When the dance concluded, some people mingled and some started to disperse towards another main hall. The fashion show was about to really start.

Ji Haishan tucked his suit and went away. His companions were all prominent young masters. And four of them were representing their huge fashion companies. But none could be on par with him since this hotel was his. He was compassionate enough to give permission to hold the event here.

They all followed after him either with a chuckle or a smirk after witnessing his dance with Bai Yulin. Li Rou came walking towards Bai Yulin as she pulled her closer.

"Let's go. We're going to be late." she said as she dragged Bai Yulin into the stage of another exquisite hall.

There, a catwalk podium was set up right at the center. It went straight for dozens of metres with six feet width, dividing the hall by two sides: left side for sponsors and VIPs and right side for fellow celebrities and international models.

Bai Yulin took a seat on the right side of the podium. There was a name on her seat and she found it rather easily. She sat right in the first row, literally around the center of attention where lights were on. Others could see how much she was favored as a famous model worldwide.

Li Rou took a seat behind Bai Yulin. Once again reminding her to maintain her image. Bai Yulin sneered inwardly. Her eyes rolled around to appreciate the surrounding. She was so excited she could jump in happiness! But she couldn't do that. So she held it down.

'I'll celebrate my happiness later.' she thought.

Then her eyes stopped at a certain someone's figure. He sat right on the other side of the podium. Exactly in front of her. The only thing separating them was the podium itself. He was listening boredly to the man talking beside him. His arms crossed with one leg above another. His eyes dropped low on the floor as he occasionally nodded. He looked so bored and done.

All of a sudden, he took a glance over her direction. As they were sitting facing each other in a straight line, he could easily see her as he looked up. His brows knitted together as he saw Bai Yulin. She gulped.

Then Bai Yulin threw a smile his way. She bowed her head just slightly to show her courtesy. Then her eyes went back to the stage where an emcee was standing, giving cue to start the real thing. Ji Haishan also looked up to the stage.

When the whole thing ended, Bai Yulin was immediately surrounded again. Fellow celebrities and public figures chatted with her for a while. Bai Yulin was quickly immersed in the conversation. She truly liked the feeling of having someone to talk to.

Ever since she became a model, she was always being humble. She didn't brag about her success. And two years ago when Li Rou announced of her participation in an NGO program helping orphanages all around the country, her image rose up immensely. People liked her beauty and also kindness.

Everyone in the industry knew how Bai Yulin was from a humble household. She wasn't born rich like other elite daughters. She was just normal. But her success in her career made people think that there was nothing they couldn't do. It motivated others to become just like her.

"I hope to see you next week for the show. I'll go first." a woman in pink said to Bai Yulin. She was Qin Ling Zhi, a petite-looking woman with brown hair. She was once a famous actress but now she switched to becoming a host of various variety shows.

Qin Ling Zhi walked away followed by her other two companions who were also Bai Yulin's acquaintances. Bai Yulin knew many people. But she wasn't close with any of them. Despite that, she believed she was in a good relationship with everyone. She hadn't made an enemy- as of now.

As she walked through towards the car, aided by her bodyguards. She realized it wasn't the same limousine.

'Oh yes, I forgot...' she quickly got on her own Ferrari. She didn't need to go back to the agency because she would be on break starting tomorrow.

The limousine was her company's where she was urged by Li Rou to take as it could further enhance her popularity upon going off from it where the reporters awaited. At least that was what she said. It was a publicity stun and also a hint to show that Bai Yulin was in good hands in the agency.

'So much for maintaining my image. What, my Ferrari can't compare to that centipede-like car?' she complained. Bai Yulin had learned to talk inside her head whenever she felt like she wanted to talk. Because she must always take care of her words in public.

'This car costs me a lot and I can't even brag about it.' she continued. Bai Yulin never liked to waste. She thought buying a standard model car would be sufficient.

But Li Rou scolded her to buy at least a Ferrari. AT LEAST.

'What is this again? A show of wealth?' she rolled her eyes as she started to drive. Her bodyguards were trailing in another car behind her.

The bodyguards were also Li Rou's idea. As Bai Yulin's popularity arose years ago, some fans started stalking her. Bai Yulin at that time didn't even appear in dramas or movies. She wasn't an actress but a supermodel. Yet, her name was known throughout the city as the goddess of beauty.

Only this year had Bai Yulin decided to take parts in television show. Mostly variety shows. She had received some offers for movies and dramas before, but she declined them all. Bai Yulin's dream was to become a model- not an actress.

Despite that, people still supported her choice. Some criticized her for not taking the chance. But she didn't care. Bai Yulin wanted to be known as a top model rather than a popular actress.

As her mind was drifting off towards her own bubbles of thoughts, Bai Yulin continued to drive as she hummed a song. Her fingers tapping lightly on the steering wheel as she formed a smile on her mouth.

She wanted to go back home faster so that she could celebrate with a can of beer and a cup of instant noodles. This break would be her only chance to finish all of her marathon list of K-dramas!

Bai Yulin halted when a traffic turned red. Then she looked around and found no one on the road.

'Aghhh! I want to go home faster!' she repeated again and again. And when it turned back to green, she immediately drove forward. Unaware of a fast screeching car coming from her right side on the next lane.

"Oh my God!" she gasped.

Bai Yulin was so distracted to go home early when she collided with the car.

Bang!

She didn't have time to react and her car was already spinning together with the obviously limited edition Rolls-Royce. Due to high momentum from the clash, both cars spun around across the road until they crashed on a boulder.

A black vehicle behind that was trailing Bai Yulin's car since earlier immediately halted and out came her bodyguards running after the Ferrari.

"Ms. Bai!" they exclaimed in frantic.
