On Sunday at five in the afternoon, Ji Haishan was getting ready for the welcoming party at one of Ji Group's chain hotel.

He was in Bai Yulin's room, sitting in front of the vanity table to get his makeup done. Even if they were a couple, they still decided to sleep separately because they weren't in their original bodies. However, Ji Haishan had made things easier for them when he installed a double door connecting his and her room.

He was already in a white dress with floral lace pattern. A simple A line dress that reached just above his knee.

Earlier, Bai Yulin had helped him in putting on minimal makeup. And now she was roaming about in his walk-in closet to look for suitable clothes to wear.

A few minutes later, Ji Haishan was staring at the mirror where he saw a very fair, white, and gorgeous woman in the world. But before he could drown himself in appreciation, the door was suddenly opened from outside and in came Li Rou with a paper bag.

Behind her was Bai Yulin in a black polo shirt under a blazer. It seemed that she was already dressed for the occasion.

Meanwhile, Li Rou looked glowing and happy these days because she received a raise in her salary a few days ago and she found out it was Ji Haishan's doing.

Li Rou couldn't find any words to thank him and she automatically became the couple's fan again. She also urged 'Bai Yulin' to do anything she could to cling onto 'Ji Haishan' so that they would receive more benefits.

Most of the time, Li Rou would text her friend to give some wild tips in bed but when they were together, she would talk to 'Bai Yulin' about it very openly.

Ji Haishan who was acting as Bai Yulin at the time, couldn't help but cover his distorted face when he heard Li Rou's bold and unsavory suggestions. He wondered if other girls would talk like how Li Rou talk with Bai Yulin.

If it was Bai Yulin, would she agree with Li Rou's suggestions? Or would she turn red like an apple and brush it off? Ji Haishan wasn't quite sure since his girlfriend's brain was wired quite differently. Sometimes her reactions exceeded other's expectations.

"Yulin, I'm here!" Li Rou exclaimed as she went inside the room with a broad grin over her face.

"Hey." Ji Haishan quickly went into his 'Bai Yulin' mode, smiling gracefully towards the woman.

"I brought your high heels and other jewellery. They're all in black and I think they go well with your white dress." Li Rou went closer towards 'Bai Yulin' and began to open the paper bag.

Bai Yulin who was in Ji Haishan's body, stared at her best friend's back with a melodramatic expression. It saddened her that she couldn't talk with her best friend even if she was there. She wiped away some non-existent tears on her cheek and went outside to give Ji Haishan and Li Rou some space.

Unlike women, men dressed simply and quickly. They didn't need to put on makeup and wear jewellery to match with their clothes. So the current Bai Yulin could dress up faster than Ji Haishan.

She went to the kitchen for a mineral water and took a seat on the barstool. Then she played with her phone, looking at the comments from Weibo and how she was still in a top search online.

Bai Yulin also saw her agency's response towards her dating life that stated it was true. She smiled when she recalled how Ji Haishan had solved her problem with just a single phone call.

'My boyfriend is the best!' she beamed.

Back inside the room, Li Rou kept talking with excitement about how today's party would be the first ever public appearance for 'Bai Yulin' and her rich boyfriend.

She kept on giving advice and a few warnings to 'Bai Yulin' that she should maintain her image and always smile to everyone. Li Rou also didn't forget to remind her friend that although this event was off-limits to the public, she should take care of her appearance as a top model when conversing with Ji Group's employees.

Ji Haishan's ears were beginning to bleed from the constant nagging but he held himself back from having to facepalm his own delicate face.

Soon, everything was in place and Li Rou seemed hella satisfied with her friend's look. The black opal necklace suited 'Bai Yulin' perfectly. And the black diamond earrings complimented her friend's dark black hair. She had also put on a black crystal bracelet.

When she finished giving 'Bai Yulin' a once over, Li Rou smiled in triumph and gave herself an artificial pat in the back. Suddenly, she recalled something important and her expression turned somewhat serious.

"Remember this, Yulin. In the eyes of others, you're no longer single. So whatever you do will have an impact to young master Ji. I hope the two of you won't have to break up but that's not up to me. So, when it finally comes to that, I'll help you with anything I can. I'll make sure your career won't get affected."

Ji Haishan became visibly stiff when he heard what Li Rou was telling him. But Li Rou took it as a sign that 'Bai Yulin' wasn't comfortable in talking about it. So she closed her mouth and started towards the door.

"I'll be leaving now, then." Li Rou opened the door but halted.

"Oh! Don't forget that in two months, we're going to fly to London for that fashion show." then she left.

Ji Haishan didn't hear what Li Rou was saying before she disappeared. And he still couldn't comprehend the thoughts that there was a possibility that things wouldn't work out for him and Bai Yulin.

If one day they broke up..

What would he do?

A few minutes later, Ji Haishan shook his head to get rid of his stupid ideas. He gritted his teeth, it was all that meager manager's fault! Now he became uneasy. Why did Li Rou have to tell him something like that?

Ji Haishan stood up and took the black high heels in his hands and went outside, looking for Bai Yulin. He saw her sitting at the kitchen counter then he rushed to hug her.

Bai Yulin who was playing with her phone, stopped paying attention to the screen and turned around to look at him. She raised her brow in wonder.

"What happened?"

"Nothing." Ji Haishan said. He went silent but was still hugging her. Then Bai Yulin smiled and hugged him back. Her strong arms secured his small body and transferred some warmth to him.

"You're so pretty, Ms. Bai." Bai Yulin teased. A grin broke out from her mouth playfully.

"And you're so handsome, young master Ji.." Ji Haishan muttered under his breath. His eyes crinkled like crescent moon and it caused Bai Yulin's breath to become still.

The two stayed in each other's embrace for a while before they started to come down to the lobby. Ji Haishan decided to ignore Li Rou's words because he knew he was serious. And he was sure that Bai Yulin was the same.

Soon, they were escorted to the car with two bodyguards in tow. The bodyguards were already accustomed to seeing their young master with his girlfriend. And they were also dedicated in protecting 'Bai Yulin'.

Because in their whole career standing with their young master, she was the only woman by his side. And he wasn't a player. It was safe to say that 'Bai Yulin' was their future young mistress.
