14 Chapter Fourteen

Stella

I haven't been to work for about five days now since what happened. Since what Daryl told me. I still couldn't believe him. He tried to blackmail me, something I didn't expect. There was a ton of things I didn't expect; like the fact that Amanda wasn't good enough to please him in bed.

Right now I was staying at my apartment. Brad had been calling me but I hadn't picked up one of his calls. I'll just have to explain everything to him later.

I heard a knock before there was a sound of my door being opened. I left my room in a hurry wondering who was so presumptuous to enter my place like that. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the one guy I didn't want to see. Daryl. He was standing at my door with his hands in his pocket.

He started walking up to me taking very slow steps. He was dressed casually in jeans and a blue button up shirt. His hair looked perfectly neat and his sweet perfume got stronger the closer he came to me.
