When they arrived in front of one of the conference rooms, Bai Yulin was stopped by a greeting of a man who was standing right before her.

He was also going inside the room. Bai Yulin turned her head to look at the man and squinted her eyes in the process.

'He's a baldie?' Bai Yulin's mind suddenly remembered the details she had read through at home.

There was only one bald man she recognized. And he also wore glasses. The thick, old fashioned one.

Bai Yulin immediately steeled her own expression and greeted back "If it's not director Lin."

"It's been a long time since you last came to work, young master Ji." the bald man said with a fake smile.

He glanced at 'Ji Haishan' from head to toe, wondering why the CEO was extra fashionable today. And for some reason, it ticked him off.

It was obvious he didn't want to address 'Ji Haishan' as young master Ji. He just did it for the sake of formality but anyone could discern his fake respect. It made him appear polite towards someone who was half his age and his ego was crushed because of it.

Bai Yulin could literally see through the baldie's act. She narrowed her eyes and said to herself 'Is this what Ji Haishan meant? A cold and silent war beneath different facade and smiles?'

Bai Yulin snorted inwardly as she laughed 'Well.. isn't this the same as those fake bitches in the entertainment industry?'

Apart from her poor acting skills, another reason why Bai Yulin didn't want to become an actress was because she knew how toxic the industry could be.

It wasn't like she didn't already step into that kind of place yet, she did. But it was just one leg, another of her feet was outside of that line where she never planned to cross. Being in the fashion industry as a supermodel was enough for Bai Yulin.

And fashion industry was different than entertainment industry. For Bai Yulin's logic, at least.

"Well, director Lin.. I'm just doing my job as a responsible citizen of this country. I'm saving petrol." Bai Yulin said, smirking like she wasn't offended.

She knew that this stupid bald man was purposely telling her that 'Ji Haishan' hadn't come to work for so long. Bai Yulin knew about it already. Ji Haishan told her that he would work from home after they swapped bodies. It was easier that way.

It was already more than one month and Ji Haishan got very comfortable in working from home. He didn't know it was so nice to stay in his condo while working in his study. Especially when Bai Yulin would often prepare coffee and hot chocolate for him. So, he decided to prolong his 'work at home' plan.

"What?" director Lin was perplexed. Why would someone like 'Ji Haishan' want to save petrol?

"Like I said, it's a waste of my time and money to travel from my place to the company while I can just work from home. Today's technology helps, I should say." Bai Yulin said without minding the others who were already seated in the room and were looking at her like she had grown two heads.

Director Lin scoffed, masking his disbelief. He walked to his arranged seat just right beside his close friend, director Mu. The baldie never expected that 'Ji Haishan' was this bold. Before, 'Ji Haishan' wouldn't even talk back to him and he thought the CEO was just spineless.

Director Lin didn't take into account the fact that Ji Haishan was just uninterested in talking with him before was because he wasn't worth his time. And it came to the point of ignoring his blatant insults.

Bai Yulin saw her seat which was right there at the center of the oval shaped table, right in front. The table was long and huge that it could fit around 30 people. Now that she realized, this room was probably the biggest conference room on this floor.

Bai Yulin took her seat immediately and Gao Li Bai was sitting closely by her right side, ready with his laptop on. The atmosphere inside the room was thick with heavy silence. All of the shareholders were already present except for three vacant seats.

Also, there was one seat which was unoccupied on her left side. And Bai Yulin could guess who it was for.

Bai Yulin had asked Ji Haishan how to recognize this Ji Ke Mu person. And Ji Haishan had shown her one of his photos. The guy looked young and had a boyish grin inside that photo. Bai Yulin learned that he was just two years younger than Ji Haishan.

The shareholders were holding their breath. Though they looked slightly impatient, they still didn't want to disrespect the CEO.

They noticed that today, 'Ji Haishan' appeared a bit easy to approach. As if several layers of his invincible wall were gone. He even talked back against director Lin when he would usually throw him a death glare and not bother with the bullshit at all.

The fact that 'Ji Haishan' even said something against the baldie was surprising enough because he was known as a man with few words.

Suddenly, the door to the room was opened and in came a handsome young man. His features were cool and he looked like the playful type of guy. He was the total opposite of Ji Haishan's cold and detached persona.

He walked straight towards Bai Yulin with a wide grin on his face, even waving his hand excitedly upon seeing her. Ji Ke Mu was aware that it was Bai Yulin pretending to be Ji Haishan. But for Harmonia's sake, he decided to play dumb.

"Gege, long time no seeee~!" he said as he tackled 'Ji Haishan' in a quick bear hug.

"?!" Bai Yulin couldn't react as fast when Ji Ke Mu immediately let go of her and took his seat beside her.

Several people inside the room was surprised by his sudden entrance but most of them seemed to have realized who he was: Ji Ye Qiu's son.

Bai Yulin didn't know how to react to Ji Ke Mu since she wasn't Ji Haishan. But she thanked God that Ji Ke Mu didn't seem to want to pester her(?). But she was sure that he was that type though. The type to blabber non-stop.

Bai Yulin took some deep breaths as she cleared her throat. She saw that most of the people inside the room was older than her.

Well, she had read their profile details after all so she knew they were mostly around her father's age.

Though she felt like cowering in fear due to the scary air around these stern men, she decided to play cool. She swore to slay this meeting so she would!

'Ji Haishan did great in my job so today is my showtime!'
