52 Chapter-52 House Party[2]

As the day getting darker, the crowd started gathering at the gate of the Malibu Dume mansion community. Reporters, paparazzi, fans, all kinds of people can be seen.

With so much hustle-bustle and camera flashes going around, it is like a gala is being organized here.

But it's quite common to have this thing to occur. After all, the biggest mansion in Malibu is organizing a party where many famous people will attend it.

As Ric and Drew doing the final look of the decorations and setups, the first guest finally arrived. It was none other than Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.

"Did we came quite a bit early?" said Steven.

"Godfather!!!" shouted Drew and hugged both of them.

"Looks like someones quite early. By the way, where are the kids," said Ric.

"They are with their nanny's. At least we came invited, unlike someone who comes to someone's house uninvited and unexpectedly," replied Steven after getting out of Drew's hug.

"Alright, boys, stop fighting. And Ric, it's good to see you again," said Kate while she broke out from the hug given by Drew and hugged Ric.

"Hey, it's what we do. Isn't it right Godfather," Ric quipped after finishing the hug.

"Well, that's certainly so godson," Steven quipped back. Both of them then burst into laughter and hugged one another. Meanwhile, the ladies rolled their eyes.

Soon the party started as more and more guests started coming in. Ric's Parents, His companies' high-level Employers, Ari, and many bigwigs of Hollywood.

Many Big directors like George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Francis Coppola, Woody Allen, etc. And many big celebrities like Harrison Ford, Jack Nickelson, Al Pacino, Robert Di Nero, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks also attended the party.

And many lucky small-time or moderately less famous actors, actresses, directors, producers also attended the party. Not only that, some famous Reporters and TV Show hosts also came to the party.

As the party was going on Ric called Amy into a private room.

"Do you need anything Ric?" asked Amy.

"Yes. Can you look at this," said Ric while handing her a script.

It's a script of a musical romantic comedy in highschool name <Highschool Musical>.

Seeing her reading it, Ric said,

"Is it possible to release this film during March or April?"

After reading the script, Amy said,

"It is a good script, and it can be possible, but it depends on having appropriate actors and actresses. Especially the main hero and the heroine. if we can get them fast, then it can be doable."

"Drew and I will take the role of the main actor and actress," said Ric.

Thanks to Ric's exposure Drew is also very good at singing but not at a professional level but can hold herself in a musical comedy very well.

"Oh... if that's the case, then it will.... wait a minute, you are going to act!!!!"

It took time for Ric's word to sink in Amy's head, but when it did, it made her surprised.

"You are coming back to the silver screen!!!" she asked to be reassured.

"Is it that surprising?" Asked Ric confused.

"No..no... of course not... Congratulation and welcome back to the silver screen, Boss," said Amy.

"Amy... Will it be possible," said Ric with her eyebrows raised.

"Yes.. of course, I will personally see everything is taken care of," said Amy.

After that, they went to their respective ways to enjoy and mingle with people at the party.

As the party was going on, Ric and Drew together most of the time. As she introduced many small-time actors and directors, producers which Ric knew will be famous in the future.

Among them were Toby Maguire, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Matt Damon. Ric had a great time talking to them. In fact, they became good friends in a short time.

While he was partying, he came across Tom Cruise.

"Hello, Mr. Jackson. My name is Tom Cruise," said Tom.

"Don't call me Mr. Jackson Mr.Cruise, call me Ric," said Ric.

"Then call me Tom as well. Ric, I loved your movies and also your songs."

"Thank you. And I also loved your movie <a few good men>" said Ric.

Tom smiled and raised his glass and said,

"Thank you. I hope we can have some future co-operation."

"I hope so too..." said Ric and raised his glass as well. Then he said,

"It's good to meet you, Tom. Enjoy the party."

After saying that, Ric disengaged from the conversation and left.

After leaving Tom Cruise behind, Ric surprisingly met with another famous Tom. Tom Hanks.

"Hello, Tommy, It's great that you could make it to the party," said Ric with a smile.

"Hey, man. I am sorry I was late," said Hanks.

"It's okay. What's important you made it," said Ric with a small laugh.

"Well, that's true. But I have to say... This is a wonderful place you made." said Hanks.

"Do you want a key from one of the villas?"

"Nuh... I am good where I am."

"You sure... last chance."

"I'm sure. But when will you come back to the silver screen. I always wanted to act in a movie with you."

"Soon... Tommy... Soon" said Ric mysteriously.

And with that cue, they both laughed and then talked for a while. After that Ric, went away to entertain others while leaving Tom Hanks behind to enjoy the party.

Soon the party entered its last legs. Many started to depart. One by One number of guests started to dwindle.

And after a few hours later, the party was officially over as the last of the guests finally left.

The people that left the house were Ric, Drew, and Ric's Parents. As the final guest left, everyone sat on the couch in the common room.

"It was more tiring than expected," Ric complained.

"Come on, dear, it's not like you will have such a large party another time," said Hanna.

"Who knows, Mom. As long as this girl is here, this house will never be devoid of parties," said Ric.

"Hey!!!" huffed Drew.

The parents laughed at the couple's acts.

Laughing a bit then David said,

"Well son, it was a good party and I am tired. Let's call it a day and we will talk in the morning."

After saying that he got up and left with a "Good night"

Hanna soon followed before kissing Ric's forehead as well as Drew's, "Good night, son. You too, sweetie."

"Good night Mom and Dad." "Good night Hanna and David."

they replied.

"You have such good parents, Ric," said Drew with a smile after Hanna and David left.

If looked carefully, the smile looked full of sadness and longing. Which Ric figured it out. So, he gave a sad smile and hugged Drew close to his chest, and give a kiss on the head.

"I am sorry what you have been through. Hey, you're with us now."

"I am glad I have met you, Ric," said Drew snuggling closer.

Ric smiled and then he said,

"I am tired lets head to our room."

"Carry me there," she replied.

Ric smiled and didn't speak or complied. Instead, he took Drew in a princess carry and head towards their room.
