A few hours later, the doorbell rang. Ji Haishan eyed Bai Yulin who was in his body to take action.
She immediately understood and quickly went to the door, opening it to see the guest. She had to act like Ji Haishan so that whoever the guest wouldn't be suspicious.
Gao Li Bai was seen standing curtly in front of the door. He had heard beforehand that his boss was going to live with a woman. He really couldn't believe it at first, thinking that his boss was actually drunk in the middle of the afternoon.
Then, his boss asked him to come. He was secretly happy to see who the woman was. So that he could evaluate her and see whether she could be a potential threat to Ji Haishan or not. Or whether she could be the one true love for his boss and melt the ice cube.
When Bai Yulin opened the door, she tried schooling her expression to that of Ji Haishan's usual, expressionless face but her nature was out in the open as soon as she saw Gao Li Bai- she instantly smiled towards him as basic courtesy.
Gao Li Bai was stunned.

His boss was smiling?? Towards him? Was he about to be fired??
This was unheard of!
He quickly bowed ninenty degree and even if Ji Haishan asked him to prostrate then he would do it in earnest- just don't fire him, please!!
"Eh? Stop that, come on in." Bai Yulin said to Gao Li Bai who was standing there like a statue.
Did his boss just tell him to stop??

Gao Li Bai immediately went inside and followed 'Ji Haishan' into the living room. There, he saw a goddess. Truly a magnificent being.

Then, he stared at the 'Bai Yulin' who was sitting crossed legs on the sofa. There was a little frown on her delicate face. Her lips pursed. One of her arms propped on the side of her head like a mafia leader.

Bai Yulin cleared her throat and suddenly said "Li Bai, from here onwards, Bai Yulin will give you instructions."
Gao Li Bai turned to face his boss who stood not far from him.

Ji Haishan who was sitting on the sofa immediately raised his brows. He didn't expect his assistant to be getting the wrong idea! His assistant really liked working with him huh..??
He stood up instantly and told Gao Li Bai "You misunderstood, Mr. Gao. Your boss won't fire you, he just wants you to follow my instructions so that you can help me with my basic needs and schedule. That's all."
Gao Li Bai blinked his eyes "Really? I'll still work with Ji Group?"
"Yes, you're just given this task because I- he trusts you will take care of Bai Yulin." Ji Haishan coughed twice.
Stupid mispronouncing.. he could never get used to it.
Gao Li Bai looked relieved and he sighed a breather. He was saved.. damn it, say it sooner then! Don't make him misunderstand!
After that, the poor assistant schooled his expression and smiled towards 'Bai Yulin'. He bowed towards her and introduced himself.
"It's an honor to meet you, Ms. Bai. I'll make sure to help you whenever I'm needed. Please feel free to contact me." he handed out a name card towards the woman, acting very professional. Not like the him a few minutes ago.
To Ji Haishan, Gao Li Bai was a kind of eccentric assistant. He loved working for him even if he gave the guy months straight of overtime. He sometimes asked Gao Li Bai to settle things a bit faster than necessary, making him work tirelessly non-stop, but the guy never mind at all.
Apart from his huge salary, there was nothing for Gao Li Bai to gain. Just work, work, and more work. Despite that, he loved his job as Ji Haishan's trusted assistant.
He wasn't even like the typical assistant one could see in a novel. He didn't wear glasses, he wore contact lenses with bright colors. He didn't look like a random mob character. In fact, his height was as tall as Ji Haishan. His built was also quite the same. But in terms of look, Ji Haishan far surpassed him ten times over.
Nevertheless, Gao Li Bai was still in the category of 'handsome'. He had a face like the actor of the marvel series The Hulk, the younger version and the whiter version (because he was Chinese).
"Alright, thanks." Ji Haishan took the name card from his assistant even though he was sure he wouldn't need it.
Then, they settled in the living room and talked some more about Bai Yulin's schedule as a model. Ji Haishan wanted Gao Li Bai to cancel every photoshoot that requires Bai Yulin to be out of the city.
Hearing this, Gao Li Bai smirked internally. He never took his boss as a very clingy type ah!
He nodded, telling them that it could be done. He would contact Bai Yulin's manager regarding the schedule and make proper arrangements so that Bai Yulin wouldn't lose out on other opportunities when she cancelled.
When that was over, the assistant went away. Ji Haishan didn't forget to make Bai Yulin tell Gao Li Bai that he wouldn't be coming to the office for a few days (to sort out the messy body swap thingy).
