"Ji Haishaaaaannn~!" Bai Yulin ran towards her boyfriend first thing after she came back home. Her tense body relaxed immediately at the sight of him.

Ji Haishan was watching TV to distract himself from worrying about Bai Yulin. So he was caught by surprise when she lunged towards him.

Before he could react, they both fell down on the couch in the living room, with her on top of him.

Ji Haishan groaned due to the sudden impact as he asked her "What's wrong with you?"

"I did it! I survived!" Bai Yulin's eyes were a mixture of nervousness and relief and a bit of pride. It caused his heart to beat wildly but still in rhythm.

Ji Haishan smiled and nodded as he spoke "Well done, Bai Yulin. I know you can do it."

Ji Haishan's warm smile and mellow voice tickled Bai Yulin's heart at the deepest corner and she also smiled. Then she felt him giving her a pet on the head, making her blush slightly. She felt that her hard work was paid off.

"Thank you.." Bai Yulin snuggled even closer against his chest. She felt the softness of her own breasts against her face but she didn't mind it. She wanted to stay as close as possible with Ji Haishan.

"Tired?" Ji Haishan propped one elbow so that he could half sit and half lie on the couch. Then he rubbed his girlfriend's back in a soothing manner.

"Yeah.. I'm beat." Bai Yulin nodded cutely.

Then she complained shamelessly "Those men were too serious and the entire meeting room was cold. I was freezing as if I was in the middle of Antarctica."

As Bai Yulin caressed her cheek on Ji Haishan's chest, she suddenly remembered something as her face lit up and there was a figurative lightbulb on her head. Her face was masked in ego and pride.

"And you know what, the room was thick with male testosterone! It was just a matter of time before I fainted with those growing pheromones. But worry not! Since your body is an alpha male, I didn't have trouble to hang in there for a bit longer."

Ji Haishan raised one eyebrow. What testosterone was she talking about?

"You know.. the hormones you males release whenever you're subduing others who are weaker than you." Bai Yulin explained as if she truly understood. Her eyes even sparkled in glee.

Hearing her weird understanding of the facts, Ji Haishan felt his left eye twitch. He then glared at her and asked "What the hell do you think testosterone is?"

He didn't get what she was trying to say to him but he still couldn't stop their strange conversation over testosterone. So, Bai Yulin ended up explaining to him a lot about male hormones in which she got all the facts jumbled up and wrong.

Ji Haishan didn't try to stop her because she was cuddling closer to his body. He liked to have her in his arms for a bit longer so he let her be. Even if her huge body was currently crushing his thin and frail one.

Later, the two of them talked about what had happened during the meeting. Bai Yulin shared her own version of the story and her personal opinion about Ji Ke Mu.

"So you've met him." Ji Haishan's expression turned slightly gentle with the mention of his younger cousin.

"Yeah. So he really calls you gege, huh?" Bai Yulin then saw Ji Haishan nod. Just from his reaction, she could see that their relationship was good.

And then she suddenly remembered something and added guiltily "He invited you to dinner today but I declined. I'm sorry, it just caught me by surprise.."

Ji Haishan saw how she was suddenly reflecting and he chuckled, asking "Why are you apologizing?"

"Well.. you must want to see your cousin again and chat and bond.. so I should've accepted." Bai Yulin reasoned, her lips pouting.

A sigh escaped Ji Haishan's mouth "Even if you accepted his invitation, I still couldn't appear during dinner so abruptly. He doesn't know me since I'm you now."

What would Ji Ke Mu say if 'Ji Haishan' suddenly brought 'Bai Yulin' to dinner together with him? There would be a lot of explaining to do, for sure.

"Don't worry, we'll just have to wait for the magazine to come out in the market. Our relationship will be official by then." he smiled and paused for a bit.

"After that, I can go with you to the welcoming party and have a talk with him. He won't suspect a thing." Bai Yulin seemed to contemplate his words as she nodded slowly.

"That's true." she agreed.

A black SUV drove through the wide ancestral land and it stopped in front of a huge mansion. There was a three-tier fountain right in front of the large lawn, making the car go one round after dropping the two twins.

"This place still looks the same." Ji Xia commented as she eyed the majestic stature of the two-storey building.

Ji Ke Mu pulled their luggage towards the entrance and saw a butler waiting for them. He handed their luggage to the maids standing by the butler's side.

They had arrived yesterday at midnight and had slept in their apartment which was closer to the airport. And now they were planning to stay at the mansion to accompany their grandfather.

"Welcome back, junior master and young miss. It's been a long time since we last met. I hope your days abroad was fulfilling." the butler greeted the two.

Ji Xia was the first to respond "It's been so long, indeed! How are you, sir butler?"

"I'm fine as you can see. Thank you for asking, young miss." the butler said as he began escorting them inside.

Ji Ke Mu walked beside his sister in silence. They went upstairs, taking the spiral staircase made of fine calacatta marble. The stairs itself was wide in size, taking over two sides from left and right hallways right to the second floor.

By the center was a huge golden chandelier. The more they climbed up the stairs, the clearer and bigger the chandelier seemed to be. They could get so close as to touch on the crystal decorations of the chandelier dangling above the ceiling.

When they stopped in front of an intricate wooden door, the butler knocked a few times and there came a gruff answer "Come in."

Tea and some snacks were already on the table, indicating that the person inside the room knew the twins were coming.

"Grandpa!" Ji Xia rushed towards the patriarch and gave him a tight hug, suffocating the poor old man.

Ji Ke Mu sighed with a smile as he looked at his sister's antics. He then came over and hugged the old man too. The three of them ended up having a group hug.

The butler then left to see if the twins' rooms were ready to use. He didn't forget to instruct two maids to be on standby and wait for any orders from inside the room.
