6 Chapter 6

Hailey's P.O.V

Justin was back in Canada after a few hours of him leaving and everybody was happy except for me and Jason. I noticed Jason and Justin kept glaring at each other and Jason wasn't leaving my side for anything. Nobody had asked the question I knew we were all thinking of and it was a matter of time before I said something myself..

"So Hails, you're not happy to see me?" he asked me and before I knew it I spoke up "what are you doing back in Canada, shouldn't you be in LA with your lying ass girlfriend?" I didn't even bother stopping myself and Jason just chuckled at me, kissing my forehead as the rest widened their eyes at me "I mean, she's the reason you left, she's the one you picked over your friends. So why are you back?" Nina came over to me and covered my mouth then looked at Justin "she doesn't mean any of that, she's just hurt like we all were, she's just taking a bit longer to get over it" She glared at me and smiled at Justin "Get your hands off of her Nina, she obviously means it if she's saying it." Jason rolled his eyes at Nina and moved her hands "Besides she has a reason to be upset a bit longer, you don't"

"How many times do I have to apologize for you to forgive me Hails?" Justin asked "as many times as it takes you to actually mean it and not turn around and do it all over again"

I got up and walked out of the house, I felt someone following me but I didn't turn around assuming it was Jason "Hails come on don't leave, don't give him the satisfaction of seeing you upset." I shook my head and stopped halfway to my car "I don't want to be here. He needs to know that we aren't going to forgive him every time he fucks up" I said referring to myself and Jason because the others have forgiven him way too fast "I know that, that's why you and I aren't going to forgive him any time soon but you can't walk away every time he's near." I got in my car after kissing his cheek "let me know what plans you have for later, maybe we can do something."

She just had to wear that tonight sexy dress tonight, didn't she? Jason wouldn't take his eyes off of her and it was irritating me beyond belief, she was mine even when she wasn't my promise to her made her mine and no one else's. There was no way my own brother could take her away from me. I watched as he took her out on the dance floor and pulled her close, did she not care that I was watching? Did she not care about how I would feel?

Why would she care? You've broken your promise more than once, it's only fair for her to move on from you, the voice in my head spoke but I refused to think she could move on, she can't, I won't let her. Especially not with Jason. I watched them dance for a little longer before I had enough and got up making my way over to them "my turn" I yelled over the loud music Jason nodded and kissed her cheek before walking away. I pulled Hailey away from the dance floor and gently pushed her against a wall and brushed my lips against hers.

"Why dance with him like that when you know I'm watching, you're mine and you know it" She held on to me when I pulled away and just stared into her eyes, she didn't say anything and just looked away. I followed her same action and smirked when I saw Jason staring at us then whispered in her ear "it's better he knows you belong to me sooner rather than later Hails" she pushed me off of her and ran out of the club with Jason following making me roll my eyes, can't she run off once without him following? I groaned and followed after them hearing Jason yell her name "Jason let her go." he looked at me and there was something in his eyes that I couldn't identify "No you fucking idiot, look how she's dressed, she didn't bring her car and there are perverts like you on this side of town. I will not just let her go so she could get kidnapped or raped on the side of the road because you're a dumb fuck who doesn't understand she doesn't want to be near you. You may be a shitty friend to her and we may be twins but that doesn't mean I have to be exactly like you. Unlike you I actually go through with my promises." Before I could stop it my fist came in contact with his face "you don't know shit!" I spat in his face "so I suggest you stay out of it!"

My punch didn't seem to phase him as he pushed me away "I know everything because she has told me, you're not the one that has had to comfort her when she cries because of you. You're not the one that watches her at night while she thinks of you and just decides to have a full on rant about how you're always breaking your promise over and over again. You always come home with a new girl and she's left heartbroken and I'm left to pick up the pieces. I'm going to make sure she forgets you, I will succeed and you'll be left feeling how she's felt all these years."

By now Ryan, Chaz and Nina were outside just staring at both of us and Ryan came towards me to hold me back "Justin he's right. You can't just come back and expect her to forgive you bro. She's been hurt way too many times."

Jason's P.O.V

I left Justin with the guys and Nina and got in my car to go find Hailey, she couldn't have gotten far on foot and I was just hoping nothing had happened in the time that I wasted fighting with my brother. I was looking through the streets as soon as I spotted her I sped up and stopped next to her, I saw her jump slightly and chuckled "come on, get in" she quickly did as told and got in soon after taking her heels off "I don't wanna go back Jason, I just wanna go home" I nodded and happily took her home.

"Hailey I was thinking, maybe I could take you to New York to see your dad" I looked at her knowing she hadn't seen her dad since he got separated from her mom about 4 years ago.

I saw her eyes light up but then she shook her head "won't your dad kill you for not going to work in so long?" I chuckled and shook my head "it's his company, he can run it on his own besides we need a trip to forget about things." she just nodded and traced the bruise that had formed on my face from the punch I had received from Justin "okay, but if you get in trouble I am kicking your ass" I smiled at her "we'll be fine"

Especially in New York away from Justin.
