Fated to be enemies
Amy bit her lips when she heard the question. It was indeed her understanding after she listened to him. Since he took the initiative to confess, Amy did not think he would lie to her, so she believed everything he said. Could it be that he was lying, and there she was, trying to put a good word for him?
She could never wash her hands clean in the situation. It was her choice to share a little more details with him.
Amy felt stupid; she liked Peter, so her brain seemed to go on a break when the two spoke. "not exactly his words, but I thought he should be honest when he took the initiative to confess," Amy bites on her lips. Peter had no reason to lie since he took the initiative to confess.
But then again, he told the story so well that one saw him as a victim, judging by how he told the company's secret to outsiders. If Amy could, she would go back in time and not mention Peter.
