5 Humanity

The hyper-drive activated successfully and Humans started to colonize Galaxy after galaxy after galaxy. Establishing the Union of Species in the process, soon the entirety of the known Universe was under the direct or indirect control of Humanity. This didn't last however, as a group of humans experimenting on the perfect form wanted to overthrow the Government. They were none other than the creatures currently in power.

Normal humans fought hard against these Semi-Human beings, sadly, they were outmatched. Them being stronger, smarter and superior in every way they eventually conquered Terra (Earth). The last image showed the leader of Humankind pressing the self-destruct button of the Republic... Knowledge, colonies and most importantly, the Hyper-Drive blueprints were all destroyed in a massive ball of destruction. Casting an Era of Darkness on the Universe, an Era where no one could contact each other, and Era of Chaos.

Some colonies like these survived to help any Human in need.

'So the reason they need us Humans is to operate the only remaining Hyper-drives... But this Hyper-drive they fitted on the Super-Dreadnought is constructed by them... ' I carefully analysed my situation, 'So they are still descendants of Humans, but at the same time they are not...' My mind felt like having a headache trying to make sense of what these Creatures are.

''You may rest in peace now...'' I put 2 Explosive bolts on the monuments it will blow up the moment I am out of Signal range. Walking out of the entrance I started to Explore the planet, finding many nostalgic items and trinkets.

'The Central Command is the last major building I'll need to check...' I looked at the map to confirm the building in front of me was indeed the one. ''Let's see what is inside shall we,'' My old personality said as it tried to wrestle for power sneakily. I shrug my shoulders to signal him to shut up. I took out my multitool and started cutting the thick blast doors, only after a full 5 minutes did I create a hole big enough for me to fit through.

After wrestling through the hole I ended up in the main hallway, *Activating Nightvision* the suit said as it booted up my HUD.

'Home...' I stared at the Sign clearly stating *Warning*, written in none other than English. Taking in the Rusted Vehicles and rotten Boxes, finally did I find something that resembles my old Civilization.

I went to the end of the hallway checking the equipment for trinkets and other pieces of equipment. Exploring the top few levels took me a full 5 hours, after which I decided to head down underground. *Warning, detecting high levels of Ionizing radiation. Activating Defense mechanisms* my suit alarmed me as I walked down the stairs. 'I am glad these stairs can hold the weight after all these years...' I looked at the abyss below.

'Clank' A noise of something hitting the ground deep below sounded, 'Don't tell me any mutated monster live down there,' I gulped down as I proceeded downwards. But just as I was halfway through the stairs decided to f*ck me over, *Warning, surface area unstable, activating jetpack!* my suit reacted quickly, I hovered over were used to be the stairs, while the rest broke apart and fell down.

After a careful descend I landed on the ground, soon I heard the noise again, *Activating Camouflage mode* I thought of it and the suit immediately followed suit. I walked the dusty hallway further down, skeletons scattered the ground, most with broken bones and skulls, 'What could have done this...' I had the urge to vomit imagining the body with the flesh. The clanking noise came back again, this time it was very close as if it was just a few meters away from me. I stood motionless as I relied on the optical camouflage.

'Bang!' The airshaft bursts open, out of it a horrid looking creature, closely resembling the Alien from the movie Alien. I held my breath as it sniffed the air, Its head then locking on to me. *Activating combat mode, hardening outer layer, releasing servos, deactivating camouflage mode, charging primary engines* The moment the camouflage disappeared the creature pounded towards me, I covered my eyes with one hand while I aimed my other hand towards it *Firing Disintegrator*, A beam of blue light shot out of me my hand towards the creature. I lowered my hands to see it no longer being in existence, only a pile of goo remained.

'That was close', I sighed as I looked back towards the end of the hallway, only to be met with not one, not ten, but hundreds of these creatures. ''FUCK!'' I shouted, *Activating all defences, releasing distress signal, all weapons systems activated* 'They surrounded me, if I am going to fight, let me do it in the name of my ancestors!' I charged forwards. *Shield activated* A blue layer at a radius of 2 meters surrounded me. ''Get Crushed!'' I said in a frenzy as I ran into the crowd of these monsters. The shield did the job, the creatures were pushed back and gained horrible burns, quickly pilling upon each other as I ran forwards with the shield pushing them away, soon the end of the hallway comes into sight.

''Die!'' I ran at full forces towards the wall, the creatures crushed under each other's weight quickly started to die. In the end, it became a huge pile of gore. *Shield Deactivated, power limitations due to a malfunction in the power core* The system alarmed me as I looked behind me. 'And this is why you shouldn't get prototypes...' My older self mocked me. I was about to prepare for a fight to the death when I heard a sentence **Quick, here!** Not understanding a word of It I just ran towards the source.
