs Annie and rubs her back. "You are not going back there." She looks at Toris. Toris nods and steps outside of the room. He takes out his cell and make a call. "Get a house warrant for Wang's residence, immediately. Do it secretly." "Yes."

He hangs up the phone and went back to the room where Janie and Annie are. He was about to open the door but he heard something that he shouldn't. Annie asks, "Did you tell them about Jenny?" Janie sadly smiles. "They probably hate me if they knew." "Janie." "But I did told Toris about it." "What did you say?" "That I killed his sister." "Janie, we both know it's not true."

Janie gets out the bed and standing in front of the window. "Annie. There are things that should be kept quiet. I pushed her away. She was in her darkest time when she needed me but I ignore her. I killed her." Janie turns around and looks at Annie. "You promise me that you won't say anything about Jenny to anyone." Annie stands up and face Janie. "I know and I didn't but soon they need to know."

Janie walk pass Annie and sits on the bed again. "I know and I'm sticking to my story. They don't need to find the real reason." "Janie." "I want to take the punishment of pushing her away. If I don't...my heart won't be at ease." Annie sighs as she gives up. Annie puts her hand on Janie's shoulder. "Fine. Let me know if anything happens." "Mm." Annie then grab her bag. "Leaving already?" "Yeah. I need to go home." "Be safe." "I will." Annie then heads out of the room.

Janie leans against the pillows and let a sigh out. Toris, in the other end, appears and watch Janie from afar. (Toris: Real reason? What was the real reason of Jenny's death?)
