Prologue: Hogwart's student expelled

A sixth year Hogwarts' student, Jacob Lennox, was expelled for breaking several school rules while looking for 'Cursed Vaults' that are said to be hidden in the school. He had nearly caused Hogwarts to be shut down and put the whole school in danger.

'He's mad. I can't believe someone could be so determined about a myth to put a whole school in danger. I'm surprised he wasn't expelled sooner.' said Caroline Clark, a close friend of Jacob.

The Ministry has snapped his wand after he was expelled, losing his privileges as a wizard.

News from his mother, Mary Lennox, and sister, Cyrene Lennox, revealed that the boy ran away from home without an explanation. None of his belongings were taken, which makes some believe he could be kidnapped. He is now declared missing by the Ministry after a detailed search that lasted a week. Some students at Hogwarts believe he was sighted at the school, still searching for the Vaults that may or may not exist.

Cyrene looked at the torn newspaper article from the Daily Prophet for the hundredth time that day. She was glad she managed to lie to the Ministry. Her brother had left a note before leaving. No one knew about the note other than Cyrene herself. She read it again.

Dear Cyrene,

I don't have much time to explain why I'm leaving. The Ministry is after me. You will get an explanation when you grow up. Try to look for me at Hogwarts. Don't tell anyone about this note. Don't show it to the Ministry, and don't show it to Mum either. Keep this note safe with you. I promise I will see you soon, Pip.

Cyrene glanced at her mother, who had cried herself to sleep. She wiped the dried tears off her mother's face and then left the room. She made a promise to herself that she will find her brother no matter what. She just needed to be a little older…
