2 First Impression

Earlier this morning.

Lev is preparing his breakfast in the kitchen, it is his first day at school. Why did he go to the school? To kill a student. Or at least find a way to kill him, he's at his wits end right now.

Lev is seen shirtless in the kitchen wearing only a black briefs, he just finished his shower after a morning workout. He is not a nudist but since he lives alone in this big luxurious house, why not?

Lev then took the salad bowl in his hand and sat at the dining table before suddenly the giant led screen in the living room flashed, it was a call from Anastasia.

{ "Huh, look at you... You really enjoyed the weather there didn't you?" }

Hearing the woman's voice, Lev stopped eating his food and gave Anastasia a formal salute.

"Good morning, ma'am!"

{"Hahaha, you look ridiculous saluting in that outfit, hurry up and change your clothes or you'll be late for school." }

Anastasia laughs, Lev does look stupid at the moment, although he still has a straight deadpan expression. After she stopped laughing, Anastasia then put on a serious expression.

{ "So... Have you found a way to kill him? Something that can nullify his 「 Self-Restoration 」 ability?" }

One thing that makes Tatsuya almost impossible to kill is his ability to copy and rewrite the Eidos from before any damage or harm from external sources were incurred, then using Magic Sequence to rewrite the current Eidos, basically an Immortality.

Lev who had finished his plate stood up.

"Well technically Its not a normal high school. But Its true that I'm pretty excited to meet Shiba Tatsuya in person." Lev said, drinking a glass of water.

Anastasia who heard that just smiled.

Lev looked at his watch, the opening ceremony had just ended and the students were already starting to leave the auditorium. It was a very boring ceremony, and he bet that everyone would also agree with him. Except for the fact that such a beautiful person gave a speech as the new student representative, Shiba Miyuki.

Lev then looked at the students sitting in the top row. In this school there is a kind of caste that divides the students into two groups of people. Blooms and Weeds. Basically, Blooms is the name for the top 50% of people who enter the first highschool, they're included in course 1. While Weeds is the bottom 50% of students who are included in course 2. Its all According to the result of the entrance test.

They also receive a different treatment in the school. And the most striking difference between Blooms and Weeds is the flower emblem on their uniforms.

Lev had to admit that he made a big mistake regarding the entrance test, he thought Tatsuya would be in course 1 considering his status and background. Lev was so surprised when he know that Tatsuya was in course 2.

' If I had known this would happen, I would have held myself back during the entrance test. '

But well, at least he would be in the same class as Miyuki. Class 1-A. Because of that he planned to approach and befriend her, and he would automatically have the opportunity to befriend Tatsuya as well.

As Lev stood up from his chair and walked towards the exit door, he suddenly get tapped on his shoulder from behind.

"Hmm?"

It was two female students, one shorter girl had a deadpan expression on her face, while the other girl with hazel hair was hiding behind her, looking scared?

' Did my face terrify her? ' Lev thought.

Although he was not that handsome but he could confidently say that his face was above average. Moreover, Anastasia often compliments his beautiful eyes.

But if you think about it, it makes sense, compared to these two girls, Lev's body is very tall, he looks like a giant in front of them. 185 cm with a lean athletic body and a few scars on his neck. His height is above the average Japanese adults. The body of a soldier.

"You... Nice to meet you."

The girl with a flat expression spoke English with a Japanese accent, it sounds a little bit weird but still pretty good.

"Yeah good morning to you." Lev said with a fluent Japanese, making both girls widen their eyes, amazed.

"You can speak Japanese."

Lev smiled, making the hazel-haired girl relaxed a little. The three of them fell awkwardly silent before Lev opened his mouth.

"My name is Haiba Lev, you can call me with Lev. I don't mind it." said Lev, he still wasn't used to being called by his fake surname.

"I'm Kitayama Shizuku, the timid girl behind me is Mitsui Honoka. You can also call us by our first names, that's fine."

"Shizuku!..." Honoka patted her friend's back, as she called her that.

"Then Shizuku and Honoka, I assume you two are also in class A?"

Shizuku nodded with a straight face.

"We're friends," he said.

Lev who heard that just smiled. The three of them then chatted with each other as they exited the Auditorium, and when they're outside, their attention was drawn by a crowd of people surrounding a person.

Who else besides Shiba Miyuki.

"Shiba-san is so popular..." Honoka muttered.

"She's gorgeous thats why." Shizuku said nodded. Still with her deadpan voice.

Then, Miyuki suddenly separated herself from the crowd to approach someone. That naturally caught the attention of everyone there. The student with the highest score in the entrance test approached someone from course 2, a weed. Their facial expressions were between bewilderment and ridicule, the discrimination here is unreal.

However, Lev's gaze was different. He finally saw him in person. The man that Miyuki approached was none other than...

' There it is... The Demon of Okinawa. Shiba Tatsuya. '

Tatsuya was a tall man, with black hair and a handsome face. But for Lev, his form and the way he carries himself is just flawless from a soldier's perspective.

' He's looking very sharp as expected, Shiba Tatsuya. '

Meanwhile, while chatting with Miyuki and Mayumi, Tatsuya who noticed the gaze from a distance glanced at the platinum haired man.

Their eyes met and stared at each other for a while before the man smiled at Tatsuya and nodded, Its a greeting. He then left with the two girls behind him. Tatsuya stared at his back for a while, seeming to be thinking about something.

Miyuki who noticed that her brother's attention was distracted by something opened her mouth.

"Nii-sama?"

She then looked back and saw the foreign man she had met in front of the auditorium earlier this morning, walking away.

"Hm, I'm sorry Miyuki." Tatsuya said, coming back to his senses.

"That's fine... But you seem interested in that guy, do you know him?" Miyuki asked, tilting her head.

"No, I don't know him." Tatsuya shook his head.

"Lev Haiba, huh... Well, I wouldn't be surprised if he caught your eye, Tatsuya-kun." Mayumi said. As the school president of First High, of course she knew the data of the new students, especially the students who were ranked high in the entrance test.

"You know him, Senpai?" Erika asked. It was a red haired girl next to Tatsuya.

" Lev Haiba, he is of Russian-Japanese blood, it seems that he moved to Japan due to some family bussiness. The second highest scorer in the entrance test, only behind Miyuki. He is a very talented person... Even the score of his written test are almost equal to you, Tatsuya-kun." Mayumi said, just like Miyuki, she also planned to invite him into the student council.

Meanwhile Miyuki who heard that from Mayumi widened her eyes. Almost equaling his brother in the written test!? It was an amazing feat, Miyuki knew for herself how amazing Tatsuya was, moreover he was the top scorer in the written test.

But for Tatsuya, that's not what caught his attention. It was the look that Lev gave to him. It was very vague, but as a guy who spent his childhood on the battlefield, he was used to that kind of gaze.

'Is it just my feeling...' thought Tatsuya.

But he decided to ignore it for now.

And unbeknownst to Lev, his plan had taken a step forward by accident.
