After feeding medicine to Bai Yulin, Ji Haishan walked out of the room to clean the kitchen. After cleaning, he took a seat on the dining table and began to eat the food he prepared earlier.

As he munched on the food, he was once again reminded of Bai Yulin's cooking. He stopped eating afterwards.

Putting down the chopsticks, he sighed. Her cooking was really delicious. It was too good it brought him to tears.

After he wasted time on some trivial thinking for a few minutes, he continued eating again. This time, he was in a bad mood because he had no one to share the food with.

As expected- food tasted better when there was someone to eat with. He sighed again.

In the very tiny corner of his heart, he wanted to hear her thoughts on this meal. The way she complimented his porridge made him want to see her reaction about this meal. He really wanted her to taste it but alas.. she was sick now.

'I hope she'll get better soon..'

Meanwhile, in Bai Yulin's room. She was mentally groaning. She thought Ji Haishan was like a typical young master of a rich family- couldn't touch the pan and cook in the kitchen.

Who would have thought that even his porridge was like a Michelin signature dish!

It really was delicious. It elevated her appetite even though she was having a fever and couldn't taste flavors on her tongue.

'He should become a chef..' this thought came to her suddenly.

'Yeah.. he'll do better than any chefs out there.'

'I bet his food is tastier than mine.. that's why he cried that day when eating my food.' she rolled to her side.

'I guess my cooking is no good..' Bai Yulin closed her eyes. The effect of the medicine was starting to get to her. She became sleepy.

Back to Ji Haishan, he was already finished eating. He had cleaned the table and was just about to turn on the dishwasher when his phone rang. He took his phone and saw it was his younger cousin, Ji Ke Mu.

Ji Haishan internally cursed. How should he answer?? He was Bai Yulin now!!

After straining his mind to think of a better solution, Ji Haishan decided to not pick up the call. He would rather not pick it up than having his cousin hear a woman's voice answering his phone. That could create misunderstanding so he would rather die!

Back in Toronto, Ji Xia smacked on Ji Ke Mu's head and said "Are you stupid? He won't answer since he's a woman now! He'd rather die than answer your call."

Ji Xia truly knew her cousin's personality well.

"Ow-! That hurts! I'm a mortal now so don't hit me so hard!" shouted Ji Ke Mu while rubbing the back of his head.

Then, Ji Ke Mu switched to texting.

Ji Ke Mu: Gege how are you? I'm sorry for calling suddenly. You must be busy.

Ji Xia saw his message and she frowned, saying "Why must he be busy at this time? It's past office hour in China!"

"Why are you finding fault in me, Athena! He's a workaholic, remember??" Ji Ke Mu reasoned as he rolled his eyes.

Then, a message arrived.

Ji Haishan: Sorry, can't talk.

Ji Xia and Ji Ke Mu faced each other and smiled knowingly. He texted again.

Ji Ke Mu: Gege, what's up in China? Are there any difficulty?

Ji Xia saw how he used his words and she once again knitted her brows and asked "Isn't that too deliberate? What if he misunderstands?"

"Nah.. he won't! You'll see."

Meanwhile in Secret Sanctuary, Ji Haishan was a bit surprised. He didn't know that words had gotten to them as well. So he typed a reply carefully.

Ji Haishan: It's uncle and the others. I was in a car crash a few days ago.

Back to Toronto again, Ji Ke Mu and Ji Xia gasped. They obviously had no idea about it. Ji Ke Mu was so angry he instinctively stood up and yelled "How dare they!!"

Ji Xia had to calm him down and told him to sit back down.

"Even if he's not my brother back in Eden, he's still my cousin in this life! I can't accept this! Dad has gone too far!" exclaimed Ji Ke Mu in his rage.

Ji Xia also agreed "That's right. We should go back. We have a good enough reason to be there for him and her."

"But we can't interfere with this life! What good is there to have our memories back if we can't help?" Ji Ke Mu started to feel very bad. His mood became sour.

"We can't interfere but we can give support. We'll be there for our cousin."

"Besides, this can help the two of them grow closer. This issue with dad and his supporters will be our stepping stone." Ji Xia explained and Ji Ke Mu had no choice but to agree. What his sister said indeed made sense.

The next day arrived, Ji Haishan woke up early in the morning and he suddenly had a routine urgency to get ready and go to work except- he couldn't do that anymore.

He saw his thin and frail hands and realized how big his protruding breasts were. He blushed. He could never get used to it. Never! And the fact that this face he wore could easily blush was even more vexing. It blushed at any kinds of embarrassment! Anything at all!

The boobs were always bouncing up and down whenever he walked and it was a bother! He always couldn't tear his eyes away from the two mountains stuck on his chest.

Ji Haishan had to train his soul so that he could cleanse himself from all evil. He couldn't possibly lust over the very own body he wore, right? That would be messed up.

Ji Haishan began to shower and then he went to prepare breakfast. He made Egg Drop soup for Bai Yulin because he thought she would be bored eating porridge again today.

Then, he knocked on her door and went in. He put the tray on the table and stared at her sleeping face. He raised his brow.

He realized that even his neutral sleeping face changed after Bai Yulin took over. Look at that innocent cheeks and slightly parted lips. Not like the original him at all.

Ji Haishan heaved a small sigh and woke her up, poking at her shoulder as he leaned closer towards her face.

Bai Yulin was in an important meeting with her fellow underlings when she heard a voice from the sky, telling her to wake up. Then her mob underlings disappeared one by one like smoke and she peered her eyes open.

She was startled because the first thing she saw was her own pretty face, just inches above her. Bai Yulin woke up with a start. She lifted her head high and accidentally hit Ji Haishan's forehead.

He stumbled a few steps back but fortunately, he didn't fall this time. He stared at her in disbelief and said "Are you even a girl? How can you hit me first thing in the morning?!"

Bai Yulin's face turned red instantly. Not because of the fever, but because of his words. How could he just tell her that she wasn't a girl? She was a girl, okay! An authentic girl at heart but sadly no longer in the body!

Damn this body! This strong and muscled body! Just a waste of mass and space!

"Sorry, I didn't mean to!" why was Ji Haishan always mean to her anyway!

And since he wasn't sick anymore because of menstrual cramps, she couldn't act that high and mighty. She couldn't even tease him like usual since she was now the one at his mercy.

Ji Haishan ignored her apology he sat down beside her. She flinched because she was afraid that he would do something because he was angry. Yet, that didn't happen.

He raised his hand but he wasn't about to hit her.

Instead, Ji Haishan rubbed her forehead slowly and carefully. Using Bai Yulin's original fingers which were extra soft, he rubbed her gently.

The pain that was supposed to hurt didn't hurt anymore. Their proximity grew closer and there was practically no personal space between them at this point.

It was unknown to each of them- but the fact that their heart was beating faster at this exact moment was true and undeniable.
