1 Let's Start The Day

Morning came waking her up with its slowly brightening light that went through her curtains illuminating the room with soft light. Ray gently raised her head and opened her eyes turning it towards her clock. '5:29...more sleep..' she unhesitantly drops her head back on her comfy pillow and went back to sleep letting her long dark locks spread everywhere.

3...2...1 "𝘯𝘪𝘊𝘌𝘶 𝘗𝘈𝘱𝘙𝘪𝘒𝘢! 𝘯𝘪𝘊𝘌𝘶 𝘗𝘈𝘱𝘙𝘪𝘒𝘢! 𝘯𝘪𝘊𝘌𝘶 𝘗𝘈-" Ray scrambled towards her phone to snooze one of her multiple alarms she had set on her phone before bed. Sitting down on the cold floor cross-legged she unplugs and sets her phone down before stretching her arms up" *sigh* okay... Lets start the day." she announced to herself before standing up while connecting her phone to her speaker then making her way towards her walk-in closet to choose her outfit then bringing it with her in the bathroom.

" I WanNA bIG HouSE, BiG cARs and BIG RRINGS" Ray goofily sang (or rapped) and danced along to the song while brushing her hair. "Hey Ray~ Lets have breakfast together!" Zain screamed from the other side of her bedroom door after knocking twice. "Okay, I'll be there in just a minute!" She replied shutting her bathroom door quickly gathering her stuff, shutting down her speaker, and running out of her bedroom door towards the kitchen. "Morning Ms. Aki." Ray greeted their housemaid "Wonderful morning Miss Ray" Ms. Aki replied setting her warm coco on the table; She had been both Zain and Ray's father's childhood friend as well as his family's loyal housemaid till now. Her and her son Mitsuru are the only ones left of the staffs that are trustworthy enough to keep besides the two siblings.

"Morning little Ray" Zain pecked his little sister's head as he passed by with his phone in his left hand and his steaming coco on the right "Morning. Had a call?" She asked as she started eating "Yeah, work stuff" He replied running his fingers through his dark blonde locks sighing after he sets his coco down. "So are you doing good at school? No missing projects, homework or anything? It's the end of the school year. " He looked at her hoping he could help her with anything 'It's the last of her senior year. We rewatched the old Run episodes last week. She's gotta have some work she hasn't finished! Even I had trouble finishing my work' Zain convinced himself "Nah I finished everything early. I turned them in already but the other projects are still in my laptop. I couldn't turn them in early." She said as she flashed her brother a smile. 'Psh, smarty pants.' He pouted as he weakily poked his scrambled eggs .

"Where's Mitsu?" "He's packing our stuff for our business trip. I'll be out for a week. You think you'll be okay?" Ray nodded as she drank her coco hurriedly "Being vice president isn't really easy huh? Hey I gotta go I might get late" She said as she got up and hug him "Want me to drive you? I'm not doing anything right now" "But-" "Aren't you gonna miss me?" Zain pouted "Aren't YOU the one who's going to miss me?" Ray tiredly rolled her dark brown eyes 'He's gonna embarrass me again if he drops me off...Last time people in campus thought he was my boyfriend.' "Fine but no bear hugging" she warned "Can't promise you that!" Her brother smiled mischievously as he raced her to his car "Bye Ms. Aki!" They both shouted as they left her in the dining room 'Ah, those two are always so lively. Though both their parents have passed, they've grown quite strong.' Ms. Aki smiled to herself as she started cleaning the table.

"Hey, what do you wanna do for summ-" "Go to Korea!" Ray excitedly cut him off "*sigh* Okay, fine. This time we'll go there but you can't bring anybody. It'll be a vacation for the three of us (plus Mitsuru)" "Deal! And then we could finally go to a BTS fan meeting!" Ray shook her brother's right shoulder "okay, enough. We're here" "Oh, drop me off there." Zain parked the car near the school where Ray pointed to "You're the best big brother ever! Muwah! Have a safe trip. Tell Mitsu that too" She hugged and kissed her brother on the cheek and jumped out of the car 'I can't believe he agreed and he's coming with me too!' She happily crossed the road and stood in front of her school letting the other students pass her "Don't worry about me. I'm gonna miss you too!" She shouted across the street and waved. Zain smiled to himself in the car 'Ah this kid never changes. I gotta finish all my left over files if I wanna go with her to-'
