HOLD ON TO ME

You know the old adage, " you receive what you give out?" That's the type of statement that irritates Emma since none of it is true. She feels that individuals use those sentences to acquire what they want from you and then depart, forgetting they ever did anything or even asked. The type of circumstance Emma finds herself in, a circumstance in which defending herself didn't even matter, especially not to anyone. However, she had someone who always had her back whenever she was in a situation like this or any other. A stance that asserts unequivocally, " defending oneself is pointless unless you wish to fight on it." That one didn't go as planned when Jenna , a highly crafty girl , made a soft - hearted, nice and calm girl like Emma indignant and enraged. The shy girl eventually tried to speak up for herself one day , but she failed spectacularly. What happens now when she is less defended and there is no one to help her? Nobody , not even the person who always does. What happens when a fresh transfer student enters her life and acts as a buffer from folks like Jenna? What happens , though, when the falsehoods begin to surface and concerns begin to be raised ? Will Emma continue to cling on , or will she , as the phrase goes, " I believed I understood the sort of person you were , the sort of person I declared you to be. " But I believe my hopes were way too high for you."
