2 You’ve Changed Blair

"Nothing in the world can trouble you as much as your own thoughts."

The next day was just like yesterday, wake up, take a shower, change into some baggy clothes, get everything I need and head to school.

Today, I was pretty hungry in the morning not being able to have breakfast yesterday I went to the cafeteria and got myself a cereal.

Other than that, everything was the same.

Being done with all of my classes for the day, I headed over to the front of the school where I knew Daniela would be.

Noticing my presence she greeted me with her usual smile, "Hey, Blair."

"Hey," I replied, smiling back at her happy self.

"So how has your day been so far?" She asked, trying to make conversation.

"Great! I am loving this college already!" I replied, sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"That bad?" She pouted, "Why? What happened?"

"It's just the second day and I'm already thrown into a pile of homework due by the end of the week," I explain, rolling my eyes.

"Oh," was all she said nodding her head, "Well, I'm going to the library today with some friends to study. Do you want to join us?" She questioned.

"Yeah, sure," I replied, appreciating her kindness.

This was rare for me. People who were nice to me usually wanted something from me, but her kindness was genuine as well as her smiles and that's what made me feel thankful for meeting her.

"Alright! So see you there around four-ish?" She asked, now picking her stuff off of the grass as she was sitting there reading.

"Sure, see you there," I waved at her, as she bid goodbye and left.

I didn't have anything to do, so I decided to head on over to my dorm.

Much to my surprise I found Isabella sitting at the edge of her bed.

When she saw me, she stood up, beaming of excitement. I narrowed an eyebrow in confusion at her excitement.

As if she knew my unasked question she said, "There's a welcome party tomorrow," she was practically screaming of happiness, bouncing on her heels like a little girl.

Cutting her happiness short I said, "So?" Dragging onto the 'o' before she replied.

"You're coming right?" She asked, all squealing cut short as she stared at me with seriousness.

I shook my head side to side, scrunching my nose, "Umm, no. Partying isn't really my thing."

She rolled her eyes, getting annoyed by the second, "Well, I'm not taking no for an answer."

"Well, I didn't come to this college to party. I came here for a reason and one reason only and that is to finish off my studies," I replied.

"I came here for one reason and one reason only and that is to finish off my studies," she mocked me before adding a, "studies my ass!"

I rolled my eyes at that, "Come on don't be so boring!" She exclaimed.

"I'm sorry that I didn't come to party hard, unlike some people I care about college," I told her.

"Well, for your information. People can combine both, partying and caring about college," she replied nonchalantly.

She did have a point proven there, but I really wasn't in the mood for it.

"Just drop it. I don't want to go," I said, irritation evident in my voice as I spoke.

"Okay then, just be the same old nerd nobody likes," she snapped back before storming out of the room, leaving me and my rolling eyes.

I spend some of my time scrolling through Instagram, my eyes reached up to check the time. 3:56.

Gathering my stuff, I closed the door behind me before heading to the library.

Arriving at the library just in time as it had turned 4, I looked around trying to find a pair of amber eyes. Just then I took noticed of Daniela's arms flailing around in the air.

Walking over to the table she was sat at, she gave me her smile, "I'm glad you came."

"Where are your friends?" I asked, as I motioned to the empty seats beside her.

"They should come any minute now," Daniela shrugged, not knowing at what time they would come exactly.

I nodded my head, before taking a seat in front of her. "We could start without them," she offered. Soon we zoned out, too invested on the books in front of us.

I started getting bored, so my eyes started wondering around the room. Stopping at the sight in front me.

On the table in front me, sat Angelique and her clique. I couldn't help, but listen into their conversation.

"Oh my god! Are you seeing what I'm seeing?! Those guys over there are so hot!" Angelique exclaimed, giggling like a maniac, "I'm going for the one in the middle."

Madison giggled with her as she said, "I'm totally getting the right one."

Stella then said, "I'm getting the left one."

Do they just think of people as toys, they can just pick out?

Following their gazes, I found myself staring at Elijah and two of his friends. As I looked at the guys at either side of my brother, I found myself falling into his blue pools, they were so captivating.

If you payed much more closer attention, you could see the hints of green, that were sprawled around his blue orbs, his smooth tanned skin contrasted with them.

His brown messy hair was pushed back as his hand ran through it. A few strands falling onto his forehead a he did.

His perfect jawline was fascinating as well as his well sculpted lips and body. His tones abs were visible through his white t-shirt. He was wearing some black jeans with it and some vans.

When I say he looked attractive was an understatement. There wasn't a word in this world that could possibly describe him well.

He looked like a Greek God.

Jayden Anderson.

I totally forgot he went here, and the fact that I was getting nervous for him seeing me dressed like this was making me panic.

Why, you may ask. Well he is the guy of my dreams, has always been.

I was suddenly brought back from my thought when I heard my name being called, "Blair!"

Blinking a couple of times to regain myself I said a quick, "I'm sorry."

Hearing the girls snicker in front of me, "She was too busy drooling over the guys," rolling my eyes at Angelique's statement she continued as her friends laughed, "I'll be with Elijah by the end of the week."

Her minions stopped laughing and nodded their head. At that I laughed, they gave me odd looks as to why I was laughing, "Do you find it pride worthy?" I questioned her.

"Didn't your mom teach you that it's rude to eavesdrop," Angelique said and continued, "and just to answer your question, I can get any guy I want."

I hollered at her reply, "I'm sorry," I laughed even more before saying, "I wouldn't understand since I don't like being used by a guy."

Angelique's smirk disappeared from her face, now scowling over at me. I then told her, "He'll gladly take you to his bed. Sadly, for one night."

Angelique was at a loss of words before she sputtered, "Well-well he won't even spare you a look at all," she crossed her arms in exasperation, resting her back on the chair huffing.

Chuckling lowly, I smiled over at her saying, "Watch me."

Standing up from my current seat I strutted over to my brother. As he saw me his face lightened with happiness, reaching over on my tippy toes, I kissed his cheek.

"Hello, Eli," I said, smiling back at him.

Just then the guy who I have no idea what his name is, raised a brow looking at Elijah, "You're just going to let her kiss you like that?"

Elijah let out a low laugh, "Of course, why wouldn't I? How about I introduce you to my little sister?"

As Elijah was about to introduce me as he had said I beat him to it, "Blair Kingston."

"Noah Smith," he greeted back, giving me a grin.

Elijah's voice boomed loudly, "Don't you dare touch her or I'll have to beat your ass."

At that I laughed, Jayden joining in, while Elijah gave a -rolling his eyes- Noah a death glare.

Suddenly an idea popped into my mind, as I inched closer to Noah, my mouth traced over his jaw before landing next to his ear, "Don't worry, I know how to calm my brother," I whispered seductively, the hairs on his neck standing up.

I was then pulled back from him by Elijah who looked ready to pounce on him. He gave me a glare, making me chuckle.

Just then a voice that I haven't heard in years spoke up, "You've changed, Blair," my name rolled off of his lips perfectly, a melody to my ears, "I think you took my words way too seriously," he says while rubbing his neck nervously.

Looking at him skeptically to see if he'd explain further, he did and said, "About pretty nerd," adding a wink at the end, my stomach did a somersault.

Ah, I remember now.

*Flashback*

"What a pretty nerd," Jayden's voice made an appearance at my door. I looked over to see him leaning against my door frame looking over at me with a smirk, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Unlike some people I care about my grades," I replied, grinning from ear to ear. Standing up from my current position I headed over to him.

He didn't move an inch as I did so, "And who said, I didn't care about my grades?" He questioned, raising his perfect dark eyebrow.

"Ah, I get it now. So you're one of those good boys? A sportsman, good at studying and overly a nice guy," Jayden stares at my green eyes, rubbing the back of his neck, "I can't believe you're all of it."

Taking his hand and running it over his already messy hair he asked, "And why not?"

"I don't know," I started, "You just don't seem like that type of a guy, you know?"

"Then what type of a guy am I?" Jayden asked, curiosity lacing his words and eyes.

"You're the guy who plays football or hockey. You like to party a lot. Trouble seems to follow everywhere you go, as well as girls, as you don't have to put any effort to get any girl you like. Am I right?" I said, now crossing my arms over my chest just like him.

"I don't play sports," he replied, laughing at my assumption.

My eyes widened, "But you're body is fit..." my voice trailed off.

His smirk got wider at what I had just said, "Do you like what you see?" He teased me, before saying, "I guess it's my turn."

"I mean you can try," I told him, shrugging.

"Okay, so you're the most popular girl in school being the cheer captain of the cheerleading team. You are currently dating the captain of the football team and you pretend to be a bitch when you're really not," he practically said half of it.

"Wow, are you a psychologist?" I questioned sarcastically.

"Been training my whole life," he jokes around, "am I right though?" He tells me.

"Partly," I replied.

*End of Flashback*

"Well guys, this was fun and all, but I just came to say hi. Good seeing you again, Jayden and it was nice meeting you, Noah," I waved at them.

"You too, Blair," both of them simultaneously said at the same time.

Heading back to the table, I found a stunned Daniela staring at me. Before seating I smiled over at Angelique, and in a sickly sweet voice said, "He invited me on a date."

Angelique being her egotistical self just rolled her eyes and went back to talking to her friends.

"Oh my god! He invited you on a date!" Daniela exclaimed.

"It's not such a big deal," I chuckled, looking at her happy expression.

She continued on ranting about it for a couple of minutes before she looked behind me, "My friends are here!" She squealed, clapping her hands.

I looked over to my left and saw two girls walking over to our table, assuming they were her friends I smiled over at them.

Now standing at the edge of the table Daniela spoke up, "Guys, this is Blair, Blair this is Willow and Veronica."

Looking at the girls who stood in front of me, I studied them.

Willow seemed much more edgier wearing some black combat boots with some black ripped jeans and an all black polo shirt, her black hair was put into a bun and I could visibly see some blue strands coming out of it, her brown eyes almost camouflaging with the dark makeup she was wearing. She was wearing a lip ring, as well as a nose ring. Although she seemed tough from the outside I was sure she was nice, after all Daniela was friends with her.

Veronica was quite different from Willow, wearing some big rimmed black glasses covering her bright blue eyes, she had a cute button nose and small lips. Her blonde hair was loosely hanging above her shoulders in waves, I mean she was beautiful, but didn't know how to dress herself properly. She was wearing a long brown skirt that reached just above her ankles, pairing it with a white shirt and a brown loose cardigan.

"It's nice to finally meet you girls, Daniela over here can't seem to stop talking about you two," I chimed at them.

The both of them gave me a big smile in return, "Good things I hope," Willow replied, smirking.

"Of course!" Daniela cut in.

"Then let's begin studying," Veronica concluded, and just like that they sat down. Veronica sitting besides Daniela leaving Willow to sit next to me.

Going over multiple courses, we helped each other out. Turns out Veronica was majoring for chemical engineering, while Willow was majoring for mechanical engineering -made sense-, Daniela was in it for architecture, and I on the other hand was majoring for business.

After some time spent in the library trying to figure out our work. We soon came to a stop, tired of all the studying and homework we had done.

We had finished almost all of it. Seeing it was late too, 6pm to be exact.

Walking out the library with all our stuff we made our way to our dorms rooms, in the elevator we bid our goodbyes as my room was on the eleventh floor and theirs was on the twentieth floor.

"Bye," I waved at them, getting out of the elevator. "Bye," all three of them said at the exact same time.

Finally standing outside of my dorm room, I slid my keycard on the door, hearing the clicking noise I opened it to reveal an empty room, no sign of Isabella.

Closing the door behind me I walked over to my bed, throwing myself at it grunting. As soon as my body sinked onto the mattress I felt sleep take over me, completely ignoring the fact that I hadn't ate dinner.
