The Rupture II

Arist Drakk Pov:

"Rally to me!" There were chaos everywhere and everywhere I looked the three hundred strong army I brought were being slaughtered.

I have lost my daughter among the carnage the Reinmakers left, as I called my men arrows came flying at me striking me in the shoulder and leg but yet I still perceive calling my troops.

"We are gonna be slaughtered" I though, then on the other side of the field I saw my daughter fighting three different people before a mass of arrows put her down.

"NOOO!" I yelled and tried to run over to where my daughter is, as I got there she was coughing up a mouthful of blood with the look of horror on her face.

I put my hands on her face as tears starts to flow, "I am sorry daughter, I will get vengeance for you" then she goes limp.

"I have to get away from here" I slowly gathered my courage to leave my daughters corpse but as I look everywhere for a way out but my hope slowly faded as I saw that there was nowhere.

"KNEEWWWW" I locked back and All I saw was a horse and a butt of a spear coming towards me and everything goes black.

Margaret Reinmakers pov:

This was my first battle and there was so much chaos among the enemy, I have my pick of the enemy.

wherever I went men and women fell , my spear that moment to me was a beast being ridden by fate and my will to bring destruction to them.

I never knew that my brother was such a tactician and that these troops were brought along were so unique and disciplined.

Everything they did from the ambush to the flanking maneuver was beautiful it was like an art.

I was given the rank of sergeant by Ian and I ordered my troops to spread out and slaughter.

As I slaughtered my enemy I saw a single woman trying to rally her troops towards her but was suddenly striked by multiple arrows.

"That armor?" I found a Drakk!" to bad she was pierced already but not to long I saw another woman run to the Fallen Drakks wearing armors only nobles wear.

My luck suddenly change I though and If I could take her prisoner the better, as she was looking around her for a way to escaped a ran my horse as fast as I can towards her. That look she gave me when she turned around, was a look of release.

Not long after the battle ended and the piles of bodies we gather were enourmous. We we're ordered to take away their valubles and then bury them, I did'nt want to do it but my brother told me that I must listen to the chain of command and while I am in this army I am a part of that chain.

We had to bury most of the Drakks, out of three hundred men two hundred and seventy are dead the rest are severely wounded or are incapacitated.

As I looked to see where my brother is, I saw many people over the hill watching us. "Were they enemies?"

"Hold up Ma'am" I looked at it was my commanding officer Captain Cheric.

"Lord Ian told us there were gonna be a retinue of Saggs and that they are supposed to be our guest" he implied

"Lord?"

"Yes your brother told us that's his new title" now "Carry on with your duties" he pointed at the dead bodies and I was put to work burying the dead.

Ian Reinmakers Pov:

I rode towards the Saggs with a retinue of my own and a smile on my face.

"Welcome!" "Welcome!" I humbly greeted them.

"Did you enjoy the show?" as many of them were still in shock as to what had transpired.

We had introductions and we slowly went towards the battlefied, The Saggs must place an important value on us if they sent both their sons over here.

"So what brings the Saggs over here? and why bring so few men? you know the world is a dangerous place right now" I started a little chat with them.

They all started nodding at every word I said, they must not want to anger me and share the same fate of the Drakks.

"Do you know , with this I have wiped out a third of the Drakks army?"

They looked at me suspiciously but I continued on, so if you want an alliance I want a guarantee that we are gonna be equal partners but before that.

"Lord Ian please wait"

A captain came towards me.

"Your sister has captured a Drakk and she looks like a noble sir"

I smiled at the captain "Thank you captain, chain her and make her walk", "when we get back we will interrogate her".

He saluted and left, "Okay Ladies and Gentlemen where were we?".

The march back to our agropolis was peaceful and as soon as I settled the Saggs I went to the dungeon.

"There was a woman I the dungeon in chains and she looked at me with much hate.

"You bastard!" "Give me back my sons and daughter" she tried to reach out to me but was held in chains.

"This is what happens when you get to greedy!" I pointed at her "This is what happens when you treat yor vassals like animals!" "this is what happens when you bleed them dry!.."

"She started crying "We did not kill your uncle".

"Prove it" I told her

"strength makes right in your eyes right?" "the right to think you're better than everyone?" "well who is better now"

I left the the dungeon to give her some time to reflect to what her family has done to so many people and headed towards where the Saggs where to find an acceptable arrangement between us and them.

As I got there , every Saggs stood up "Lets us begin"
