2 CHAPTER 2 - THE ROOFTOP

Mr. Kim turned around, now facing the boy and still blocking my view.

"Oh you are the new student right? Come in.", He said.

Great timing! Everyone except me is now looking at him and not me. I also don't have to say what I did during my vacation. Which was mostly sleeping.

Finally Mr. Kim moves aside, revealing a very tall, handsome, brown haired boy with beautiful brown eyes. His cheeks are tinted pink as everyone is starring him. I assume he is very shy type. Not to mention, he is the most handsome guy at school now. I turn around, to see all the girls practically drooling.

The shy boy looks down avoiding the gazes of everyone who is starring at him.

"Introduce yourself", said Mr. Kim.

"Hey, My name is Jungkook." - he said

"Aaanndd?" Mr. kim asks expecting a little bit more than just his name.

"Oh right! I'm not looking forward to make any new friends so, ignore me." -he replied

Mr. Kim sighed. "Go and sit wherever you want" he said.

As if he was waiting to run from all the stares, he rushes to the last seat where no one else is there and sits there.

Wow.

Just WOW. Totally normal behaviour (note the sarcasm).

Mr. Kim started full on teaching. Maybe today he wasn't in a very good mood. But heard him cracking some dad jokes in between the lesson. I didn't hear anything about what he was teaching as I was busy daydreaming. Finally an eternity later the bell rang, it's break time now.

Sofia immediately rushed to me. "We have to somehow talk to him!" -she said.

"No. YOU want to talk to him. But you can't and so you want me to talk to him instead" -I corrected.

"Okay so now go and talk." -she said

"No way. Not at all after that amazing introduction." - I replied thinking about what he said.

"Come on , look that girl is going to talk to him." -she said as we saw Rose with her pets Julia and Clara approach Jungkook.

"So, I know you want my number and you are very shy to ask for it" she said, "So here's my number" she pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket and held it out for him to take.

" I don't think you understand what 'having no friends and ignoring' mean" and with that, Jungkook walked past shocked Rose and her pets.

Rose is the captian of cheerleading team. Every guy in our school likes her. She never got rejected before. She has an attitude and always bullies other girls. I am actually surprised that finally someone showed her the mirror of reality. She always gets what she wants, not this time though.

I can see her face burning in anger. I am trying my hardest to hold my laughter back. Sofia pulls me out of the classroom and we both burst out laughing.

"Omg she finally got rejected." Sofia said.

"Now only if someone can treat her the way she treats all the other girls, this day would be the best day of school in the entire history." I replied.

We decide to go to the cafeteria, I as usual go to the rooftop alone while Sofia picks out lunch for both of us. I like the wind blowing, the silence and peace on the rooftop. I always go there during the break time.

As I reached the rooftop, immediately the wind hits me. It's so nice here I don't want to go downstairs ever. I walk up to the edge and take a deep breath of fresh air, sunshine perfectly hitting my face, my hair blowing in the wind and most importantly, silence.

"Do you come here often?" I hear a familiar male voice from behind me. I turned around to see who else came to the rooftop. It was Jungkook, looking even more attractive with the sunshine making his skin glow, his hair dancing in the wind and his brown eyes shining beautifully.

"Can you hear me?" -he said.

"Oh yeah. I mean yeah, I come here daily. Why do you ask?" I replied.

"To make sure I don't run into someone again. Looks like I need to search for some other place to stay alone." - he said in a kind tone.

No matter how good looking he is and how politely he speaks, it still doesn't change the meaning of the words he says. Although he is trying to be kind, his choice of words isn't that good.

"Never mind I only come here for a few minutes" - I said.

I inhaled one last deep breath and then exhaled. Then I started walking towards the stairs that's when I saw his hands, he was wearing gloves. Why would anyone wear gloves? Especially those gloves didn't look like fancy ones, they looked like they were made of rubber or plastic material. I ignored it went downstairs.

I immediately spot Sofia talking to a boy. I approach them, she was talking to Jimin. He is very cute and sweet type of boy. Sofia had a crush on him before Jungkook came.

"Hey" I said.

"Oh, hi Y/n" he replied in a very sweet tone.

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked Sofia hinting a little bit of teasing type of tone in my voice.

Her cheeks flushed red.

"We were talking about you" -Jimin said.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"Come on Y/n, break time will end soon let's go and eat" Sofia whined.

"Okay let's go. Bye Jimin" I said.

We both went and sat down with our lunches. While eating she said that Jimin was asking Sofia about me. He asked what subjects I like. Then I told about how I saw Jungkook on the rooftop. I also told her about his weird gloves, which she totally didn't notice before cause her eyes are always glued to his face.

After that we talked about other random things and then the bell rang. We got up to go back to our class.
