"I apologize, Ms. Li." Bai Yulin suddenly appeared in the living room. She was standing not far from Ji Haishan and she gradually took her steps towards him.

"I overheard your conversation and I ask you to not be angry at my girlfriend. It's my fault too." Bai Yulin stated with conviction and for a moment, Ji Haishan was mesmerized.

"Young master Ji." Li Rou smiled towards 'Ji Haishan' but anyone could see she was actually not very happy.

She supported Bai Yulin when she wanted to live together with him. She didn't say anything against it and secretly paid extra attention to make sure none of her fans would know where she lived. But now that all she got was a bashing from her superiors, she didn't know what to say.

The higher-ups were actually pleased to see that their promising model was associated with a prominent figure like Ji Haishan. The problem was when things got out of control in Weibo stating that the agency itself was keeping it a secret by not securing a public statement like what Ji Group's public relations did.

Some people instantly believed the magazine interview while some prefered to hear it straight from the agency which managed Bai Yulin all these years.

"It was my negligence that I forgot to inform your director about it. Please, let me make a phone call and talk to him." Bai Yulin's words surprised Ji Haishan more than Li Rou.

He never expected that she knew exactly what he was thinking!

"And the decision to reveal that we're dating.." Bai Yulin took a nervous glance over Ji Haishan, and then she saw him nod.

".. it actually comes from me." she added, causing Li Rou to widen her eyes in a split second.

"Alright, young master Ji. I'm sorry if I was being rude in your house and in front of the door earlier." Li Rou said as she stood up from her seat. She didn't look expectant at all but her mood did get better.

When she first saw the interview segment and its last question, she was beyond surprised. She thought Bai Yulin was just too stupidly in love that she suddenly wanted to reveal her relationship with Ji Haishan in just after a month of living together.

Li Rou thought it was absurd and definitely not a wise decision. What if they broke up in the future? What would other people say? All these years, Bai Yulin had never been involved in a scandal. She was as pure as water, untainted.

And a part of her was worried for her best friend. Perhaps Bai Yulin was just too caught up by the fleeting moment of happiness. And it made her want to reveal her relationship without consulting others.

After that, Li Rou and 'Bai Yulin' made up. Though a little strained, they could talk about their upcoming schedules like normal. Then, Li Rou went home.

Ji Haishan heaved up a relief sigh and took his phone to call his assistant. He motioned for Bai Yulin to follow what he wrote on his tablet, just like the last time she was on the phone.

In the end, she relented because she didn't have anything against it. It would even be better if her modelling agency was bought by Ji Haishan. It would show others that she really was with him and he was serious about her.

Bai Yulin didn't care if there was a misconception that said she was hugging on his big thigh and asking him to buy the agency using their relationship for fame.

Because she knew that wasn't true. All along, she was already a renowned figure in the fashion industry- getting the crown for top model for three consecutive years. Bai Yulin didn't need to cling onto Ji Haishan just to become famous.

When their phone call ended, Bai Yulin passed the phone to Ji Haishan and he smiled. He patted her head and told her she did a good job.

She was sorry because she was impulsive in announcing their relationship. She was the one who appeared on the set and made Ji Haishan agree with her at that time to go public.

"What are you talking about? We're in this together. Even if it's not via Time Line, we'll have to announce it as part of the penalty after all." he said, coaxing his girlfriend who looked ready to cry.

Ji Haishan kept on rubbing Bai Yulin's back in an attempt to calm her down. She was sad that she forgot her brain just because of the penalty.

He hugged her and rubbed her big back soothingly. Soon, Bai Yulin began to snuggle and hug him back. He moved and sat on her lap.

Even to this day, he still marveled over the fact that women were lighter than men in terms of weight and mass. He could sit on his own lap and not worry about getting sore.

Bai Yulin and Ji Haishan later continued their lovey-dovey moment which was interrupted earlier. They cuddled together on the sofa. Then they soon forgot where they were and began kissing for comfort.

The best thing about Bai Yulin was that she was easy to coax and fast to get back on her feet. The matter with Li Rou just now was immediately forgotten.
