15 Chapter 15 To reach to her

When they were done with giving their orders, Tang Moyu kept looking at him and she wondered what he was thinking about. "Uh, so are you going back to the States?" she asked trying to create a conversation. "No. I moved here permanently," he replied. "That is great. I heard that you're taking up a medical course," she said. "Yes. That is true," he replied and that moment, their food was brought.

Amidst their eating, he asked," Do you remember the girl who was Tang Ning's best friend in school? The one she used to walk with."

She pursed her lips and replied," Somehow, why?" "What was her name?" he asked. "I can't remember that. She was her friend not mine."

"What about her home or workplace? Or any of her friends?" "I don't remember anything about her," she answered. She inwardly cursed. She couldn't believe that he was still intent on finding her. But she thought that he will soon give up. "I think we should respect Tang Ning's decision. She chose to run away with her lover and we should let her be," she added.

He continued with his food, and internally he was thinking that if he checks with his old schoolmates, he wouldn't fail to reach to her.

After the food, Feng Shufen informed her that he was driving her back to her home and although she wanted to protest, she decided not to because she didn't want to be clingy at the first time. Parking in front of their house, she said," Let me hope we shall get to do this more often." "I will see about that because I will start being busy from tomorrow," he said. "Alright. I will be waiting though," she said and before she could open to leave, she turned to him and said," Let me have your contact."

"Oh yes," he said and read the digits to her.

"When you find out anything about Tang Ning or her best friend, please let me know," he informed. "Alright," she replied smiling. "Even when she communicates, tell me right away. Have a nice time," he said and she nodded before opening the door and stood outside watching as he left their residence.

...

"I didn't think you would ever neglect me this much," complained Tang Ning as she folded her clothes while placing them in the closet. "Don't talk like that. You have no idea how busy the hospital has been," replied Daiyu on the other line. "Tell me your excuse. I'm here to listen," she said. "The hospital was bought by someone else and he's officially coming in next week," she replied.

"And so?" asked Tang Ning. "So, we've been very busy. Tell me, how is everything going? How's your handsome but unlucky boss?"

"Oh my goodness what are you saying?! Everything is alright this side. How about you," she replied. "I'm good but kinda stressed," she replied. "How?"

"We are just hoping that the new CEO won't be strict. You know how they can be wanting to prove a point," she said. "I get but I don't think he will change much. Life global is already an established hospital and nothing much needs to be changed about it," she said. "I'm hoping the same thing," she replied.

As she was still on phone, her door opened and little Huan came in then climbed her bed waiting for her to get done. When the call ended, she walked to the bed and said," I thought you were sleeping." "I want to ask you something," said little Huan. "Go ahead," she replied. "Where's heaven?" she asked. "Heaven? Why do you ask?" "I want to find my mommy. Aunt Fang told me that she went to heaven and that she will come back but she's taking so long," she said.

Tang Ning's heart ached for her. She took a while to say, "I don't think any of us can go there. But I'm sure that she will come back when the time is right." "But, my friend at school told me that if a person goes to heaven then she will never come back. Is it true?" "No. Your mommy will definitely come back. Do you think she can resist such adorable kids like you two?" "You think so?" she asked. "Of course," she replied.

Three days passed and on one weekend afternoon, Tang Ning and the twins were in little Huan's room while she was teaching them about essay writing. "You should both take your time. I want to see who has been listening to my instructions," she told them before they started.

A while later, she heard a knock on the door and it was opened to reveal a beautiful and elegant woman.

Her long black wavy hair was left to sway at the back and she was clad in a black knee length dress. "Hey," she said to gain the twins' attention whose concentration was in their books. On hearing the voice, they immediately turned their heads and on seeing her, they both ran to her. "Aunt FeiFei!" they called and she scooped them in her arms.

"How are the most beautiful twins in the whole universe?" she asked. "Bad. You've taken so long without seeing us," complained little Huan. "I know baby and it's why I am here to make up for it," she replied. "Where's Meiling?" asked Juan. "They are in the car," she replied before looking at the girl in the room and offered her a smile then said," Hello."

"Hi. I am Tang Ning their new nanny," she Tang introduced. Looking at the woman, Tang Ning felt as though she had seen her before but couldn't tell where exactly.

"I'm Jin Fei. Nice to meet you," she replied. "The pleasure is mine."

"Aren't they troubling you?" she asked. "Not at all. They are very nice children." "Aunt FeiFei, I want to see Meiling," interrupted Juan. "You are going to see her and actually, I am taking you with me," she informed them and Tang Ning frowned. What did she mean by that? "Really?!" asked Juan excitedly and she nodded. "Can we go to the car now?" asked Huan who couldn't contain her excitement any longer.
