Chaos III

Gene Toroch pov:

"BANG!BANG!BANG!" the enemy shield echo throughout the field, I saw the look of hunger in their eyes and it set a fire within me.

"That boy created this army" I looked at them with delight and appreciation.

"AXEMEN!, CELTIC SWORDSMAN! FORWARD!" I pointed at the front.

"GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT!" My beloved troops were full of blood lust from the enemy provocation began it's slow march.

Ain pov:

They are sending their elites in finally, if we can beat these they will eventually send the rest of their army.

The axemen and celtic swordsman began their slow-march but they were smart, before they got into range of the archers they already began their charge but none the less many of them fell by our volleys or tripped on the caltrops causing massive confusion against the enemy.

"The front! wedge formation!" within the wedge if you cannot break it you are susceptible to attacks within the sides not just the front.

"Crossbowmen, get on top of each other, cavalry archers move in to support!" the higher you are the better angle you have.

One of the crossbowman were loading while the other two were holding one up and passing the loaded bow to them.

The cavalry already had a vantage point to shoot from, I also made the spear cavalry dismount and become reserve, just in case.

The clash happened and both side started pushing and shoving trying to get the advantage, The first to break was the axemen, the two handed axes they wielded left they vulnerable to attacks and with such little space they couldn't swing their axes then the celtic swordman broke.

The level and equipment different started to show in this battle and it was a delight.

I decided to strike while the iron was hot, "CHARGE!, TROO!"I blew the horn and my army started moving forward causing more devastation and damage to the retreating enemy. I called the spear cavalry to support the attack, they were dismounted because of the uneven and muddy ground but they would be useful as support.

The retreating enemy ran and hollered at their lines the results was the remaining enemy coming to their rescue, but it did not go as expected the retreating enemy became caught in a the battle between their forces and ours resulting of many of them dying and tying up their own lines.

The mass confusion on their lines slowly spread everywhere causing massive miscommunication and we took advantage of it, we charge and filled the enemies gaps really quickly therefore creating more gaps and some of their lines started to bend and then they broke.

Misze Toroch pov:

Our lines broke, I was trying to rally whoever was closes to me then I caught sight up the man and Decided to rush forward but was caught up by the enemies spearman. I started hacking and slashing the enemy but to no avail, their shields and armors were to strong.

"HOLD! I want this one. A single spear-man walked towards me, and she threw me a spear and threw her shield down. My name is Margaret Reinmaker and I admire your soldiers for this battle, I would like to have a duel with you.

"Reinmaker.." I accept" , I did not hesitate,, I was actually really eager to fight another Reinmaker.

We started circling each other and I trusted my spear towards her and she parried it with a swipe but halfway after parrying it she stepped forward with her back legs an trusted. I almost did not see it coming, I jumped backwards, and we started circling each other again.

She attacked again but this time she lowered her spear towards the ground but I though I was ready for it.

She pulled it upwards carrying mud on it and it splashed my face and I felt a cheering pain in my leg , but I grabbed her spear before she could pull and and trusted my spear towards her.

She let go of the spear and jump backwards and rushed me "SHE'S LIKE THAT BASTARD!" was the last though in my mind before everything went dark.

Ian Reinmaker pov:

The enemy was in full retreat, but there was mass confusion among them, some in the back was still trying to move forward.

My soldiers slaughtered everyone that would not surrender , eventually the field became clear of all the enemies. There were piles of bodies staked up over each over and the wounded crying.

I looked at my army with pride, we were left mostly in tact but I saw the fatigue in everybody eye, we were not gonna make it to Numes today and the Saggs are gonna have to hold together for awhile longer.

I decided to make camp on the ravine, after sending the scouts and pickets out I started getting reports of the death toll.

One hundred men over a thousand , it was such a relief considering we fought an army six times of our size and won.

The enemy count about three thousand , they might not recover from this defeat, considering most of their elites are dead.

"Brother or Commander I mean" I turned around and it was my sister and my mother. They were carrying a prisoner "Misze Toroch, well be my guest" I pointed a seat and she gave me a chilling cold glare before sitting down.

"So this is your family, they are very good warriors" she smiled at them but she continued to give me the stare afterwards.

"Where were you? ,I did not see you on the field today?" ,"What were you doing?" , "Coward " , "You call yourself a man!". she started berating me and my mother and sister both had a dumbstruck look om their face before both of them burst out laughing, looking like they were about to cry from the pain of laughter.

"EH?!" what is happening right now, this woman is my prisoner and I'm being lectured by her? , what has happened to the world.

"ANSWER ME!" "ANSWER ME NOW!" she started grabbing my stuff and started throwing them at me.

"GOOD LUCK COMMANDER!" "hehehe" both my sister and mother left giggling.

I was left dumbstruck myself at the situation occurring in my tent right now, my guards heard the ruckus and rushed inside, just to be met with fire and fury of this savage woman,
