The next day, Lev went to school as usual, although he didnt slept well enough that night cause he need to reevaluate his plans for the future.

As for Shun and the others, they seemed fine even though 3 of them were absent that day, especially Shun and one of the other students who were directly exposed to Lev's Hypertoxin.

Lev wasn't worried that his magic would be revealed, not at all. After all, no one saw him activating his magic because there was no magic activation circle that appeared when he invocate his magic. Even someone like Tatsuya couldn't sense the released Psion of his magic for that particular reason, though it would be a different story if he used Elemental Sight to read Lev's magic sequence in the Information Dimension.

That's a whole another level, one of the reason why 「 Self-Restoration 」is a thing in the first place.

As promised, Lev will meet Mayumi and Mari after school in the Student Council room to discuss about that incident. It was quite strange, because he should have been taken to the disciplinary committee room instead of student council room.

And here he is, standing in front of the Student Council room, holding his bag. When Lev opened the door, he was greeted with a tense, suffocating atmosphere.

' Hm... looks like I've come at the wrong time. ' thought Lev who then stepped in, it seemed that all the student council members were in the room, plus Tatsuya and Miyuki who were also there.

Lev's presence caught everyone's attention, but no one said anything before Mayumi smiled and waved her hand.

"Haiba-kun, please come in!"

Lev closed the door before sitting down on one of the chairs in the room, crossing his legs. He then hinted at everyone to keep going.

Lev didn't know what the problem was but the atmosphere turned awkward because of him. Well, at least he could draw some conclusions based on the tension between Tatsuya and the other guy in front of him.

Tatsuya then smiled faintly, his demeanor was calm and he opened his mouth.

" Its not like i want to join the Disciplinary Committee or anything, but if Its to prove that my little sister's judgment isn't clouded then... "

Tatsuya glanced at Miyuki for a moment before he glared at the man in front of him sharply.

" Let's do it, the fight simulation."

Hearing that, Lev widened his eyes.

' Well that's surely a surprise but a welcome one. ' thought Lev.

Fight simulation, although this definitely wouldn't reveal Tatsuya's true strength. But at least it could expand to let Lev know more about Tatsuya's magic, on a smaller scale.

Although he had personal data from him, but it was clearly far from complete. Only some of the notable abilities that Tatsuya had used in war were listed in the file, such as Material Burst, Self-Restoration etc.

Hearing Tatsuya's words, the man who turned out to be Vice-President Hanzou Hattori clenched his fists.

" Fine... You need to be put in your place anyway. I'll show you the difference between weeds and blooms."

In front of the door of the third practice room, Lev is currently leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. Miyuki was seen standing beside him while putting on a complicated expression. They were currently waiting for Tatsuya to pick up his CAD.

There was silence before Lev opened his mouth and began to speak.

"You don't seem very happy about this fight simulation, Shiba-san. Are you worried about your brother?"

Hearing that, Miyuki shook her head.

"No, it's not that. It's just that I've caused trouble to Onii-sama again."

"So you are sure that he will win against Hattori-senpai?"

Hearing that, Miyuki turned towards Lev, puffing out her cheeks.

"Of course he will win, even though Onii-sama got a low score during the entrance test, but in real battle situation, he can't be defeated by anyone."

Hearing that, Lev smiled.

' Can't be defeated by anyone huh... Well, I'm pretty much agree with that. '

Miyuki then continued her speech.

"You yourself Haiba-kun, do you believe that the results of entrance test reflect one's capability as a magician?" Miyuki asked, she thought it would be quite interesting to hear that answer directly from Lev who was the second highest scorer just behind her.

"Isn't the answer obvious? Magic activation speed is only one of hundreds of aspects of magic usage, basing someone's magical capability on two aspects alone is not an accurate measurement."

Hearing that, Miyuki smiled sweetly like a fangirl who saw her idol get an award or something.

"You're a rare case, Haiba-kun... I can't believe it's the first time we're talking face-to-face despite being in the same class." Miyuki said.

"I mean, with that crowd swarming you every day it must be hard. Isn't that very annoying?"

Miyuki nodded.

" It is, I couldn't have lunch with Onii-sama. But now it's no longer a problem, because Saegusa-senpai allowed us to have lunch in the Student Council room. You yourself, why did you go to the Student Council room today?"

Lev who heard that was silent for a moment before he saw Tatsuya walking from a distance, holding a suitcase in his hand. Its a storage device.

"Look, the champ is here."

Tatsuya then approached them before smiling, patting his little sister's head.

"Sorry for making you wait, Miyuki." He then glanced at Lev who smiled and extended his hand.

"Haiba..."

"Lev is enough. We haven't had a chance to talk that time, Tatsuya." Lev said, Tatsuya who saw it then smiled and shook his hand.

"Shiba Tatsuya, I also wanted to talk with you, Lev. But it looks like we'll have to postpone that for a while."

Lev nodded, the three of them then entered the room, there were already all the student council members plus Mari. While Tatsuya went to prepare his CAD, Lev approached Mayumi.

"Well~ I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Haiba-kun."

"You don't need to apologize, Saegusa-senpai. All you need to do is to convince Watanabe-senpai to drop the charges against me. Then I will forgive you. " Lev said.

"Ah! You don't have to worry about that. We've received a statement from one of the students you attacked yesterday that they've attacked you first. There's no sign of you using any magic anyway, so Mari and I agreed to believe in your words and give punishment to Morisaki and the other four."

Hearing that Lev raised his eyebrows.

"Then why did you summon me to the Student Council room?"

"To invite you into the student council of course!"

"Why?"

"Well~ since you are the highest scorer after Miyuki, although normally only rank one is invited into the student council, but I think it would be better if we had a foreign student representative."

Mayumi's words were supported by Mari's nod, she felt a little guilty for accusing Lev without any evidence.

"So what's your decision, Haiba?" Mari asked. Hanzo, Miyuki and the other two student council members also looked at Lev carefully and waiting for his answer before he said out loud.

"No." Lev said loudly.

"May I know the reason?"

"I don't have time for that," Lev said. Mayumi who heard that quite regretted it, but it was an acceptable reason, so there was nothing she could do.

Unknowingly, Tatsuya had finished preparing his CAD. It was a gun-shaped CAD, Jade-colored with a unique pattern on the surface of Its slide.

But Lev seemed to know what it was.

' Specialized CAD, huh? '

Specialized CAD has the advantage with speed (over Generalized ones), the number of activation sequences that can be used is limited. Specialized CADs can only store nine types of Activation Sequences of a single system of magic, and is originally intended for Magicians who are strong in select/specific type of Magic (from the 4-Systems & 8-Major Types).

Tatsuya used this type of CAD because his abilities weren't good enough to use the generalized one.

Lev's Jörm-69 or Jörmungand XEBAC69;87 was also a Specialized CAD, but it was a thought-controlled type. Although it was a unique case, because its main function was not to speed up magic activation sequences like a normal CAD, but simply for stability. Its a complementary device for Lev's special ability, Insta-Invocation.

"Sorry for making you wait."

Tatsuya faced Hanzo, he's still looks very calm.

As a judge, Mari then started to explain the rules. Basically both of them should not use excessive magic that can kill other participants.

Lev then glanced at Tatsuya and Hanzo who were waiting for Mari's signal.

' In a battle between magicians, the first strike is important. That's why magic activation speed was highly valued in this school and any other magic departement, and it was clear Tatsuya wouldn't be able to match this Hanzo guy in that regard. '

Lev then looked ahead and smiled.

' But in war, it's only one of the deciding factors...'

"Start!"

As Mari shouted, Hanzo without wasting any time immediately started his magic activation but suddenly Tatsuya disappeared from his place and-

Hanzo felt his body shaking, excruciatingly dizzy, and slowly losing consciousness before he fell to the ground. Seeing that, everyone except Lev and Miyuki were shocked.

This was clearly beyond their expectations. And Lev who saw that thought.

' Loop cast of a simple Vibration magic, while adding frequency as a variable along with coordinates, power and duration. Its not like no one has done that, but Its still impressively done. ' Lev thought.

' I'm getting more and more impatient waiting for the day we will face each other, Shiba Tatsuya. '

The room fell silent before Mari announced the winner.

"The winner, Shiba Tatsuya!"
