Hughes Wang went into his condo and he later took out his phone. In a suspicious manner, he dialed a number.

"It's me." he said as soon as the call got through.

"Just as you said, he's unwell. Though he appears fine to me. Yes?" Hughes Wang switched his phone from his right hand to his left as he went to his couch and listened.

"Oh, got it. And another thing- he's with a woman. It's Bai Yulin. That beautiful model! They're together..!"

On the other end of the call, Ji Ye Qiu was surprised. He blurted a "What??"

"I told you.. he's living with her! Why else would she be here in Secret Sanctuary." explained Hughes Wang.

"I haven't heard of this. I thought he hates women!" Ji Ye Qiu couldn't believe it.

Hughes Wang on the other hand, just rolled his eyes "Yeah, yeah.. he hates women. Which man is stupid enough to hate women? Unless he's gay."

Later, their conversation turned to that of very confidential information and they talked for a long while. After they hung up, Hughes Wang tossed his phone on the couch and he smirked.

"Well.. well.. if you're not going to stay in power for long, why don't I take your woman away from you.. young master Ji?" he chuckled darkly.

He remembered Ji Ye Qiu telling him to mind his actions. But that man didn't tell him not to touch Ji Haishan's girlfriend.

The third task for working out together was completed just yesterday. Life was progressing rather well for Ji Haishan and Bai Yulin. They lived together without any conflict. She would do the house chores while Ji Haishan would do the cooking.

Sometimes, when she finished early, she would visit him in the kitchen and asked if there was anything to help with. The same thing happened today.

Ji Haishan faced Bai Yulin behind him and said "Oh, I'm almost done. Why don't you take a bath then we'll eat together."

Bai Yulin pouted hearing him. She complained "Just tell me to do something then I'll go and take a bath after."

"Then, go and prepare the table." he said as he turned his back on her with a light chuckle.

Bai Yulin was no longer surprised.

In fact, she loved hearing him laugh more. Even if he was currently inside her body, Bai Yulin could still distinguish the difference between his and her original body's laugh. The voice was different.

Ji Haishan's chuckle held deep vibration than normal, making his voice turned mellow yet magnetic. When he chuckled, Bai Yulin almost couldn't recognize her own original voice because it sounded as if it was truly Ji Haishan.

And the way he smiled was also different. It had a slightly haughty air and also a bit of seriousness. Just like the typical CEO out there. He was sometimes cheeky. His smile was more of a taunting smirk rather than a generous one.

She quite hated that about him.. Ji Haishan would always smile at her as if she was an idiot!

So, Bai Yulin would also counterattack with her endless teasing in which Ji Haishan was left to beg on her mercy everytime. Yep, everytime.

They literally became fight buddies. Or more to say, friends. They became each other's friend.

"Okay! I'm on it." Bai Yulin saluted like a soldier and she went to take out the plates. She liked helping him out in the kitchen.

She could see him cooking everyday and hell yeah- he looked ten times hotter when he was in the kitchen rather than in the study, working on his documents.

She bet no one in this whole world had ever seen this side of Ji Haishan.

The way his hands moved with the ladle and the pot, the way he chopped on the meat. And also the way he put seasonings into the meal. Everything was exceptionally precise and straightforward. As if he was dancing alone and was free.

"If you're not a CEO of your company, I guess you'll be a renowned chef instead. With huge fan base, of course. Mostly women." Bai Yulin laughed at her own words.

Ji Haishan who was working on the last dish, looked at her once and nodded casually, saying "That's right. I'd be a chef just like my dad."

'If not for that incident..' he didn't say this out loud.

Bai Yulin stared at Ji Haishan who was working on the seasonings and she didn't say anything. It was more like she couldn't.

So, she just put down the plates and chopsticks in silence.

When everything was done, Bai Yulin went to take a bath. Ji Haishan cleaned up the kitchen by himself and later also went into his own room, taking a quick shower.

They came back to the dining table and took a seat. Bai Yulin was already hungry. Over the little time she was living here, she never missed out on trying Ji Haishan's food, literally everyday.

He really was a perfect adonis. Cool, handsome, competent at work, and also knew how to cook!

Ahh~ men who knew how to cook was the best husband material ever!

Bai Yulin eyed the dishes presented and she was drooling "What do we have here? They look yummy."

"I tried to make Sichuan-style hotpot. And we also have Chicken Manchurian. Oh, egg fried rice and Chinese dumplings." said Ji Haishan.

"Wow.. you're the best! All of these food must be tasty!" Bai Yulin praised as she made a thumbs up gesture.

Ji Haishan smiled as he said "You didn't taste anything yet and you're already sucking up to me."

Ji Haishan definitely wouldn't tell Bai Yulin that she cooked better than he did.

"Well! I already know that whatever you cook is going to be delicious!" Ji Haishan laughed at these words and Bai Yulin was also secretly happy.

She had come to love the look Ji Haishan was making right now. And this particular expression of his only appeared when they were eating together.

Nothing in this world could be traded for his expression even if one would pay her million of dollars.

"Let's eat." he said and Bai Yulin was tossed out of her deep thoughts.

She later nodded and smiled "Okay."

At this moment, Bai Yulin thought that it would be nice if things never changed.
