3 ~Ray~

Once we had gotten inside we sat by the fire with his arm comfortably around my shoulder holding me close, I loved his sent it smelled like pumpkin spice and a strong whiff of the seaside.

"Ray.." he said in his scruffy mysterious voice he used only when he was serious about something or someone which made me go crazy inside, I don't know why but I got butterflies.

"Yes?" I said in a hushed voice hoping he couldn't tell what I was thinking based off of where my eyes were wandering, looking at the jaw line made my eyes hurt I mean who could look so damn hot?

"Do you want to find your mate...?" He applied pressure in this question as if he almost knew my answer already but needed clarification.

"Of course I do but.. I don't think I will find him because I can smell them..." I said in a soft voice hoping I wasn't loud enough for him to hear me.

"I can help you find him" he said sympathetically as if I was a 9 year old girl seeking for her prince that didn't seem to be coming, we began to have conversations about our dream mates and come to think of it we practically talked until we fell asleep well I did I fell asleep on his shoulder not noticing I was too busy dreaming about my mate but I couldn't see him I could feel his presence and we talked but it wasn't like a conversation I would have with Ace which made it all the more special to me.
