8 CHAPTER 8 - BONDING

"Who is Jin?" I asked.

"Y/n, you'll be shocked to meet him. Let it be a surprise for you." - Jimin replied.

Jungkook made us some ramyun for dinner. It was delicious. Jimin helped me get all my things into my new room. It was getting late so everyone decided to go sleep. I did the same.

I couldn't fall asleep though. So much has happened in the last few days, my brain just couldn't stop thinking about it. I decided to go out and get some fresh air. I also like star gazing, so I got up and went out.

The cool breeze of fresh air made my nerves calm down. The stars looked beautiful in the sky. I sat on a small bench and which was on the left. I felt so calm.

I sat there quietly for a good 15 minutes. Then someone came out of the penthouse. I looked up and it was Jungkook. He exhaled deeply and looked up at the stars. He didn't seem to notice me.

"J-Jungkook?" -I said.

"Huh-" he looked in my direction and came towards me. "What are you doing out here?"

"I couldn't sleep so I came here to get some fresh air." I replied.

He nodded and sat on the bench with me. We both looked up at the stars. There was silence for a very long time. Then I decided to say something, "What happened that day?"

"You should've just gone when I told you." He said in a serious tone. There was a pause and then he said, "I know you saw me using my power."

Power? Like superpower?

"I am different y/n, now you know my secret. I cannot just let you go without making sure you wouldn't reveal it to anyone." He said in a low voice.

"I-" I paused for a minute, then said,"What is your power?"

"I can produce electricity through my hands, which is why I always wear gloves. I know it sounds impossible but it's something like, I can generate electricity and provide power to any electronic gadget. My power wasn't like this before, it has developed over time and my hyungs think that I can increase it more."

I was silent. I didn't know how to react or what to say. After a good long silence, I asked, "What about your parents? Do they know about your power?"

He didn't say anything.

"They died." He said very coldly. "After they died, I got this power."

"I'm so-"

"No don't. Let's not talk about it." He interrupted me.

We stayed silent and stared at the stars. After sometime, we both were feeling sleepy so we went inside.

I got to my room and checked my phone for any messages. There were many from Mom and Sofia. I decided I'll reply to them later as it was 1 am already. I got in my comfy bed and soon fell asleep.

NEXT MORNING:

I woke up to the sound of someone shouting. I got out of bed, looked myself in mirror and kind of fixed my hair which was still a mess after fixing.

I went out and saw V shouting. I saw why he was. The kitchen was on fire.

Kitchen was on fire.

Jungkook came behind me. As soon as he saw the fire, he rushed back in. Within a couple of seconds, he came out with a fire extinguisher and put out the fire.

Wow. Good morning y/n. I thought to myself.

"This is the 3rd time in the last 2 months Tae." Jungkook said in angry tone.

"But I was hungry. And I love cooking food-" v replied

"YAH! WHY ARE YOU GUYS SHOUTING AND TALKING SO LOUDLY EARLY IN THE MORNING?" Yoongi said as he came out. He's been sleeping since yesterday I think.

"Suga hyung, V hyung started a fire again."

Wow. Totally something I would do as well. But Sugar? Who that?

"Aniya Yoongi hyung!" V said.

Yoongi is Sugar? How?

"Sugar?" I asked.

"Not sugar. It's Suga." Jungkook said.

Oh. Yeah, Yoongi doesn't seem like sugar anyway.

"I miss Jin hyung so much." Jungkook said.

Suga went back to his room.

I stood there looking at V who had his head down.

"I'll make breakfast for everyone." Jungkook said.

V immediately smiled. I smiled too.

I went to take a shower and freshen up. After I came, I wore a pretty pink dress. Honestly, I don't even like pink but I just wore it.

The smell of delicious pancakes filled my nose as I entered the kitchen where V was sitting on the table and Jungkook was flipping a pancake.

I sat with V and said, "Good morning,"

V smiled and wished me too.

I saw a very sleepy and messy haired Jimin enter the kitchen.

"Mhm, pancakes," he said. He was still in his PJs. As soon as he saw me, he shouted, "Y/N! OHMAHGOD. WHYDIDICOMELIKETHIS KSKSKSKS!" And ran.

Three of us looked at each other.

I asked V, "What happened to Jimin?"

"He is embarrassed because you saw him in his PJs and messy hair."

I chuckled.

Jungkook served us pancakes and we all started eating. After a few minutes Jimin and Yoongi came. However Jimin this time was looking gorgeous and Yoongi was in the same messy state as before.

"Jin hyung called. He'll come tonight. Although he was gone only for 3 days and we still saw him at school, I do miss him" Jimin said as he and Yoongi sat on the breakfast table.

We all ate the delicious pancakes that Jungkook made. I helped Jimin in washing the dishes, although he wanted me to rest. After that I went back to my room and replied to my Mom's and Sofia's texts saying that I'm fine.

I thought I'd go to school from tomorrow.

Jungkook and Jimin left for school. Yoongi went for work. Leaving me and V.

V was going to go somewhere but they decided to not leave me alone at home when I'm not fully recovered.

V and I decided to play video games together.
