'Morning tea? That Saegusa Kouichi? ' thought Lev with an even expression, not showing any changes to Kojiro

It was an unfriendly invitation, sending someone from the JSDF's 3rd division in person, fully armed. Lev thought that there were two possibilities why the head of the Saegusa family wanted to talk to him, his relationship with Mayumi or they found out that his family background was fake.

The certain thing is, he couldn't just approach a spider web even if he wasn't an insect. Annihilating the Saegusa family and starting a war between the Soviets and Japan is one, same thing.

" Huh? What did u say?" Kojiro raised his eyebrows at Lev's answer.

Lev then turned and tried to leave.

"Ugh, didn't you hear what I said? The head of the Saegusa family wanted to talk to you, and you refused just like that?" Kojiro chased after Lev and tapped him on the shoulder, stop his steps.

"The driver, huh? In other words, a suicide attack. Well, that's one way to hide the usage of magic." Lev said crossing his arms.

But the question is, who are these madmen really after, First-high or...

"How cowardly." Miyuki muttered clenching her thin hands.

Lev who saw Miyuki's response fell silent before opening his mouth.

The three of them then walked into the hotel while chatting, inside they were greeted by Erika, of course Lev already know that she's here. From the start it was because of Erika that he was able to stay at this hotel without having to be a staff or participant. Let's just say the Chiba Family has some connections with the military.

He is going upstairs, headed to the hotel's rooftop. But when he got to the top, he was startled by the presence of an unexpected figure.

It was Tatsuya, wearing a black shirt and pants. Seems to be meditating. Hearing Lev's voice, Tatsuya opened his eyes and looked back.

Lev closed the door before he walked over to Tatsuya with a smile.

"Just getting some fresh air, and you... Is that part of the Taijutsu training you're talking about?" Lev asked.

Tatsuya nodded.

" Anyway, how about your preparation for tomorrow?"

" Everything is fine, although there are some CADs that I need to code tomorrow before the event starts. " Tatsuya said.

"I see, It must be really tiring to work as a magic technician, I mean I can't imagine having to deal with millions of magic activation codes every day." Lev said, then cut the strawberry ice cream in his hand in half before giving it to Tatsuya.

"Thank you." Tatsuya then glanced at Lev who was walking past him, standing aside to looked down.

"I was already planning to become a magic technician since the beginning, so you can say that I'm used to it."

"Is that so."

Silence. The sound of the wind rustling could be heard, as the two of them were silent and didn't say anything. Lev then smiled faintly, took a bite of his ice cream before turning around and looking at Tatsuya.

"Come to think of it, the two of us haven't fought each other at all, have we, Tatsuya?" said Lev.

Tatsuya smiled.

"What are you talking about, Lev. We are both friends, what are we fighting each other for?"

Lev was silent for a moment before he laughed lightly.

"Haha, you're right. Maybe because of that, but I'm talking about spars. Ever since Miyuki told me that you were a student of a famous Taijutsu expert in Japan, I've always wanted to see it in person." Lev said.

"You mean?"

Lev then took his hand out of his pocket. Stretched his body before he looked at Tatsuya with a smile and said.

"Let's fight, Tatsuya."
