Chapter 5

"Miss Adair? Why are you staring at me?"

'Fuck! He noticed me. But why was I staring at him?' She think and Aidan gets her out of her perverted thoughts.

"Miss Hazel? Will you carry me please?" Her ocean of cuteness asks her with puppy dog eyes. Her heart went all oops!

"Why are so you cute?!" She exclaims and picks him up. She peppers his chubby cheeks with kisses. Aidan was giggling so much. She could see Mr. Anderson grinning from the couch. 'Oh my Gawd! His smile is so cute! It's worth falling for!' Hazel thought before he approached her and Aidan.

"I'll be leaving now. Aidan, be a good boy for Daddy and don't trouble Miss Hazel." He says and kisses his son's cheek and forehead. When he was doing that, his face was so close to hers! She could literally smell his woody cologne. She felt her cheeks heating up.

"Miss Adair?" he faces her.

"Mr. Anderson, please call me Hazel. You too Aidan. I feel old when you call me Miss." She said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Okay Hazel." they say in unison and smile. 'Their smiles are exactly the same! Like father, like son.' She thought and grinned.

"Bye baby! See you later!" he kisses Aidan again and waves at him. Hazel and Aidan wave back at him. Hazel closes the door with her free hand as Aidan was in her arms.

"You hungry Sweetheart?" She asks, stroking his hair out of his forehead and he nods. She smiles and heads for the kitchen. 'What a modern kitchen!' She thought as she sits Aidan on the stool in front of the counter.

"So, what do you wanna have?" She asks Aidan, leaning on the counter. He taps his chin with his index finger and thinks.

"How about fried rice with scrambled eggs?" he says, nervously. She smiled and ruffled his brown fluffy hair.

"Fried rice with scrambled eggs it is." She says taking out a pan.

After like 15 minutes, I'm done making fried rice for Aidan and me.

"Wow! It smells amazing, Hazel!" He says grinning. She smiles and passes his plate and spoon to him. He eats with satisfaction beaming on his cute face.

"Aidan eat slowly. You'll choke if you eat so fast." Hazel says with concern.

"Thish ish sho good! I jush can't stob eating it!" he says with his mouth stuffed with rice. Hazel laughs and takes a tissue to wipe his mouth.

"Eat slowly. It's not running away. Here have some water." She said, pouring water in his glass.

"This was so~ good! You are an amazing cook Hazel!" He says with a huge smile on his face.

"Why? Didn't you previous babysitters make you good food?" She asked with her eyebrows furrowed a bit. He shook his little head and rested his head on his palm.

"Their food was nasty. They really did not take care of me. They used to stare at my daddy like creeps!" he frowns.

'They take this babysitting job for Mr. Anderson not Aidan.' She thought.

"Hazel?" he knocks Hazel out of her thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"I wanna take a bath. I haven't taken a bath yet. I wanna play too." He says.

"You wanna play? Okay, let's go to your room." Hazel said while picking him up. He rests his head on her shoulder.

"You smell like vanilla and peach." Aidan mumbles. Hazel smiles to herself and walks to his room. She opens the door and puts him down.

"Can you bathe me Hazel? Please?" He says rubbing his neck with his baby hand, nervously.

"Sure! Let's get your outfit ready first." Hazel said and he nods, with a wide smile on his face.

"You wanna wear something comfy?" She asks taking out a sweatshirt.

"I wanna wear that" Aidan says as he points at a onesie. It was baby blue shark onesie. Hazel was awestruck at how cute it looks.

"Let's get your bath ready now!" She says picking him up and heading to his bathroom. The bathroom was blue theme. Blue sharks and fishes, bubbles and all... It was as cute as his room.

She opens the tap of his bath and checks the temperature as the water ran. It was warm enough for Aidan. She asked Aidan where his shampoo and bath foam was. He went to his bathroom cabinet and brought her those. Hazel kissed his forehead and thanked him.

She prepared his bath and called him. She helped him with his clothes and got him in his bathtub. He plays with the bubbles as Hazel shampooed his hair and scrubbed his body. Hazel bopped his nose with some bubble and he giggles. He plays with bubbles for some more time as she gets his towel ready.

"Aidan, time to get out." Hazel says and Aidan immediately gets up. She washed his bubbles away and wrapped him with the towel. She tells him to wait in his room until she cleaned the mess in the bathroom.

In about 5 minutes, she cleaned the bathroom and goes to Aidan. She smears lotion on his body and helps him with his shark onesie. Hazel then blow dries his hair after gets her his blow dryer.

He gets his toys out and they play together. Hazel takes photos of him and her while playing. They played all evening. She made him dinner later.

"Hazel? Can you feed me please?" Aidan asks her politely while playing games in her phone.

"Sure baby." She says as she takes his plate and starts to feed. After he finished, she washed the dishes and cleaned up.

"Hazel. I'm tired." Aidan yawns rubbing his eyes.

"Okay. It's almost your bedtime. Let's go and tuck you in your bed." Hazel tells him as scoops him up in her arms. Aidan buries his head in the crook of her neck. Hazel walks to his room and opens the door with her free hand. She lays him down on his bed and covers his small body with his blanket.

"Hazel, bedtime story." Aidan says with droopy eyes. Hazel smiles and takes out a book from his book shelf. She sits on the edge of his bed and starts to read him his book. Gradually, she could hear him snore softly. His lips were in a pout as his hand was in a fist under his cheek. Hazel kissed his forehead and quietly cleans up his room. Suddenly, she hears footsteps. She dims the lights of Aidan's and gets out.

The footsteps were coming closer and closer as Hazel was able to hear them in the moonlit corridor. And suddenly those footsteps, stopped behind her...
