"I didn't expect to see you around this time.. aren't you supposed to be in the company?" Hughes Wang asked with an overly bright grin. And somehow Bai Yulin didn't know what to say.

"Oh, that- ehem." she cleared her throat before trying to speak again, momentarily lost in her own disappoinment.

"I'm working from home for a while." she told him, forcing herself not to smile because the real Ji Haishan never did.

Hughes Wang nodded slightly as if he understood and later said "I see.. are you unwell, perhaps? Because I thought CEO like you loves going to your company to work."

Bai Yulin just nodded and didn't say more. She thought Ji Haishan would also not say much in this situation. There was no trace of suspicion from the other party so Bai Yulin was happy that she mimicked Ji Haishan well.

Hughes Wang meant to ask more questions but Bai Yulin immediately turned around and rushed towards where Ji Haishan was.

She didn't expect it would turn out like this..

This Hughes Wang was definitely a faker! She could literally see it from his smile just now. She could definitely recognize it because that same kind of smile was what other people used on her when they were trying to sugarcoat her!

Bai Yulin always met this kind of people at the photoshoot sites or even at red carpet events. There were plenty of people like him. A two-faced bastard.

Bai Yulin ran straight towards Ji Haishan who was running on the treadmill and she didn't realized she was being followed by Hughes Wang.

On the other hand, Ji Haishan was already exhausted after just about 5 minutes of running. It wasn't even his record speed. He really didn't know what to say to Bai Yulin's body.

Her body was simply too weak! Useless!

Didn't she ever exercise at home?!

Ji Haishan got off the treadmill and went to Bai Yulin's side. He then held her arm and slowly linked his fingers together with Bai Yulin's.

Bai Yulin at this point- lost all sense of touch. She couldn't see what Ji Haishan was doing and neither did she say a word.

But when he pinched on her palm, she was tossed back to reality. She turned to face him and saw in his eyes that he needed her to play along.

Bai Yulin was baffled. Why should she?? She was hella single since a few minutes ago so how did she suddenly get a boyfriend!

Anyway! That wasn't the most important! She was actually very embarrassed she could die!! And it was all his damn fault!

Ji Haishan ignored the mad fire brewing in Bai Yulin's eyes as he turned to face the stupid third wheeler "I'm his girlfriend, Bai Yulin. Nice to meet you..?"

"Hughes. Hughes Wang." the singer introduced himself despite his initial shock. He went closer to 'Bai Yulin' and shook her hand.

Even after some time, he didn't let go. He even had the nerve to rub his thumb on that delicate skin! He gave 'Bai Yulin' the gentlest smile he ever had.

Bai Yulin noticed how he was acting so indecent even in front of 'Ji Haishan' and her focus instantly came back.

She decided to play along with Ji Haishan.

"I never thought that you two.. are together." in came his playful smile in which he directed towards 'Bai Yulin'. A different kind of smile that every woman should know from that popular book: How to Recognize a Player and Kick His Ass.

'So this bastard is not only a faker but a playboy as well. What a sorry excuse of a singer!' Bai Yulin narrowed her eyes dangerously.

This type of men was the kind she hated the most. She often saw them in K-dramas as well. They usually turned out to be the villain that male leads had to dispose of.

Ji Haishan wasn't an idiot, so of course he knew what kind of guy Hughes Wang was. This famous singer was a sucker for rich people.

The main reason why Hughes Wang decided to live here in Secret Sanctuary was because there were many prominent figures living here too. It was his way of befriending them and sucking up on them, becoming their 'friends'.

"He's going too far." Bai Yulin whispered underneath her breath. She really didn't want to be in the same space as this Hughes Wang.

She saw how this bastard was openly flirting with Ji Haishan. Playing with his eyes and smile- ugh! The audacity!

Even if she knew that the real her wasn't in that body- she still felt uncomfortable. She hated the fact that it was Ji Haishan who had to face this stupid playboy's advances!

When she couldn't stand it anymore, Bai Yulin snatched Ji Haishan's hand away from Hughes Wang and said "I suggest you mind your manners in front of me, Mr. Wang."

Hughes Wang raised his brows, seemingly intrigued. Then he took a few steps back and said he was only joking and there was no need to be that guarded against him.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, he took the hint that he wasn't supposed to be there. 'Ji Haishan' was glaring at him non-stop and 'Bai Yulin' was acting oblivious to his enchanting smile.

Then, Hughes Wang had no choice but to go away and disappear.
