162 Midnight Walk

"Laia! Laia! Hold on to my hand!" Her hoarse voice was easily swept away by the torrential winds around her. Yllana felt like she was caught in her own tornado. The blood rabbit stood on the other end of the swirling wind. It stood on its paws and its eyes are like huge rubies, shining against the afternoon sun.

Yllana reached out her hand.

"Ah!"

It was quick. It was deadly. Damn, she never felt more confused in her entire life like this. 'Just where the hell am I?'

She looked at the hand she just pulled back. Several deep cuts now showed that she could even see some bones under it. The raw flesh was red as the meat that she sees in the markets. She may be a mage. But she hadn't learned potion-making just yet. Now, she couldn't even help herself. She cried out in pain and agony.

Drip. Drip. Drip.
