Elijah. 'Sir, aren't you tired?" Cara asked me and I looked up from what I was doing. It was then that I realized that the day passed on. I'm fine cara, head home i will lock up before leaving." I said to her, 'Okay, goodbye sir." She left and the breeze coming through every open door hit my nose and I smelled blood.

For some reason I was reluctant to find out if anyone was hurt or not! These mother fucker's forgot my birthday, as the soon Alpha of the Lone Moon Pack. I'm the only Alpha without a mate and I turned 25 and yet I'm still single. My phone suddenly rings and I put it on speaker after answering.

'Solo, my friend, what are you doing?" he asked and I hung up! I turned off the computer and left, for some reason dad thought it was a great idea for us wolves to have a life outside the pack, among the humans. So, it was decided and as the soon to be Alpha i get to decide who goes out to build a life among the humans.

And of course i choose myself as well, for i hate to be nag about finding a mate or mating someone. I came and started a business. Within five years i'm yet to find my mate, then when the beta said they won't mind even if she's human.

But I found no one that attracts my or my wolf. How great is that? Just great. I decided to go for a run but if i walk, i will have to take the nearest path to the forest and the best thing is there's not much humans living there.

"Ahh! I'm sorry I didn't see you there." Her voice sounded soft and adorable. I just stood there, staring at her not realizing what Max was doing. While we are in public and among humans. Then she screamed out!

"Happy Birthday to you" she smiled and my heart stopped. I received it from a stranger. Thank you for the wishes." I thanked her. When she looked down, blushing, I felt the need to smile back at her!

"Are you playing halloween? Why did your eyes suddenly turn red? Weirdo?" she asked. You are drunk, aren't you? I asked her, she giggled a little. "Yes, I'm drunk and you are a vampire which means I am going to die." She said to me, and then tears appeared in her eyes.

No, you won't. I won't let you-' A sudden torturing bolt of pain hit my chest. They became more unbearable as if it was getting stronger, just like when mom died. I can't bear it, it's too much. Ah! Stop crying please." I begged her and that's when I realized Max was trying to shift us right there.

Max, what are you doing? I asked my wolf but before he could she spoke. "I knew you were crazy, it's just us two and where is this Max?" she said to me and ask who is man. Leaning downwards I looked at her coloured black glass slipper and noticed my eyes reflection. "What's wrong with you? I stopped crying."

She asked me before informing her to stop crying, she squatted down looking up at me. She touched me, a gentle touch feeling so soft and Max lost it. I stood up immediately and ran across the road. There were enough bushes to hide me. I woke up from the heat of the sun, when my morning had long passed.

Max where are we?'' I asked him and he replied to me. I don't know and I don't care.' What's wrong with you?" I asked him, but he refused to talk to me. Okay, don't talk to me but tell me where my clothes are?" I asked him after I realized that I was naked. I'm a fucking public figure among the humans , Max where the fuck is my clothes.

Seeing that he would not speak, I got mad and asked him for my clothes. I don't know and don't talk to me." He said to me just before he cut our link, i can't hear him but he could hear me if he wishes to hear. Even though I was tired, I felt like I had a lot of energy coming from somewhere.

My body felt like I was overpowered and it's burning me up inside. I got up and started walking, hours passed and I came up behind the pack house. When I reached for the door handle I heard the alarms going off! My body was hot like I was on fire. When I tried to open them I could feel them panicking from the alarms. 'What the hell happened to you?

I heard my aunt's voice and turned my head to look at her, she was standing in safe distance from me with an uncertain look in her eyes. Help me! I said before losing consciousness. What the fuck has happened to my son? Who did this to you? Get up and talk to me!" my father asked and you could tell he was angry.

Max, what did you do?" I questioned him but he kept quiet for a while. It's not what I did but what you did!' he said to me. What did I do or what did we do? Max, you better start talking right now." I asked him and said tell him to speak now. I am here, oh! Ah! Whoa, no I'm going home." I couldn't really put a name to the voice, but everything went silent. Like I have gone deaf!

Maloney, tell me what is wrong with my son? You're not a full blood like his mother was but please, do something, anything." Maloney, started whispering enchanting words as she walks closer to Elijah. Then suddenly she started coughing up blood! She quickly stepped away from him, and began to heal herself. She looked back at Elijah's father.

Mr. Magrond, I think Elijah ran into his mate.
