Bai Yulin saw Ji Haishan sighing and she became even more displeased. She glared daggers at him for a minute until he couldn't stand it anymore.

Ji Haishan faced Bai Yulin and asked "Why are you staring as if you want to poke holes into me?"

"Because you're neglecting me. Give me attention now or I'll sulk!" Bai Yulin's face turned sour. She had been sitting in the study for an hour and he was still busy with his work!

Ji Haishan smiled helplessly as he put down his glasses. He then stood up and went towards where she was. He crouched down in front of the couch where Bai Yulin was sitting on with her legs crossed.

"Bai Yulin, I'm not neglecting you."

"I'm just trying to sort things up for a while-"

Ji Haishan's face began to contort in anger. The freaking phone call wouldn't shut up no matter what he did. He got up immediately and slammed on the answer button.

Ji Haishan then said through gritted teeth "If I hear you call me again within the next 24 hours- you're dead!"

Then he put the phone on silent after hanging up on his poor assistant. Which part of the "Don't disturb me today with unimportant calls." did Gao Li Bai not understand??

Meanwhile in the company, Gao Li Bai sat across his desk with a bewildered look. He was pretty sure that the number he called was his boss'. But why would his girlfriend answer the call instead? And why was she so pissed off as if she was the one getting disturbed?

He scratched his head in confusion and decided not to think too much about it. His boss' personal life got nothing to do with him.

Back to study, Ji Haishan walked right back towards Bai Yulin who now had her arms crossed over her chest. She puffed up her cheeks and it didn't look all that attractive for him for it was his own face that he was seeing.

Ji Haishan's eye twitched as he scolded "How many time do I have to tell you? Stop making such expression with my face."

"So what? I'm in control of this body now so any expressions I make is my choice." Bai Yulin retorted. Her voice sounded harsh but a bit sullen.

Ji Haishan sighed again and slowly took his seat beside her. He smiled a little and tried to peer her hands from her chest. When he succeeded, he held her hand and interlaced it together with his.

"I'm sorry, okay? I'll stop working and stop paying attention to my phone." he said, his voice turned soft and alluring. There wasn't a trace of annoyance anymore.

Bai Yulin didn't want to give him the easy leeway but he was being sincere. So she couldn't stay mad. No, she wasn't exactly mad to begin with.

"Alright, apology accepted. Now kiss me." she demanded, her hold on his hand tightened.

Ji Haishan tilted his head in surprise but he immediately did as his girlfriend commanded. He didn't waste time as to kiss her. Usually, she was the one to initiate the kissing but now she wanted him to take charge. So he was happy with it.

"Mn.. Bai Yulin.." Ji Haishan's cute voice penetrated through her ears and Bai Yulin felt herself shudder from bliss.

Their kissing turned from brushing lips to sucking and licking. It became intense on the next minute as they began to smooch harder. Bai Yulin instinctively circled Ji Haishan's petite body into her arms. She could never get enough of him.

Ji Haishan on the other hand, hooked his arms around her neck, one of his hand went towards her head as he palmed her hair into fist, tugging at it provocatively. It made Bai Yulin moan accidentally.

Her low rumble of voice echoed near him and Ji Haishan felt like it was the most beautiful sound his original body had ever made in his entire life. He didn't know whether he would want to praise himself for having such a seductive voice or Bai Yulin for making that sound in his stead.

They parted after some time only to regain their breaths. Bai Yulin was already smiling and Ji Haishan felt a sense of victory. He liked that when they kissed, every stupid bickering they had would vanish.

Bai Yulin was satisfied by Ji Haishan's performance and she praised him. Ji Haishan also became relaxed when he leaned on her closer. They sat together on the couch and she began telling him about the comments on social media. The work he left on the desk was already forgotten when he was by her side.

She looked ecstatic with their relationship reveal and Ji Haishan couldn't help but think that Bai Yulin was just as serious as him in their dating life. He suddenly felt very comfortable with that thought and vowed to keep their relationship afloat for years to come. He wouldn't want to break up with her.

When they began to get cozy, the doorbell rang furiously, making their ears itchy. Both Ji Haishan and Bai Yulin frowned as their lovey-dovey time was interrupted.

They went towards the door to check on the intruder and found Li Rou waiting impatiently outside. When Bai Yulin saw her friend's face through the camera intercom, she went pale. She suddenly recalled her mistake.

"Oh my God! I forgot to tell Rou about going public with our relationship! She didn't know about my answer to that interview's last question." she turned towards Ji Haishan who was gulping down his non-existent saliva.

He was always scared to deal with Li Rou when she was angry. The woman was vicious and would give him either a silent treatment or a heavy scolding.

"You deal with her, Ji Haishan! I'll put my trust in you!" Bai Yulin pushed his back towards the door and urged him to open it.

"Hey- what? How could you! She's your manager, not mine!" Ji Haishan tried his best to drag his feet back to where he initially stood but Bai Yulin in his body was stronger.

She kept pushing him towards the door and he struggled to get back to the entranceway.

"Stop pushing me!"

"You go and deal with her now or she'll get real mad!"

"She's already so mad!" Ji Haishan exclaimed.

They both shivered when they heard Li Rou's voice shouting like a maniac outside the door. She was even banging on the door like she wanted to trash it open. There were some curse words they recognized from her loud bullshitting.

"I'm doing this for our sake!" Bai Yulin responded. She obviously looked shaken up by her own best friend's dramatic reaction.

"You mean YOUR sake??!"
