A few hours prior. Ji Ye Qiu had known from Hughes Wang that Ji Haishan's girlfriend, Bai Yulin had finally went out together with her manager.

Ji Ye Qiu thought this was the best opportunity to execute his plan. He didn't expect that Ji Haishan would never go out of his home and stayed inside with his girlfriend for a week long.

But he convinced himself that Ji Haishan was supposed to be injured from the accident. So that was why he had to secretly recuperate in his house. And Bai Yulin was there to nurse him.

As a resident inside Secret Sanctuary, Hughes Wang could take up to three visitors per day as security means since Secret Sanctuary was one of the safest condominium complexes in the country.

So, Hughes Wang registered for Ji Ye Qiu and his two bodyguards as his guest. This was why Ji Ye Qiu could come and appear in the condo without anyone suspecting anything.

The security also didn't think of him as a threat because they knew he was a Premium resident's uncle too. Basically everyone knew of Ji Haishan being a nephew to Ji Ye Qiu.

Ji Ye Qiu had always been dissatisfied against Ji Haishan. Ji Haishan was younger than him, less experienced than him. But the patriarch, Ji Zhang, chose him as the CEO of Ji Group.

Due to this, Ji Ye Qiu was stuck with the vice president position. He didn't want to acknowledge Ji Haishan because he wasn't even part of the family.

Ji Group was a family corporation, a family business that belonged to the Ji's. And Ji Haishan wasn't originally a Ji. So, this further intensified Ji Ye Qiu's hatred.

He had a fantasy that if Ji Haishan's name was changed back to Lu, then his father would have no choice but to make him the CEO. He also planned to publicize Ji Haishan's true identity if the patriarch didn't want to abide by his condition.

"Why aren't you standing up?" Ji Ye Qiu's voice was cold. He kicked 'Ji Haishan' twice.

Bai Yulin coughed several times when she accidentally bit her bottom lip. It caused her to taste the iron blood inside her mouth. But she didn't want to show any weakness.

'If it's Ji Haishan.. then he won't give you the pleasure of seeing him break.' Bai Yulin's eyes were still hard on Ji Ye Qiu.

She glared towards him and inwardly said 'I won't succumb to your stupid provocation.'

Despite the things he did, Ji Ye Qiu strangely didn't feel any triumph. He felt like he was just wasting time. Clicking his tongue, he immediately opened a bag and threw out the national registration document.

Bai Yulin eyed the document and saw that the "Ji" from "Ji Haishan" was changed to "Lu". Her eyes showed disbelief.

'Why must he go this far?!'

It was just a surname. It didn't mean anything. If Ji Haishan wasn't a competent man, then he surely didn't deserve to be Ji Group's CEO.

So why must this stinky uncle do something as pointless??

"You must think that I'm crazy to go this far. But what can I do.." Ji Ye Qiu trailed off with a subtle smile on his face.

Then his expression turned dark as he said "What I want is not only the CEO position. I also want my shares back! I want my properties back which have been stolen from you- a good for nothing stranger!"

"Everything was given to you.. while I was left with nothing. Who do you think you are, Lu Haishan??"

"If not for that woman- then dad wouldn't be so generous to you!" Ji Ye Qiu's voice rang through Bai Yulin's ear.

She didn't understand.

Ji Ye Qiu walked closer towards Bai Yulin who was lying on the floor with difficulty. Two men walked inside the storage room and went to secure Bai Yulin. Ji Ye Qiu crouched down to level with her and said "Now sign this document."

Bai Yulin didn't want to but because she was hurt earlier, her head was starting to get dizzy. She wasn't able to clearly focus so she couldn't resist much. The two men kept her hand in place so that she could sign.

Ji Ye Qiu effortlessly forced 'Ji Haishan' to sign the document of national registration so that his name would be changed back to Lu.

When his surname was no longer Ji, then Ji Haishan would automatically lose all rights to the properties under his name which was given to him by the patriarch.

His shares in the company would also be distributed among the rightful Ji's such as his two cousins, Ji Xia and Ji Ke Mu.

But Ji Ye Qiu was a very greedy person. He wouldn't even let his children have the shares. So, he had already prepared another document of shares transfer agreement.

This document was between Ji Haishan who was still a Ji and Ji Ye Qiu. He just had to fabricate it a little. He would use this document first so that he could get the shares and then he would finally submit the national registration so that Ji Haishan would lose everything.

"Don't blame me for this, my nephew." Ji Ye Qiu said mockingly.

"Now sign this too." he ordered.

But Bai Yulin refused.

She didn't know what she was doing but she knew it would be bad if she did what she was told.

So, Bai Yulin refused and resisted with all her might.

Ji Ye Qiu stood up with arrogance and narrowed his eyes dangerously. He then ordered the men to settle it for him.

"?!" Bai Yulin was surprised when her hand was grounded.

She was forced to sign another document and her eyes widened instantly as she read through it.

A shares transfer agreement?!

Oh no!

It would be over once she signed this one. So Bai Yulin tried as much as she could to struggle. She wanted to buy some time.

Perhaps anyone or just a passerby would come into this room..

She hoped for that to happen. Just anyone.. anyone would do..

But Bai Yulin's heart only yearned for one person.

'Ji Haishan...' she whispered to herself.
