THE WRONG WAY TO CONFESS

Year 4,

Michael Adam(player) is in Slytherin house along with Rowan and Merula.

"Michael,are you okay?" Rowan ask him as he enter the potion's class room.Michael's face look worry and he seem lost on his thought.

"Michael?"Rowan said again making Michael to jump a bit.He then realise that Rowan is staring at him and let out a laugh as a cover.

"What do you ask?"He ask back,finally focus on Rowan.Snape and other slytherin's student already gather around.Snape eyes diverted on them,hearing their conversation

"I'm asking if you are okay"Rowan said again,slightly annoyed by Michael who have been literally not focus on what he said.

"I'm fine,its just I'm thinking about something"Michael said as he laugh,covering his nervous.His mind still thinking about how to do it.

"You are late-"Rowan's word was cut when Snape interrupted them.

"Ehem"He said in a low voice.Both Michael and Rowan turn their attention to Snape.Other student have been staring at them too.

"I'm sorry professor Snape"Michael said feeling slightly scared that Snape might mad.But he just ignore them and started their meeting.

"They have been a doxy on Slytherin's common room,which is why I need all of you to help me brew potion to stop this thing.It will also help you to entering your rubbish dirty common room"He finish with a roll eyes.

"I wonder why we can't enter the common room,so this is the reason"Michael whisper to Rowan.Rowan didn't change his gaze but nodded slowly.

"When brewing potion,I don't want any of you to write any single notes and trust me you don't want to broke my rules"He said again with a stern voice showing that he is serious.

As Michael heard it,his facial expression turn.Everything is seem hard now.He just plan it but Snape's rules ruin all his plans.

He thought for a moment and think it better if he done it secretly.Its not like he'll cheated when making the potion.

"Now all of you,start making potion"Snape order and all of them move.Barnaby,Rowan and Michael move to one empty table.

Merula just about to join another table when she felt someone grab her arms.She turn around and shocked seing Michael.

"What is this Adam?"She ask curiously.She already pull her wrist from Michael's hand.The blush on her face is covered perfectly.

"Err,sit with us"Michael voice is slow,making it hard for Merula to hear him.

"What?!"She ask again,she doesn't heard it well.

As shocked by Merula yelled,Michael slipped the word loudly from his mouth.

"SIT WITH US!!"He cover his mouth as he realise he have said it too loud.

Merula eyes widen and felt her cheek burn.But she quickly cover it by rolling her eyes and quietly sit next to Michael's chair.

"Sit.Down.Adam"Snape said as he stand infront their table.Michael followed and sit down without another word left his mouth.

They starter brewing their potion.In the process,Michael have spilled many things.He even brew the potion too fast like he is being chased by something.

Rowan felt worried about him.He stopped his hand and stare at Michael.

"You sure you are fine Michael?You seem lost"Rowan guessing and receive nothing but ignore.He shook Michael's body and finally Michael turn his gaze to him and his face sweaty.

"What?"Michael said like he done nothing weird.

"You acting weird"Rowan said again.

"I'm fine"He just ignore Rowan and continue his potion.It almost done!

When he was waiting for the potion finish.He steal a glance at Merula.He keep change his gaze from the potion and Merula to cover his action.

Suddenly Merula notice him staring and confused.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"Merula said still confused by Michael's weird action today.It almost look like he is totally crazy just like his brother.

Michael who realise he've being caught quickly turn his gaze to the potion ane pretending to focus on the potion.

After a while,finally Michael's potion is ready.He let out a deep relief sigh.He secretly take out a piece of paper and started his mission.He needed to ask now!

Rowan who notice Michael's action quickly slap his shoulder.

"What are you doing!? Snape said no notes"He whisper in hurry but Michael didn't stop.

"I'm not writing notes-"His word interrupted by Snape who now standing right beside him.

"What is this!I said no notes"He paused looking disgusted by Michael who broke his rules.

"Everyone in the class need the same advantage as you,Adam.Now let see what is your Doxy note is"He said and take the paper from Michael's hand.

"No please,I'm not writing any notes.That is different-"Michael begged was interrupted by Snape when he started to read loudly the notes.

"Do you like me Yes or No. Circle your answer-"He stopped as he realise it isn't a doxy notes,but more to a confession.

All students laugh at Michael.He cover his face with his hand,embrassed.

"Adam got a crush on someone?!"Merula started to laugh with the others.Eventhough her heart felt like torn apart,she couldn't show it.Now just she realise that all their time on Celestial Ball mean nothing to Adam but just a stupid time.He like someone else.

Michael felt embrassed but he couldn't let Merula know about it so he decide to laugh with her.

"Now that Snape read it out loud,I felt it a little funny"He said fakely,more to way of exit from the embarassment when Merula is the one who laugh at him.

"If you feel it funny,I can't laugh"Merula said rolling her eyes.

"Why did you seem interested on my crush?Do you wish it will be you?Well you know we did go to the Celestial Ball as guest"

Michael said to Merula,disgusted by how she reacted on his feeling.Don't she know it is her who he got crush on.

"That is not something I need to answer!"Merula said as she blushed.She turn her gaze to the potion back and ignore Michael's stare.

"Stop this at once and class dismissed"Snape quickly interrupted them and the conversation stop there.

Merula left the classroom in hurry and other student started following,leaving Michael and Rowan alone.

"Are you okay?"Rowan ask carefully,cared about how Michael's feeling.

Michael hide his embrass back as he didn't want Rowan to feel worry.

"At least everything is over now"He said unsure whether what he said is a fact or only his hope.

"Rumors spread fast at Hogwarts,Michael.."Rowan said worrily.

"Knowing it,this might not be the last time we heard about this"Rowan finish his sentence.But its only make Michael worried more.

"We don't have time to worry about it now,we have flying class"Michael said with a smile.Rowan seem shocked as Michael look didn't bother about what happened.He then nodded.

"Perhaps everyone already forget it by now"Michael mutter,more to himself.
