13 Chapter 13

Justin and Selena had arrived to Canada in only four hours, no one knew he was coming except for Nina, she still hated Selena but she agreed to pick them up. Justin and Nina shared a common feeling, they're hurt especially Nina that has to see them every day and pretend that she doesn't care. Justin finally got his and Selena's luggage and made his way to Nina's car. He pulled her in for a hug and gave her a small smile "hey." she returned the hug and the smile but didn't say anything. They all got in the car and made their way to Nina's house. He would call his mother later to let her know he was in Canada and wanted her to meet Selena, he just hoped he didn't have to see his brother.

As the hours went by he had spoken to his mother who invited the couple over for dinner as well as Nina and the guys. Pattie had informed Justin that his father would not be joining like always. Selena was having a breakdown trying to decide what to wear to meet the in law but Justin didn't seem to care about that at all. He was too busy thinking about if he was going to see Hailey tonight and if his brother was going to be there.

Later That Night

Hailey, Jason, Ryan, Chaz, and Nina were all at Pattie's house for dinner the only people missing were Justin and Selena who were currently on their way there. Justin and Selena had finally arrived at around 8:20pm that evening and Justin was ready to see Pattie once again. Once the couple walked inside Pattie ran to the door to hug her son. Justin chuckled as Pattie wrapped her arms around him "I missed you too mom" once they pulled away from each other Justin turned to look at Selena "ma this is my girlfriend Selena, Selena this is my mother Pattie" Selena smiled at Pattie "it's so nice to finally meet you Mrs. Bieber" Pattie looked at her and nodded "likewise." but they could see that it wasn't quite true. She then turned to her son "so how long are you here for?"

"Well I'm here for about a month, Selena has to go back in 2 weeks I think for her modeling gig." Justin stated as he followed his mother into the dining room but quickly coming to a halt when he saw Hailey. Hailey looked up to see Justin and took a deep breath. Jason seemed to notice his girlfriend's actions and stood up immediately Hailey held his hand as a way to keep him calm but she continued to look at Justin. She let go of Jason's hand as she started walking towards Justin. Once she was right in front of him she wrapped her arms around him making him hug her almost immediately. He took in her scent and rubbed her back whispering a quick "I miss you so much" so only she could hear it making her nod in response. She didn't hate Justin, she just didn't love him the way she used to anymore. She missed her friend. Their hug was quickly interrupted when Selena squeezed Hailey's arm a little too hard and Jason cleared his throat a little too loud. Hailey hissed at the pain she felt when Selena dug her nails into her skin making Justin look at Selena "let her go Selena."

"This is what you came to Canada for? To see her?" Selena hissed "not now Selena, no one has time for your drama right now." Justin spat before he looked at his brother "hey bro." Jason didn't say anything, he just stared at his brother. He was pissed, pissed that his mother invited his brother and pissed that his girlfriend was the first one to go over to Justin and hug him. Pattie walked over to her son and smacked him upside the head "this war that you two have has to stop, you're both my sons and I need you guys to be alright." Jason scoffed and walked away, heading towards the room that used to be his once upon a time. Hailey followed hot on his trail to see if he was okay.

"Babe" she spoke up once they both got in the room and closed the door behind her "babe nothing, do you still love him?!" he yelled at her, she took a look at her boyfriend and shook her head "lower your voice, do I love Justin? Yes I do, I'll always love him because he's your brother and because before that whole mess 3 years ago he was one of my best friends. Am I still in love with him? No I am not. I'm with you now. I don't need anyone else." She stated and sighed when Jason seemed like he didn't believe her "you cannot be serious right now Jason. You're never like this and I don't think I like it." she spat "I wouldn't be like this if I didn't know that you were once hung up on that dumbass." he responded

"That dumbass is your brother Jason, It's been three years, get over it because I obviously am. I don't want Justin." She stepped closer to her boyfriend hoping he would calm down "I want you." She reassured him before she pressed her lips on his. Jason pulled her closer if that was possible and began moving his lips against hers. The kiss soon got heated and he reached down to the hem of her dress pulling it up a bit so he had access to her ass. He gave it a squeeze making her moan into his mouth. He moved his lips to her neck making her tilt it to the side giving him more access to it. Jason didn't waste any time in nibbling on it, he was getting ready to strip her off her dress until she stopped him. "We are at mom's house. Relax." He groaned and whined "come on babe" she shook her head and giggled "stop being so horny. You literally got some before we got here." He pouted making her laugh "babe stop, later. Come on" she fixed herself up making sure she looked presentable and then looked at Jason "fix yourself and meet me outside" she pecked his lips and slipped out of the room before he had time to turn it into a hot make out session again.

She walked out into the living room where everybody waited "is he good?" Justin asked making her nod "yeah he's fine." Jason stepped outside behind Hailey and looked at Justin "I need to talk to you. Outside." Justin simply nodded and walked out back with his brother "what's up?"

"I know why you're here. You're coming to take her from me and I'm telling you to go away. She doesn't want you, she's mine now." Justin looked at his twin and chuckled "she's not yours until there's a ring on her finger and I didn't see one." Jason wanted to punch him, he wanted to beat him to a bloody pulp but he calmed himself down "you're about to see just how mine she is" he snarled and stalked back inside.

At the dinner table one couple sat across from the other Justin and Jason shooting daggers through their eyes and Hailey not paying any attention to Selena, she was irrelevant. Jason cleared his throat before he started to speak. "Well first of all I want to thank mom for planning this dinner and having us all here. Unfortunately our dads couldn't be here and neither could mama Baldwin which sucks but we might as well just tell you all now who knows when's the next time that we'll all be together like this." He looked down at Hailey who was shaking her head as if telling him not to say anything yet but he didn't catch on to it "ma congratulations you're gonna be a grandma." Justin nearly choked on his drink and looked at his brother who was smirking at him and then looked at Hailey. Pattie, Ryan and Chaz were excited beyond belief and Nina just got up and walked away from the table. Jason decided to follow after Nina while Hailey stayed behind talking to Pattie about babies.

Jason's P.O.V

"Nina hold on" I followed her outside and begged her to stop "what's up with you?" I questioned "you weren't supposed to be with her, you weren't supposed to get her pregnant. You were supposed to get over her. Ever since that trip to New York. She still loves Justin and a baby isn't going to change that. If she's with you it's so she doesn't have to raise this baby on her own." Nina cried "I was waiting for you. You were supposed to come back to me." I just stood there looking at her I didn't know what to do or say. I didn't tell her to wait for me. We said we were better off as friends. She knew I would never love her. She knew it was just for fun. I sighed and hugged her "Nina we agreed that we were better off as friends."

She shook her head at me and before I knew she leaned in and kissed me "Nina, no. I have a girlfriend, you know this, she's your best friend" I said as I pulled away from her. I need to get back inside I can't be near her. "That can't happen again. You always knew my heart belonged to Hailey. Don't try to ruin that now." and with that I walked away going back inside.

When I got back inside Justin was near Hailey showing her something on his phone, as I got closer Hailey looked up at me rolling her eyes. What the hell is Justin showing her? "I told you that as soon as I lost interest he was gonna do the same" I heard him say, I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at his phone. He took a picture of Nina and I. I grabbed his collar and connected my fist with his face "you've got to be kidding me, did you two plan this?!" I yelled ignoring the pleads I heard coming from my mother, I punched him once more and shoved him away "you planned all of this so she could break up with me? That's low even for you. You lost her just accept it. I'm not you I would never cheat on her like you did."

Selena was by his side before I even finished talking and I took a quick look at her "if you're smart you'd get away from him, he's never gonna love you the way he loves my girlfriend, he'll use you until you're all used up. Walk away from him."

"Jason stop, don't tell her that. Believe it or not it hurts like hell when people say that." Hailey spoke before I decided to look at Justin once again "stay away from my girlfriend, stay away from both of us until you finally accept that you've lost." I walked over to Hailey taking her hand in mine but she moved it away too quickly. "Babe I didn't kiss her. She kissed me. I pulled away. Ask her." I looked over at Nina "tell her" I pleaded "I can't lie for you Jason, I'm sorry." She looked at Hailey "I'm so sorry Hailey, I should've never let him get that close."

Justin straightened himself up and looked at Hailey "I told you he's not any different than I am. Come on babe" he took Selena's hand and walked out with Nina right behind them.

Next Morning

"Hailey I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I didn't even kiss her!" I was growing impatient, she can't seriously believe them "baby I swear on our baby that I didn't kiss her, I would never do that to you" I didn't know what else to do, I was losing my mind. Three years without my brother, two years of our relationship where he wasn't involved and he comes home out of nowhere and ruins everything. "Babe-" I was interrupted by our doorbell, I groaned as I went and opened the door seeing Nina there
