Several hours later, Ji Haishan was thirsty so he decided to come out of the bedroom. He sneaked out after looking left and right, feeling uncomfortable due to the happening earlier.

He couldn't face Bai Yulin. It would only make him remember nasty stuff again.

As he went into the kitchen, he was surprised to see her there- with her hands full of snacks, chocolate bars and a few canned beer. Her back was facing him so he couldn't see what she was doing.

When Bai Yulin suddenly turned around, both of them were startled.

"Oh my goodness!" she knocked over the counter and all of the things inside her arms fell over.

One can of beer rolled to Ji Haishan's foot and it stopped after making contact with his toe. His face showed speechlessness. He faced her again and Bai Yulin immediately scurried to pick up everything on the floor.

Ji Haishan also helped but before he could bend down, he saw on the table a cup of instant noodles, with white steam coming out of the thick broth. She was making instant noodles just now!

"Why are you standing there like a tree? Help me!" Bai Yulin's hushed voice made Ji Haishan quickly bend over to help her.

There were three canned beer, two mineral water bottles, a plentiful of snacks and a mouthful of chocolate bars. And also.. two cups of hot instant noodles.

"What are you doing with a lot of junk food?" Ji Haishan couldn't help but ask.

"I'm about to do an all-nighter so I need a lot of energy." she answered proudly.

"Why? Are you working at home?" he asked, bewildered.

"Nah.. not that kind of all-nighter. Here, help me and I'll show you!" she took the two cups of instant noodles and walked ahead of him, Ji Haishan followed.

Bai Yulin asked him to place all the food on the small coffee table in front of the television as she turned it on. Then, she looked as if she had forgotten something and went back to the kitchen. She appeared with a bottle of red wine and a glass. Ji Haishan suddenly had a thought that she really was a drinker.

Suddenly, Bai Yulin ran towards another room and came back again with several fluffy pillows and blanket. She also changed into an oversized blue T-shirt and worn-out trek suit which made Ji Haishan's jaw drop.

Why was such clothes in her apartment? It looked like a beggar's clothes!

Bai Yulin began to decorate the small living room space and sat down. She motioned for him to sit beside her and he did it despite his initial reluctance.

The drama series then ensued. It was a thriller-themed drama called Vagabond. An original Netflix series.

"Ah.. I've been postponing this story for so long! Now I finally have the time to watch." Bai Yulin exclaimed, looking very excited. Vagabond was one of the many dramas in the list she painstakingly created for her binge-watching activity.

Ji Haishan was frowning ever since he sat down. His view on this woman totally changed to a full 180 degree. She wasn't what he expected at all. Not at all.

"What?" Bai Yulin noticed him staring.

"You.. is this your style at home?" he couldn't stop himself asking.

"Yeah.. because it's comfortable?" Bai Yulin did a once over on her own body and nodded. She didn't understand his question.

Suddenly, she realized it was Ji Haishan's body!

"Oh goodness! I changed using my own clothes!" Bai Yulin panicked. It was embarrassing to use her own clothes on someone else's body!

"Ah!!" flustered, she was just about to stand up and changed back but Ji Haishan stopped her. His slender and thin hand was gripping on her strong one.

She looked at him, confused.

"It's fine. Just continue watching your drama." he told her after some consideration.

Bai Yulin thought he didn't mind so she sat back down. They were sitting beside each other and she pressed 'continue' on the paused drama again.

Ji Haishan noticed how the shirt she wore was too big even for his body and he unknowingly chuckled. He wondered how it would look like if the original Bai Yulin was the one wearing it.

It must look.. quite too big for her frame.. maybe a little cute?

Would she wear undies underneath if she was wearing the oversized shirt? Guess not..

Eh?

Why was he thinking about this??!

What was wrong with him?!

Then, as if the forbidden switch was turned on- Ji Haishan's mind was filled with Bai Yulin's milky skin and beautiful curves. He was reminded of the time when he was in the bathroom.

"Oh, my man Lee Seung-Gi is so handsome!!" Bai Yulin's words made him jump slightly as his head turned to mush.

Ji Haishan immediately got rid of such indecency and he took a few deep breath to calm his raging heart. He didn't know why he was acting this way!

He never took himself as someone without proper control. In fact, he was proud of himself to practice abstinence to get away from women. But why was he here- thinking of a woman's sinful body just in front of the said woman??

To make himself free from another round of stupid thoughts, Ji Haishan began chanting the number of Pi. He schooled his expression into that of a collected persona.

"Here." Ji Haishan turned around and saw Bai Yulin handing him a glass of red wine. He looked at her face and she was smiling.

"I heard drinking red wine can help during period cramps." she said.

Ji Haishan nodded and took the glass from her. Bai Yulin's smile became wider and she was satisfied seeing him complying with her. She told him the whole bottle was for him and she would only drink beer. Then, she distributed some snacks and even gave him one cup of instant noodles. The two cups were meant for her, actually. But she wouldn't tell him that.

Ji Haishan wanted to reject eating unhealthy food but he didn't have the heart to say anything. He suddenly realized that Bai Yulin never mentioned anything about him crying. It must be out of consideration, he thought.

Bai Yulin wasn't like others who loved to pry onto his private life, and he was thankful for that.

A tiny part of him began to think differently about her.
