1 THE BEGINNING OF ADVENTURE

"Oh! come on. I don't want to go to school today." said Hobert to his mother "It's my birthday."Hobert's mother speaking -"I know, but it's equally important to attend the class. You shouldn't compromise with your studies even if it's your birthday." Hobert angrily said "Just leave me alone!" "Sure." said his mother "but don't take much time. It's already nine and you need to reach your school by 25 past 9." "The school is only five minutes from here." replied Hobert "I will reach there in time. Just don't worry!"

"I'm going mom

Bye! take care!"

"G'Bye darling" replied his mother.

IN SCHOOL

"Hey! How're you? Hobert and by the way, Happy birthday" said John. (John is one of Hobert's best friends. He wears a black coat and loves reading books as hobby. He is well in studies and.....up to this for now. Let's keep the suspense.) "I'm good and thank you for that. Let's tell you a secret. Well I'm planning for some adventure. I will be blessed if you offer me something regarding that. I feel a bit bored right now. Hope I'm going to find something really delicious."

"Okay! Let's think but it's worth to be patient. We shouldn't hurry like that. What if Drake can offer us with some magic. Let's find out."

DURING BREAK

"Here he is. Drake of Orlando." said John.

"Hello Monsieur Drake, the prince of Orlando. It is a pleasure to have you in this evening." Said Hobert.

"STOP!" said Drake "Please stop making such nonsense. I'm just a kid. Don't tease me like that. It's eatin' me"

"OKAY OKAY we are just messing with you" replied Hobert.

"So, that's the matter!" said Drake.

"Yes! Basically we are bored and couldn't find any stuff here to resolve it"

"Well you are absolutely in the right company mister" said Drake"I have found a book exactly what you are searching for. You will be amazed to see that..."

"That's it"

"A A.. Book?" said Hobert in confusion.

"Is that really going to resolve this."

"Yes but the contents will amaze you" replied Drake.

"Let's find out!" said the three friends together.

"Oh! My God

Woah!

Is that it.

That's tough." said Hobert

"YEAH! Do you think that's the starting"

"Yes! basically"

"We shouldn't go there all alone." said Drake

"What do think? Should we call Lucy?" said John looking into Hobert's face." She will definitely help us regarding this"

Hobert said with half a bit smile and red on this face "SURE ! I will love to have her in this journey."

THE BOOK OF DICKINSON'S

"What do you think? What does it mean?" asked John. "Well Wisdom, I think that it was probably the finest works of the DICKINSON'S." replied Hobert. "Do you mean that it has got some link with your ancestors?" asked the false Prince of Orlando. "Well I guess so. May be. You know that I have got very less information 'bout my great grandfather. Even if that does not make any sense, we can even find out." "Are you sure?" "Yes apparently." "May be he is right. We should find out."

AFTER SCHOOL: IN HOBERT'S HOUSE

"Okay. Here it is. The riddle. Well before we solve this have you called Lucy?" asked John. "Yes, She's in work. She will be arriving shortly." replied Hobert. "Let's see. Okay it says that the book belongs to The 'DICKINSON'S'. Well it has got some link with your ancestors. The book clearly shows." said John. "Tell the riddle" said Hobert in excitement of experiencing an adventure. "It says that 'Something golden in the place of wood can reach you to the key of the South seas.' Again it says that 'This Key will unlock the door of the world beyond the world.' That's it." " So, there is two riddles linked with each other." asked Hobert. "Most probably, yes!" replied John.

AT THE DOOR

"Hello it's Lucy. Anyone there."

"Yes we are coming." replied Drake

Hobert saw a girl most probably of 16 years. She wore pants and top. She has got a good face complexion but for Hobert she was like a princess. She has brown and curly hair. She was loved by her parents very much. She was kind hearted and very much friendly with three of them.

"Sorry but I cannot talk with you all right now. Hope I can see you tomorrow. I have come to invite you three to a supper in my house. Good night friends." She handed over an invitation card and left Hobert's house. " I think we should leave you now. It's midnight. See you tomorrow at Lucy's house." said Drake and both of them left his house.

"Well I guess that it was my best birthday ever" thought Hobert and slept with all his good wishes for his upcoming journey.

AFTER A WEEK IN A WEEKEND

John came running all the way towards Hobert and Drake at the nearby ground with full excitement. "Hey I..I have got a clue to solve this riddle." said John in a hurry. " You do?" asked Hobert. "Tell us fast. It will be better if we start the journey in the next week. I will inform the whole crew who are willing to participate in this journey." " The mystery says that there is a golden thing inside a wooden box. After searching in the internet I have found exactly the same information. It says that Bruno Dickinson, most probably your great grandfather was lost in the year 1934 and never to be found again. He used to carry a wooden box." " That's ridiculous. I need to ask about this information to my father. He may know what does it mean." replied Hobert. "Yes I think you are right. Take your time. Inform us in the next week. Until then I shall be inviting our crew." said Drake. "Sure. That will be best" said Drake.

AN ARGUMENT WITH HIS FATHER

"Hey, father can you please tell me how my great grandfather died? I am in a bit confusion." asked Hobert to his father. " From where have you got such information? And by the way I don't know and if I get some information regarding him I would be pleased to inform you. No more comments on him. Concentrate on your studies." replied his father in an angry mood. " Oh father please. I need to know about him. John had already informed our crew." said Hobert. "C...crew! What do you mean by crew. HOBERT what's the matter. What are you guys planning for? Tell me clearly."

AFTER HE EXPLAINED THE MATTER TO HIS FATHER.

"Now I have understood the whole matter. Let me explain it to you. Bruno Dickinson carried a wooden box containing a golden sword. He kept that box somewhere in our yard. We haven't tried to search for it. May be it's still there. There is worth in finding that box. It can resolve many mysteries of our great Dickinson family." said his father. " Yes father. I think that, that book says about the golden sword and not any key. In fact the sword is the key to the South seas." "South seas! Well I know a ship that can lead you to that island." "What do you mean by island? Is The South Sea an island?" asked Hobert. "Yes! son" replied his father. "You can get to your work from the next week. I will book that ship for you." "Yes father. Thanks a lot for helping me. I will inform my friends about this to help me in order to find where this wooden box is." replied Hobert. "Good luck my son." "Thanks! Dad."

AFTER 4 DAYS IN HIS YARD WITH HIS CREW

"FOUND IT! FOUND IT!" shouted Lucy. All the friends came running towards her. They saw a wooden box. "Open it!" said John. Lucy opened the wooden box and saw a large and sharp sword made of an alloy of gold and brass. "Look! This is the sword and wait, there is an old map. It says that it is the map of the South seas. The sword belonged to the DICKINSON'S, it clearly shows." said Lucy. 'We have resolved the mystery. THUMBS UP!" "Yes we have." replied Hobert in excitement. "Let's leave you here. We will come after three days to the port. We need to make some arrangements." said John and left the scene. Drake and Lucy too did the same and left. Hobert wished them a farewell. He also started making arrangements in his home from that day.

IN THE PORT

"Hi! friends." shouted Lucy while rushing towards the port. "Hey there she is. But you're late. No problem yet you have come." said John. "Hey" shouted Hobert from 'Saint Paulstein' the ship which will lead them to the South seas. " Come here the Captain is waiting for you all." " Yes we are coming." shouted his friends together from the port. All four of them are now on the ship. "Lucy! read out the names of our crew." said Drake. "You all know your names don't you?" said Lucy " "Okay I'm calling your names. We have Hobert Dickinson, John Wisdom, Drake Swallow and me, Lucy White." The ship rang the bell and took off the anchor from the port and started the engine. The group of four adventurers left the city and waved her a good bye.

AFTER SPENDING SOME TIME IN THE SHIP

"It's evening now. I think we should have lunch now." said Drake. "Lunch's ready Sir and ma'am" said the Captain. "After having lunch we shall rest. I am very tired. I am Drake will share the left door. You and Lucy can share the nextdoor." said John. "Yes that will be good. I am tired too" replied Hobert.

WHILE HAVING LUNCH

"Hey! Captain. How far is the South Sea island?" asked Drake. "Well sir it's nearly 8000 miles from here. Within an hour we shall reach the Dimension tunnel. Time works differently there. I shall make you understand in the trip. It will be very clever if you rest in the room for some time. When we shall be in that tunnel, the ship may shake for some time but don't worry it won't harm the ship." " So, as I have told, let's rest now and yes, thanks for the lunch Captain. It was delicious." said John. "Welcome Sir, it's my pleasure to serve you with the best dish." replied the Captain.

IN THE ROOM

John and Drake are already sleeping as they are very tired. But Lucy and Hobert are very concerned about their upcoming trip. They are now talking in their room with each other. "Hey! Hobert. Do you like me?" asked Lucy in bit shy manner. "W..Why are you asking me this? Are you Okay?" replied Hobert. "May be not but I think that I am in love with you." Hobert is not able to find anything to say which clearly shows how nervous he is by hearing those words. But he gave some cool breath through his mouth and said " I love you! Lucy." Lucy didn't say anything to Hobert and slowly brought her lips towards Hobert's and kissed him. They became so emotional and romantic at the moment that they couldn't stop kissing each other but a sudden shake of the ship restricted them from doing so. "What's happening?" cried Lucy. "I don't know. May be the ship is shaking as the Captain told us." Drake and John came running and entered into Hobert's room. "I think we have entered into the Dimension tunnel but I think we should not go out of the room now." said Drake in a hurry. The whole crew is now on the bed waiting for the ship to stop shaking and find out the reason behind the shake by asking the Captain. That night the whole crew shared a single room and slept.

THE NEXT DAY IN THE SHIP

"G'morning friends." wished Hobert. "The night was a bit dreadful for all of us. May be the Captain can explain us about that." "May be you are right" replied Lucy." Let's find out." All the four friends led their feet towards the Captain. "Hey Captain. Can you explain us about the incident happened on last night." "With pleasure Sir" replied the Captain. " The shake that you felt last night was because we had entered through the Dimension Tunnel towards the hidden Island of the South Sea. Well let me make it clear to you. Here a month means one year in the outside world. No other people except I and your father have access to this hidden world. I was the Captain who led your great grandfather to the South Seas. You may wonder why I am still alive. This is just because time works differently here. I have spent 20 months with your great grandfather but he told me not to live with him forever which made me move to the outside world. I found that 20 years have already passed away in this world. I found my parents in very old condition and my son as an adult. My wife had considered me as a dead man. She was mad at me when she found me. Well that's two years before. I am 89 years old but still I look like I'm 60's or like that...." Suddenly the ship again shaked. The condition of the weather was getting worse. Black clouds are emerging above the ship. As soon as the crew tried to get into the cabin, the rain started and it kept on increasing it's speed.

THE SEA MONSTER

The storm is accompanied by lightning and thunder. It seemed that the ship was being flown away by the huge waves and again sank down by it. In the meanwhile a huge squid with large tentacles emerged from the deep sea waters whose length was far big from the ship. It struck the ship and torn apart the woods. Water began to flow through the floor of the ship. All the four friends stepped out of the cabin with their bags. "What's this thing?" shouted John. "I don't know. May be it's a creature from this world who doesn't want us to be here. We need to stop this creature before it wrecks our ship." replied Hobert. "Take this!" shouted Drake and three the golden sword to Hobert. "What's it's weak point." " I think you need to take off the red pearl from it's forehead." replied Lucy. After hearing to her words, Hobert took the rope of the ship and tied it to a wooden pillar. He tied the other end of the rope to the octopus and swung himself towards it with the sword in his hand. He jumped off the rope and pierced the sword into it's forehead and snatched the red pearl and took the sword off it's forehead. The pain from the pierced sword forced the octopus from destroying the ship and it went into the sea again. The weather came back to it's previous state and the storm ended. "I have taken the pearl. What's the use of it" asked Hobert. John took the sword and pearl from Hobert and out it in the socket made ant the lower end of the sword and they experienced a shining light coming out of the sword. It transformed the sword into a brand new platinum sword and also sharped the blades of it. "I think nature wanted us from doing this." said John. "Yes! I think you are right." added Lucy. "Captain take us to the South Sea as quick as possible." said Hobert. "With pleasure sir." replied the Captain and pushed the ship with twice the speed it was going before. "I just cannot wait to see what is waiting for us in future." said Lucy and brought her face towards Hobert's and kissed him. The other two friends said "Hey please don't start it now. Don't you feel tired." and they bursted into laughter.

The day was bitter but resolved many mysteries. The four friends wished them a good luck and this time they tend to be more prepared than before. Let's find our what obstrucle is waiting in the path of our heroes in the upcoming days.
