20 Stop denying your feelings

Charlotte looked at her brother. "Why?" Christopher sighed and let go of Charlotte's hand. "Go home, Mom and Dad would be happy to see you." Charlotte looked at her brother sharply as she pouted. "I am going to sleep here, and Kaylee will sleep with me." Christopher's jaw dropped. He looked at Kaylee, but she looked away.

Christopher grabbed Charlotte's wrist and dragged her to the kitchen, leaving Kaylee alone in the living room. Christopher got a glass, poured wine, and gave it to Charlotte. "You're staying tonight?" Charlotte nodded. "Yes." Christopher let out a sigh. "And you want Kaylee to accompany you?" Charlotte smiled and nodded again. "Yeah. I've always wanted to have a sister, and do the things sisters do."

"Just don't stay up all night, you need to rest." Charlotte nodded. "Anna told you right, that I'm going home?" Charlotte asked as she took a sip of her wine. Christopher nodded. "And yet you didn't pick me up. Instead, I caught you making out with Kaylee." Christopher coughed. Charlotte laughed. "Ne, Onii-chan."

Christopher looked at her sister, "What is it?"

Charlotte only calls him Onii-chan when she wants to know something or she wants him to tell her the truth. They're not Japanese, it's just that Charlotte found it cute how Japanese people addressed their older brothers. "Do you like Kaylee?" Charlotte smiled weakly when he didn't give her an answer. "You know, I like her." Christopher looked at her, he just heard her out. "I would be happy if she's the one you're going to marry."

"Is she your girlfriend?" She looked at her brother, she wanted to know, even though she felt like it had nothing to do with her. "No." Charlotte sighed. "Then why? I can see that she's innocent just by looking at her; don't drag her into your world."

'I'm sorry Char, I have already dragged her into my world.' He thought to himself. "It's true that she's not my girlfriend; she's my assistant, and I am her boss. Even if we did it, or we're going to do it, rest assured, that as long as I am with her, I'm not going to fool around with any other girls." Charlotte pouted. "What kind of relationship is that? Just marry her, okay?"

"You know I hate commitments."

Charlotte rolled her eyes, "Even though you hate commitments, there's nothing you can do if the date of your marriage is set stupid older brother." Charlotte took another sip of her wine. "Let me ask you, who would you prefer, Kaylee or that Sofia bitch?" Without any second thought, Christopher said Kaylee's name. Charlotte nodded with a smile on her face.

"Do you live together?" Christopher frowned. "I mean you and Kaylee?"

"No, she lives next door. Stop asking questions."

Charlotte ignored him and asked another question. "What do you think of Kaylee?"

Christopher signed as she looked at her sister. "She's kind; just like you said, she's innocent. I enjoyed her company the most."

Charlotte nodded, "That's why you like her?"

"That's right!"

"I knew it!"

"Huh?" Charlotte smiled widely. "You said you like her." Christopher gulped. "Did I?" Charlotte nodded three times. "Hmm! Hmm! Hmm!"

"It's not like that—"

"Tell Mom." Christopher looked at her. "This is your only way to get rid of that Sofia bitch. Since you like Kaylee and you have that intimate relationship with her, it is going to be easy to make Mom believe that you two are in love, tell her she's your girlfriend. Maybe you can convince Mom to at least postpone your marriage."

"Since when did I say I like Kaylee."

Charlotte shrugged. "Just a while ago." Charlotte's phone rang and before she answered the call, she looked at her brother and said, "Think about it Onii-chan. And stop denying your feelings."
