10 CHAPTER 10 - HOPE

I finally felt sleepy so I decided to go to sleep. It was already 12:30 am. I slept peacefully.

I woke up around 6 am when I heard some muffled sounds coming from the hallway. I kept an alarm of 6:30 am, I was annoyed that I couldn't get more half an hour of my precious sleep. However, I went to freshen up because I looked like a mess and I didn't want to go out like this.

After I was done, I decided to wear a green hoodie with black jeans. I looked myself in the mirror, I looked pretty decent except for my hair. I put my hair into a decent ponytail. I went out.

I saw Taetae arguing with Jin. But they were speaking slowly so they don't wake the others up.

"Nooo, pancakes!!!" Taetae said.

"Ramyunnn!!!" Jin replied.

"Pancakes."

"Ramyun."

They both didn't even notice I was there.

I cleared my throat. They both looked at me.

"What is going on?", I asked.

"You are not wearing pink today?" Jin asked me.

"Jin hyung's favourite colour is pink." Taetae said.

Oh.

"Hyung, let's ask y/n what we should eat for breakfast." V said.

"Okay, tell me, pancakes or ramyun?" - Jin asked.

I didn't know what to say. I was thinking so deeply that if I choose one, I might hurt the other. I still had to decide.

"Sandwiches!" I exclaimed.

They both looked at each other and said, "Okay" in sync.

I helped them in making sandwiches.

Soon Jungkook, Jimin and Suga also came. We all had breakfast together.

Suga left for work.

Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and I also got up to go to school. Taetae goes to music academy where he's learning how to play a saxophone.

Jin said he'll drop us, but we refused since it wouldn't look nice if students were coming with their teacher. Jin went alone while we decided to go by bus.

We entered the bus and there were only 2 empty seats. Jimin was very clumsy and he definitely cannot stand without falling, in a moving bus. So Jimin sat on one seat and Jungkook and I kept telling each other to sit.

"You sit y/n." Jungkook said.

"No! You sit Jungkook. I can stand." I replied.

The bus driver suddenly stopped the bus and I was about to fall backwards. I closed my eyes scared of the hard impact of falling. But I suddenly felt a hand encircling my waist and I didn't fall.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jungkook. His face was very close to mine. I froze. I couldn't move. He didn't budge either.

"Are you okay y/n?" -Jimin asked in a loud voice.

Jungkook finally moved his face away, I stood up and he removed his hand from my waist.

"Yeah I am fine." I replied.

After that Jimin told me to sit and this time I didn't argue and sat down.

AT SCHOOL :

I was so happy to meet Sofia. She was glad that I am fine. She told me about what happened that day, it was a false alarm. People thought the building was on fire. Made sense.

We had Mr. Kim's class and I felt very weird an nervous. However, it was a very normal class. He cracked his dad jokes as usual.

My favourite ones were, what would you call a popular lobster? lobSTAR. (Insert windshield wiper laughter) and what do you call a bee that just started learning? BEEginning (Insert more windshield wiper laughter)

It was break time soon. Jimin came to me and said, "Let's go and meet Hope."

Meet hope? I was very confused but I still went with him. In the cafeteria he called out very loudly, "HOSEOK HYUNG." A man with beautiful hair turned around and oh my god his face was just as beautiful.

He came while waving both of his hands, towards us.

"Hey! How are you Jimin?" He said hugging him.

"I'm fine Hoseok hyung. I wanted you to meet y/n." He said while pointing at me.

"And y/n this is Ho-" Jimin was interrupted by the very excited male.

"I'm your hope, you're my hope, I am J-Hope." He said cheerfully.

I chuckled. He was very cute.

We sat on a table with our lunches. Sofia and Jungkook joined us as well. We all sat there amazed by how much of fun person J-Hope is.

We had a good time.

The rest of the day flew by.

"J-hope is one of our roommates." Jimin said.

"Oh wow! He's going to come with us?" I asked.

"No he'll give us a lift since he has a car." Jimn replied.

Okay so now 1 more roommate to go, I thought.

We went to J-hope's car and Jimin sat in the passenger seat. Jungkook and I sat in the backseat. I remembered the awkward encounter in the bus and my cheeks flushed 50 shades red.

Jimin and J-hope were talking a lot while me and Jungkook were silent. It was very awkward. I didn't know what to say so I just stayed silent, making the atmosphere more awkward.

Jimin seemed to notice our awkwardness but he didn't say anything. Maybe because J-hope was there and he didn't want us to get more awkward.

The ride to home was very weird, awkward, silent and long.

J-hope stopped at a nearby fast food restaurant and got some food for takeout. I felt happy because of the food and Jungkook seemed to be less awkward now.

After the long ride, we finally reached home. I couldn't wait to eat!

We all went in. We saw Taehyung was already there. He hugged J-hope and they both looked very happy.

Everyone went to freshen up.

I took a hot shower and decided to wear something nice for now. I was just in a good mood so I also straightened my hair. My outfit was pretty simple but attractive. I went out and everyone looked at me. I felt weird.

"You look good", Jimin complimented.

Jin was also sitting on the table.

I sat at the table. We ate our lunch happily. Jin cracked some dad jokes and J-hope talked a lot. It was a very fun lunchtime. Only Yoongi was at work and one more roommate was enjoying his vacation I guess.
