Ji Haishan was ushered to the apartment where Bai Yulin's home was located. All the way, he had Li Rou dragging him by his arm. He just stayed silent for the entire ride in the car earlier. And he was still not talking a single word. His face fell when they finally stopped in front of the door which he assumed was Bai Yulin's house. Was he supposed to stay here for the night?

"Listen, now you're still injured. But thank goodness that you're having a break from the shoot. Next week at Friday, you'll start working again. So please.. please take care of your health." Li Rou said to Bai Yulin.

"I'm sorry for being hard on you in the hospital. But I need you to focus on your image, Yulin. You're a supermodel. A public figure. You almost offended young master Ji." Li Rou looked over the mute Bai Yulin. She wasn't talking back to her at all.

"Alright, I know you're tired. Go inside and rest. I'll come back tomorrow to check on you." Li Rou pushed Bai Yulin's back softly inside. Then Bai Yulin disappeared with a click of the door.

Ji Haishan looked around the house and found that it was messy, unlike his condo.

"So much for being a beautiful woman." he snorted.

Then a frown appeared on his face. Did he just say Bai Yulin was beautiful? Did he actually compliment her? The thought made him want to snarl but he held back. He sighed a breather and continued to look around.

Suddenly, inside his head, the countdown to 24 hours started. He realized it was the time limit for him to stay here without contacting Bai Yulin. So... what was he supposed to do now? Just lay down and pretended to be dead?

On the other side, Bai Yulin was being escorted by her entourage of bodyguards. Not her same bodyguards in her usual life- but those that belonged to the Ji's. These bodyguards were all bulky and scary-looking. They were specifically trained under the military. They were top tier ex soldiers, to be exact.

When they arrived in the parking lot, Bai Yulin was escorted to the car, a black Maybach. Not the same Rolls Royce Ji Haishan often used and the one she collided with. She halted when one of the bodyguards opened the door for her. She felt weird when she had to go inside the powerful Ji Haishan's car. Then, she realized she wasn't dreaming. This was all real.

"Young master Ji?" the bodyguard asked for her attention, causing Bai Yulin to snap her head faster than a speed of light.

"Y- yeah..?" her expression was strange and comical in a way that the bodyguard didn't know what to say. Why was the young master acting weird suddenly?

Maybe because the effect of the accident..? Young master Ji needed to rest at home faster, it seemed.

The bodyguard motioned for her to go inside but Bai Yulin was still acting very awkward. She didn't stop inching left and right in the car that even the driver found her to be weird. The last straw was when Bai Yulin bit her lip in instinct, and the driver almost stepped on the break because of shock.

Why the hell would the influential young master Ji do that?! Biting his own lip?? Was he trying to act cute?! The driver took a deep heavy breath before he tried focusing on the road again.

Soon, Bai Yulin finally arrived in the condominium complex called Secret Sanctuary. The most expensive condominium building in the country, built by a company overseas which Ji Haishan also invested on.

She remembered Li Rou telling her to move to Secret Sanctuary. It could boost her standing in the society while also giving Bai Yulin the most safety in terms of security. As a supermodel, Bai Yulin deserved to live here due to her status.

But Bai Yulin declined, she didn't want to leave her cozy apartment. She lived there for so long that it was now her world, not her home. She sighed once she remembered that the indifferent man was there now, maybe wreaking havoc in her lovely abode.

Bai Yulin got inside the condo using her fingerprint. She finally realized that even her finger was bigger now, since she was a man. She stared at the long, slender finger of Ji Haishan. Bai Yulin then trailed over the vein on her palm up to her upper arm.

'So he worked out..' she nodded in affirmation. Mentally giving him points for having a good lifestyle, unlike herself.

Bai Yulin walked inside the condo and she gaped. Was she in a dream? How could this be a man's home?! It was more pristine than her apartment! Not a single dust, a single trash was seen.

"Is he a mysophobic?" Bai Yulin exclaimed. Her eyes big in disbelief.

"Oh God... what would he say if he saw my living room!" she knew her living room was in total chaos.

"Shit, I'm embarrassed." Bai Yulin sighed as she wiped her whole face using her big palm. Then she scowled.

Why was Ji Haishan's palm felt rough to the touch? Tsk. Typical of a man.

She wondered how would he handle women with such rough hands. Suddenly, her cheeks turned red. What the hell was she thinking?!

Bai Yulin looked at the palm and stared at it long and hard. She glanced over the strong fingers one by one. Even her ears started to burn now. How did he do it with women?

Did he use his fingers...
