For the Memory
The drive to the airport was quiet. Emily found herself looking at Eric from time to time. She knew her decision was a double-edged sword.
"I have told you before, you can look at me openly," Eric said. Although he had his head lowered he could feel her gaze on him now and then.
Emily's face turned hot, she did not expect him to notice her action. "what is there to see, is not like you are some... Nothing out of the ordinary," Emily swallowed her embarrassment and argued.
Eric smiled when he heard the hint of embarrassment in her voice. He then raised his head and looked at her.
"What?" Emily felt tense with his gaze suddenly on her.
"I Just think that looking at you is the most beautiful scene I can ever behold," Eric answered. Emily felt her breath seized.
She would never have imagined that he would say that. She hated herself for always losing her cool when she was with him.
