3 A Surprise Gift

When it was almost 1, Agatha ran to her room. Luckily for her she had showered and all that, she was just lazing around.

She went into her closet to pick up a nice outfit and just tried to make her hair look presentable. She put a little make up on for show and changed into her designated outfit. Agatha sprayed a little perfume in front of the mirror, and so to say, she looked good.

"Perfect."

Agatha grabbed her bag and put her phone and wallet in, before grabbing the keys as the doorbell rang. She walked to the door and opened it to see Lydia looking as good as ever.

Agatha nodded and locked the door behind her. The mall was just a walking distance from where she lived so they just walked.

When Agatha and Lydia went inside the mall. Lydia immediately pulled Agatha at the nearest store. She stopped in front the said store's window and gasped while Agatha just looked at the same thing she was looking at.

"OH MY GOD!" she exclaimed.

Lydia was currently looking at a black hoodie with a cute 'hoodie' engraved on it. She ran into the store and Agatha just smiled at her excitement.

When Agatha followed her inside, she saw Lydia already having a basket almost full of clothes. She too looked for her own things to buy. What caught her attention was another Vetements hoodie quite similar with the one Lydia liked. She knew she had to buy it as well, but when she saw the price tag.

"Oh my Gosh... It's over 1,000 dollars," she sighed. Agatha was rich but she never really wanted to spend it to hastily, so when she was about to put it back in the rack, Lydia stopped her.

"I can just buy it for you," Lydia said.

Agatha grinned while nodding at Lydia, who was stuffing the hoodie in her shopping basket. After a few more minutes, Agatha felt they were finished so she went to the cashier to pay for the both of them when—

"WAIT!" Lydia exclaimed. "I almost forgot to buy matching shoes for this!" she then ran out into a different expensive store.

So Agatha paid for the both of them.

Lydia absolutely loved shopping, especially when it wasn't common in her world. Before, she was stuck in between guarding the rivers and gardens of the dead souls. She really didn't get why she had to guard Agatha at first, but as time passed she finally found out why 'He' loved her so much. Agatha was a shy girl, she was kind; too kind, which led Lydia to reprimand her, because someone might take advantage of that so called kindness. Agatha didn't really know how to socialize, she blushed everytime someone complimented her, she couldn't possibly hurt a fly, despite her title and reputation of her last lifetime, and honestly she found that attitude adorable.

While she was busy daydreaming, Agatha found something that caught her interest, it was a necklace and it was breathtaking. She was thinking of buying it but seeing the price made her almost spit blood, 5Million? so she just walked away and thought that she was already finished shopping for clothes. But she tilted her head when she found Lydia staring at a distance, puzzled, Agatha walked in front of her friend and waved her hand in front of her face, that's when Lydia finally got aware of her surroundings. She smiled while grabbing her hand and walked away like nothing happened.

Lydia paid for her almost forgotten things and went home with Agatha walking beside her.

"That was refreshing," she said while Agatha just sweat dropped. How can shopping for almost three hours be refreshing?

"Well, thank you for shopping with me like usual so I'll be showing you a surprising gift," Lydia stated.

"Huh? What seems to be the occasion?" Agatha asked.

"You don't know?" Lydia looked at Agatha with amused eyes.

Agatha shook her head once.

"What's the date today?"

"February 6, wha—" Agatha cut herself off, when she realized something.

"Oh,"

"Yes, oh" Lydia said while giggling.

Oh, it was her birthday, she forgot about that, Agatha didn't know what face she was making but Lydia suddenly burst out laughing.

"How unladylike,"

Agatha grinned.

But then Lydia suddenly handed her a necklace, it was the super expensive necklace she saw at the store in the mall, she just knew that it was the 'incomparable' necklace, it was really really expensive because of its valuable pendant stone, she just noticed that instead of the yellow brown diamond like she saw; it was the hope diamond in it's place, but it was a bit smaller, not like the original walnut size it just had the melee like diamond, like the ones you find in an engagement ring.

"W-where did you find this?" Agatha stuttered still flabbergasted at the necklace.

"I bought it for you, I saw you looking at it at the mall, I wanted to give to someone important to me,"

'Important?' she thought.

"Why would you exactly give this to me?"

"For protection," Lydia said.

"Protection from what?"

"It's for some future needs"

Agatha felt confused, for future needs? Why would she need something expensive for protection? Too many questions were whirling inside her mind, that she didn't notice the expression of Lydia.

An expression Agatha knew all too well.

It looked like she was plotting something, she only makes that face when she's going to do something that will stir trouble.

"Just accept my gift, okay?"

Agatha just nodded. It felt like she was compelled to let the necklace go.

"Thank you." Agatha then pulled Lydia in a hug.

'Mission Accomplished, Sire.'
